Chapter 2
The Legend of the Yoshi Star Fragments

Gonzales Jr. and the leader walked inside his home and Gonzales Jr. told him about his adventures.

Yoshi Leader: I see. So this Shadow Queen was summoned and you and Mario defeated her.
Gonzales Jr.: That is right.
Yoshi Leader: Wow, that’s amazing. And now I must tell you a legend.
Gonzales Jr.: A legend of what?

The leader walked up to his table and picked up a box to show.
Yoshi Leader: Here. Look inside.
Gonzales Jr.: Hey. Is this a star piece?
Yoshi Leader: Yes, but this is no ordinary star piece, it’s a piece of the Yoshi Star.
Gonzales Jr.: Yoshi Star?
Yoshi Leader: The Yoshi Star is a special gem containing a lot of power. Each fragment contains a special element like fire and water. They also said that if a fragment is near, the owner’s fragment will grow bright. But there is another problem…
Gonzales Jr.: What?
Yoshi Leader: A lot of dragons have been roaming around the island causing major problems. So it’s up to you and others to fight them away from the island. Can you do it?
Gonzales Jr.: Yeah! I whoop each dragon and make sure to don’t come back! Just one question, who are some of the others?
Yoshi Leader: All I know is one Yoshi that hangs around with Mario and the other is a blue Yoshi with sunglasses and a spiked neck brace.
Gonzales Jr.: Okay. I’m ready.
Yoshi Leader: Not just yet. You’ll need this piece. This one contains the power of electricity. You might need it.
Gonzales Jr.: Thanks a lot.
Yoshi Leader: It’s late you should rest here and begin tomorrow.
Gonzales Jr.: Thanks man.
