Fantasy: Wario stole a castle and Mario had to get him out. Apparently, he bullied Mario, claiming that Mario bullied him. However, he and his brother, Waluigi, decided to work their way up the corporate ladder by stealing money from baddies. OK, the two teams will ante up something.
Mitt: If you guys lose, you can be our lowly towel boys. Fair?
Wario: Sure, and if we win, we get to own your baseball team, OK?
Fantasy: Mmkay, here comes the referee. *Ref Nate enters the field*

Fantasy: And here we are again! Okeydoke, let’s get it on! The first team consists of the boy brought back via DNA, the girl of his dreams, and our technician and the ever-mysterious Koopatrol. Ladies and gents, Enigma!
Lava: OK guys, our first match in the Gold Star Tournament. Get psyched!
Domino: We can’t afford to lose in this one. Not after the qualifying rounds.
Elite Wizzerd: THE OPPONENTS SHALL BE SENT HOME CRYING.
Koopinator: Such rowdy morons would not dare dream of getting the Gold Star Cup.
Fantasy: A brief history on these characters...Lava Yosh barely survived a dark storm that destroyed a ship. When on Magmosis’s shores, an antimatter spike surged into him and eliminated him. He’s still here because an experiment used his blood. And Princess Domino...She’s from Jade Forest Isle of Flower Isles. She and Lava knew each other way back. Elite Wizzerd...He used to work at the Pit of 100 Trials. They get paid big coins for taking out victims. But ever since Mario beat him in Paper Mario 2 to reach Bonetail, he resigned and worked as this place’s technician, but also became a fighter again. Koopinator, he keeps to himself. Rumor has it that his ancestors reigned in England as the peacekeeper warriors, which explains his mystic Eglish accent.
Nate: Hurry! We don’t have all day!
Fantasy: Sorry. And the other guys, they ride on a little scarlet red train--as red as opponents are whenever they even hear the leader’s name--they ride the Loco Express! We give you the Fun-Time Masters, led by Booster!

Fantasy: Not much is known about Booster, except he got dropped on the head as a child. That or his childhood involved power lines and paint “potato chips”. Leaning to that one.

King Boo: Eyeball cereal? Sucking out souls?! What, you think we’re scary ghouls?!!...Well, yeah, we are, but we’re not ghouls about it!
Fantasy: King Boo used to be one of Bowser’s most tenacious bad guys, until someone in green beat him bad with a vacuum cleaner. Ever since--

Fantasy: Whoops. Anyway, we give you the two friends of celadon color, one with the blindingly shiny hair and the other’s lean, not so mean, and his fireballs are green. Here’s the Green Machines, Peasley and Luigi!

Peasley: What up, Yoshi’s Corner!
Fantasy: Story of Luigi--he’s not as well-known as Mario, but he still does his share. In fact, he beat King Boo single-handedly with a vacuum. Peasley is the prince of the Beanbean Kingdom. He makes his own hair gel using his favorite regular brand and adding glitter and chrome-effect solution.
