“No.” said Joshi.
Joshi walked closer to the collapsed site to get a closer look. He looked for any traces of the Professor, but there was nothing but residue.
“No!” yelled Joshi as he dug into the residue. “No, no, no, please let him be alive, Mowry! Mowry, answer me! Please. Don’t leave me by myself!”
Joshi dug into the center of the heap until he found Mowry’s body. He carried Mowry onto his arms and tried shaking him.
“Mowry, please wake up. I’m not kidding around, wake up! No, please, wake up, wake up, wake up!”
Joshi realized that hard as he might, Mowry will not wake up.
“Joshi ... he’s ... gone. I’m really sorry.” said Mailtroid looking sad.
Joshi began to cry on Professor Mowrylean. His tears slipped off of his flesh like soap slides on water.
“Mowry ... I don’t want to lose you. You were the best friend I ever had. I know you can’t hear me, but ... I don’t want you to go. I’ll reproduce all your experiments so I can share them with the world. I promise I’ll use them to benefit all living things, but I need you, I can’t do it alone. Lt. Tronzoa will not get away with this. I cannot let it happen! You ... were like family to me...” said Joshi sobbing.
Professor Mowrylean slightly opened his eyes to look at Joshi for the final time.
“Joshi ... you are like family to me too...” he said with a small smile.
Everyone looked surprised at the Professor’s awakening. They all gasped at the miracle and began to cheer.
“Mowry! You are alive! Oh Mowry, I am so happy you aren’t gone.”
“Joshi, no, I cannot stay. I don’t have much time. Yes, Lt. Tronzoa has really done it this time. Joshi, you were like a son to me, you were the greatest thing that happened to me since Celestial was recruited in the Intergalactic Communications Tower. However, it’s time I join Celestial. Joshi, I want you to know, that I in my heart, I loved you very much. Make sure Mailtroid is always safe and I want you to convince Yoshiken to stop working for my brother; but most of all Joshi, I want you to always follow your heart and let it guide you wherever you are. It would mean the world to me if you can fulfill my dream of reproducing my experiments and distribute them to benefit all living things. Goodbye Joshi, I’ll never forget you. Keep me close to your heart, and I’ll always be there with you...” said Professor Mowrylean. He closed his eyes and was conquered by eternal slumber.
Joshi laid him down gently and noticed a book in his hand. He took it from him and opened it.
“It’s a journal.” Joshi said to himself as he closed it and kept it as a valuable treasure.
“Yes, I finally got rid of him. Now I can easily conquer the world without interference. I should tell my Agent the wonderful news!” said Lt. Tronzoa finally getting up from his chair.
Yoshiken entered the base quietly and ran up to the control room. He noticed Lt. Tronzoa out of his chair and smiling in his most sinister way. He noticed on the monitor that the enterprise was already destroyed and Professor Mowrylean was deceased.
“Ah, there you are Agent Draconi. I see you have noticed the total chaos I have caused? I hope you learned a thing or two about how to be evil. What do you say we go and conquer the world now?” he said walking towards Yoshiken.
Yoshiken walked towards him and charged up his hand. He folded it into his fist and glared at Lt. Tronzoa.
“Lights out, ye murdered!” he said punching Lt. Tronzoa unconscious.
Yoshiken picked up Lt. Tronzoa and threw him out of the window. He sat down in the chair Lt. Tronzoa has been sitting on for hours and put lowered his head.
“This is all my fault. If I hadn’t helped Lt. Tronzoa in the first place, none of this would’ve happened,” he sighed. “I shall join Joshi at the Professor’s funeral, hopefully that should cheer him up.”
The villagers carried Professor Mowrylean towards the Yoshi’s Corner graveyard to bury him under his grave. Yoshiken promptly joined the mourning and on time to hear Anjil’s Blessing.
“Dearest Professor, we honor all your efforts to aid our world in a technological way. We gathered here today to commemorate all your accomplishments and to bless you on your way with the other spirits. May your trip be a fair and heavenly flight.” said Anjil as she placed some flowers beside his grave.
After she set the flowers, everyone was silenced to hear Song of the Spirits.

"Let the goodness of your heart guide your way,
To the heavens where the blossoms sway.
Let fate decide your next destination,
And bring you that heavenly sensation.
Fly free, with glee,
Inside our hearts you will always be.”

After her song, everyone except Joshi, Mailtroid, and Yoshiken, departed from the graveyard. Joshi walked towards Mowry’s grave and knelt down.
“Mowry, I’m so sorry. If I could start over, I would prevent this from happening, but I know you and Celestial will finally be reunited. I hope the both of you will be much happy together elsewhere than here where evil still thrives. I want you to have these gloves as a gift, to always remember me with fluffy warmness.” said Joshi as he took the gloves Tim Yoshi gave him and set them beside his grave.
A breeze blew through Joshi’s hair after he set the gloves down. He looked at Mowry’s grave and a small puff that looked like his face hovered over the gloves and took them away. Both the gloves and the figure disappeared in thin air.
“I knew you’d like them Mowry.” he said smiling to the grave.
“Is Joshi talking to the grave?” asked Yoshiken, staring at Joshi.
Mailtroid kicked Yoshiken’s shoe.
“Yoshiken, be serious!”
“I am serious! These shoes are new!”
Joshi stood up and walked away from the grave and to Yoshiken.
“Yoshiken, I’m taking Lt. Tronzoa down! If you’d like, you can stay here, but I’m going to avenge Mowry!” said Joshi angrily.
“Oh, I already threw that bum out of the control room window after I knocked him out. Hee hee.” giggled Yoshiken.
“Well then, I’m going to destroy his base like he destroyed the tower and the enterprise.”
Yoshiken stopped giggling when he realized Joshi was not joking.
