This is a prolouge I made just yesterday, 1-25, and it's begins the third story I wrote, Yoshi's Worst Adventure. I hope you guys like it!

Prolouge to Yoshi's Worst Adventure

It was morning and things were going like clockwork for everyone. People in the Mushroom Kingdom were going to work, Bowser was in his castle, Yoshis were playing on Yo'ster Isle, and Mario was ready for action. His brother, Luigi, was out on vacation, missing out on all the fun. Not to mention this clockwork continued like normal when Bowser showed up for his weekly plan to try and succesfuly capture Princess Peach, and to defeat Mario. So, as always, Mario goes to Bowser's Castle to save her. Bowser, of course, was easily trounced for about the billionth time. Now, Mario decided to break the pattern and try something different. He'd head back to Yo'ster Isle and surprise them all... and he'd bring Princess Peach with him too.
It was afternoon now, Mario and Peach had boarded Peach's personal plane, and flew down to Yo'ster Isle. Once there, Mario found Yoshi's house, and knocked.
"Who is it?" asked Yoshi. "It's a-me, Mario!" he replied.
"Wha... THE Mario?" asked Yoshi as he excitedly opened up the door. "Oh my gosh, it really is you! How've you been? I haven't seen you since we lost contact with Roshi!"
"Yep, I'm back! And this is Princess Peach, she's the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom." explained Mario.
"Hello, you're... Yoshi, aren't you? Mario told me all about you and your island. I'm happy to meet you!" Peach happily said.
"Princess Peach? Wow, my old friend Roshi once told me about you, well, he told me about Mario saving you from... errrrr... What's his name." replied Yoshi, a bit surprised.
"Bowser?" asked Peach.
"Yeah! That's his name!" thought Yoshi out loud.
Mario, Peach, and Yoshi continued their reunion, catching up on lost time. Yoshi couldn't wait to tell how he and Boshi defeated Bowser for the cookies.
"So that was you? Leaving Bowser in that giant egg. Nice job Yoshi! No wonder Peach and I had a week to ourselves!" complimented Mario.
"Actually, dat wuz moi." interrupted Boshi, who had been evesdropping.
"Yeah, that's Boshi, he's one of the tougher Yoshis, but we all like him!" exclaimed Yoshi.
"Ugh, spare da Bosh da sentiment. I'm outta here." replied Boshi as he walked out.
The reunion continued until nightfall. Peach had the plane's pilot take her back to the castle, since her father might be a bit worried. Mario decided to stay the night on Yo'ster Isle to make up for ditching the Yoshis after Roshi had left. But, a new adventure was forming, and it wouldn't be an easy one. Past midnight, Mario was woken up by a loud cranking noise coming from the sky. As he sat up, he noticed that the yoshis were apparently heavy sleepers, since each one was still sound asleep. Mario looked at the sky and saw something round hovering high above him, and the cranking sound was coming from it. Next thing he knows, a piece of paper falls on his face and the cranking sound gets softer and softer, as if it was flying off somewhere. Mario took the piece of paper off of his face and walked over to a nearby campfire, so he could make out what was written on it.
"[shadow=black,left,300]Mario its me Peech i wantto meat yu at New York Citie tomorrwo morneeng im longing for a daet ill meat yu their and bring that ceut Yoshi i luv hiz littel fase -yor girlfrend Peech[/shadow]" is what it read.
Mario studied the note carefully, "Either Peach is drunk, or she had someone else write this. But I'll go... once I get some sleep that is." he thought.
That morning, Mario woke Yoshi up and told him about the note and where they should meet. They decided to wait until night to leave, that way, they wouldn't be attracting attention to themselves. Mario got out his cape, mounted Yoshi, and flew to New York. Upon arrival, he and Yoshi saw Peach waiting just outside a ritzy motel.
"Hi Mario, and Yoshi, glad you two could make it! Come with me, I want to show you something." exclaimed Peach.
So Mario, Peach, and Yoshi began walking... away from the motel. Yoshi kept noticing that Peach was slightly tripping in her high heels, but he shrugged it off as nothing. Eventually, Peach had led them to a dark ally, with puddles, old trashcans, and plenty of shadows. Just then, of all people, Boshi walks up.
"Hey Yoshi! How're you doing? And Mario, I'm kind of surprised to see you here as well!" remarked Boshi.
"Errrrr, Boshi, why uh... why are you talking normally? "I thought that'd be "cramping your style.""
"Yes, well... errrrm... uh... it is. I just... I'm just talking politely around the princess. Yeah, that's it." replied Boshi.
Just then, something heavy jumped onto a trashcan, smashing it.
"Gawfahahaha, Mario, you fell right into my trap, well done." laughed Bowser.
Mario braced himself to attack, and just as he launched a punch, Peach blocked his attack!
"Not this time Mario, Bowser needs to win at least one round." she said a bit angerly.
At this point, Yoshi decided it was up to him, he looked around and saw a tashcan lid. He swallows it into an egg and prepared to throw it at Bowser. But, just as it left his hand, a blue fist broke it, Boshi blocked the attack!
"Not this time Yoshi... errrrr... sorry. Not dis time Yosh, like ma gal Peach said, let Bowsa win fo' once!" Boshi yelled.
"Okay men, show these fools who you really are." yelled Bowser.
Both Peach and Boshi got in front of Bowser and showed themselves to be Duplighosts!
"Bwahahaha, oh Mario, before I forget, I was the one that wrote the note last night, I can't believe you fell for it... didn't the sound of my Clown Copter wake you up? Oh well, it doesn't matter , now my duplighosts, attack!"
The duplighosts snickered and both turned into duplicates of Yoshi! Both "Yoshis" ran toward the real Yoshi and spun, danced, and jumped around him.
"Hey Mario, which one of us is the real Yoshi, just guess!" said one. "What a cheap trick! I'm the real Yoshi, Mario!" said another. "Hey, don't go believing their lies, I'm the real Yoshi!" said the other.
Just then, the two fake Yoshis sped toward Mario and began beating on him, Bowser joined the fray and knocked Mario unconsious.
"Feeling a bit lonely out there Yoshi?" asked Bowser.
The "yoshis" then turned themselves into Bowsers, so now, Yoshi had to deal with three Bowsers instead of just one! Bowser and his duplighosts jumped Yoshi, and ended up making him partially unconsious.
Bowser began to laugh, "Gawfahaha, after you dump him, I can continue to annialate his friends, starting with that pathetic Yoshis' Island."
Yoshi noticed some clouds rolling in, he then passed out and awaited what would happen. However, as he slept, Mario regained consiousness and struggled to find help in New York City.
