Time to Kill

This is my first big story...I guess you could call it an "epic." Of course, epics are generally really long, and this is something that you guys could probably finish in less than an hour. But then again, the story took me over a year to write, and its final page count turned out to be around 212 pages....Well, either way, it was awesome for me to be writing this, and I hope I can continue soon; as you'll probably see in the story, I get better and better as I write.

Moving along...I'm a character in this story, along with Yoshata (who many of you probably already know) and some of my own made-up characters. Through this, you might be able to learn a bit more about me. Not that there's anything complicated to learn.

The story's about time travel, but that's all I'll tell you about, since there's a more descriptive author's foreword at the beginning. Here's the link to the file, and have fun reading:

All right...I might have found the problem, and I have corrected it.

The problem with such a large file is that you can't post it in words on the message board very easily...and that means that you have to use a file storage server, or something, so that it can be linked. It's too bad the only things you can instantly upload in a post are pictures.

...Oh well. Hopefully, this time will work.

You know, I had a problem just like this, only with pictures.

It could be that your server doesn't allow downloading of the type of document. Try saving and uploading it, without spaces in the file name as a .XML

Well, there are a few problems with that:

1: Someone just said that they were able to download the file without trouble...so apparently, there's no problem with the format;

2: I use Microsoft Word, which doesn't allow me to save files with extension .XML;

3: It could be possible that the server I use only stores files and cannot be linked to. My reason for this would be that every time I go to my file on the server, the link to it has always changed.

4: The problem might be that I need a server that stores files for usage on an actual website...

Wow!!! Joey, you wrote an epic/novel! You are an incredible fan fiction writer, I have never seen anyone write like this, and this will surely take one more than a single hour to read, perhaps several hours ... depending on the speed of the reader. This is quite an epic, you even have the forewords and dedication in it, just like a regular book! Man, I wish you could publish this book, it will be so awesome, every Yoshi fan will go loco for this story! Consider me a big fan of your writing! Oh my gosh, I cannot believe my eyes, is it humanely possible? This one story must've needed lots of dedication and motivation to write, I admire your skills. I must show this to my friends who appreciate good writing.

Aw man, I read the first six or seven chapters ages ago and looked forward to reading the end... but it's not loading.

You don't have it published anywhere else, do you? Like ff.net, the Yoshi Station, or anywhere like that?

I'm afraid that, because FanFiction.net limits file size to 300 KB and the story's in the 700s and because of the Yoshi Station's incompletion (at this point in time, anyway...this'll probably be much easier when the YS is done with major construction), I have almost no where to store this story where I can link back to it. The reason that the story fails to load sometimes is most likely because that storage server will only stay on when I'm logged on to my account on the internet; sometimes my account remains logged on after I've left, but at times, it turns off, and thus the only option is to wait till I come back online. That, and the option of simply e-mailing me for the file or catching me on MSN Messenger.
