Moshi's Past, present, and soon to be future...

I know, I suck at writing. I know, I am a procrastinator BUT hopefully I get this done. This will clear up a bit on her past, and also a new look that will occur soon, sorta dramatic but goes with her storyline. May 6-7 to be exact. Anyway, I'll do it just for the fun of it. =P

Part 1: Past
Chapter 1: A start of a new life

A young Yoshi lived on a small island just off of Yoshi Island, it was called 'Animaga(An-may-guh) Island' for a reason. The Yoshi's that originated there had special gifts, to turn into animals, and at the age of 10, a dragon of some sort. This was no different for Moshi, a normal spring green Yoshi, usually found wearing pink of some sort, now at the age of 7, when things went wrong.

It was just another day for her, playing with friends. They were playing with a ball that Moshi's parents had given her. Her, and all her friend were clueless of what was happening off into the village. Now here is where it all went wrong. Shoushi (it was an island thing with everyone ending with 'oshi' or 'shi') came by, with an emotionless face. He spoke with a deep voice, "I am sorry, but I will have to take Moshi to her house, now." Now, Shoushi was an important person in Moshi's life, and he knew very well that she would not take this well. Moshi obeyed, and followed, bring the toy ball with her while her friends decided to play a nice game of tag instead.

When she arrived at the spot where he had taken her, it was very unfamiliar. There were houses destroyed, some burning, Yoshi's trying to uncover what was underneath what she guessed to be the remains of their own houses. But the one she was standing in front of, was hers. Her heart raced as she figured out what he was telling her. "Moshi," Shoushi put a hand on her shoulder, but she broke away. "They're......... gone...." Moshi said, quivering. Before Soushi could say anything she ran, still holding the toy ball in her arms. She ran to the one place, besides home she knew best, the jungle.

Moshi ran deep into the jungle, tears forming but she didn't cry. She ran to a spot she always went to, a pond that was covered all around with flowers of all sorts. She needed a spot to think. Moshi lay on the grass on the edge, looking into her own reflection. Stray tears ran down her cheek, dropping into the lake. She watched as ripples grew bigger, and bigger until they disappeared. "Ya know...... I can make your troubles disappear," a childlike yet scary voice said. Moshi jumped and turned around. A purple monster like thing was staring at her with glowing eyes.

"Who are you?"

Part 1: Past
Chapter 2: Best friends forever

The weird creature looked at me like he had never seen a Yoshi before. "The name's Korik," he smiled, and, it was kind of scary. "C-can you rea-really, h-help?" Moshi managed to say between small gasps of air. He seemed friendly enough for it. "Of course, you can leave it all to me," Korik put a hand on her shoulder. It was as cold as ice. "Wh-what are y-you?" She asked out of curiosity. He gave a sigh, but said nothing but, "Follow me."

He jumped so suddenly Moshi almost fell into the pond, but maintained balance. She figured he was taking her to a better place to talk about it, so followed. She turned into a small monkey. Her Yoshi color, a spring green, remained though. One of the problems of her kind. She swung through the branches with ease, and he remained in front, jumping and leading her.

After a while of jumping, he landed in a part of the jungle unknown to her. One small house was built it a tree high above ground. Korik flew up, and again, she followed. Turning swiftly in a humming bird, she flew up and landed inside the tree house. "Where are we?" Moshi asked after turning back to her Yoshi state. "We're home. Your home," Korik said. Moshi was shocked by his statement. "What about;" Moshi started. "No, your home is gone. Your friends will soon be gone to."

"WHAT!" Moshi screamed. "Moshi, your town is getting attacked by a force greater than you can imagine," Korik said plainly. "Then why did you save me..." Moshi said, trying to hold back tears of fear and anger. This was all happening all so fast. Korik sighed. "With what happened, you seemed like a good choice of heart," Korik smiled. "And you would make a great friend." Moshi had now, two options. A)Go back home and be killed, or B)Stay with a good friend that can help you forget all about pain. And, Moshi being Moshi, she chose B...

"Yeah, you will too."

Really? Heh, that's the first time I've been called that. ;D

Nice chapter again. I like how this is going, it's nicely written! I wonder what comes next (and yes, I know just how evil writer's block can be.)

Part 1: Past
Chapter 3: Nothing lasts forever...

Now, ever since that day, Moshi and Korik have became close friends. They both lived alone, in the jungle for years. He had even taken her to Halloween Town I time or two for some sort of celebration. Moshi had not forgotten the pain and suffering that had happened though, from when her parents died. Almost everyday she had asked Korik to do what he said he would do, take away the pain. But, every time it was the same, 'Not yet, it's not time.' It was now Moshi's 10^th birthday, three years later.

"Hey Korik," Moshi said, eating the fruits on the table for breakfast, "You know what today is." Korik smiled. "Of course, I could never forget your birthday. This year, I have a very special gift too, but we need to go somewhere first. Now finish up and I'll show you!" He stood ready at the door as Moshi swallowed the fruit whole and went outside with him. "Where are you taking me?" Moshi asked, impatient. "You'll see," Korik answered and said nothing more.

They walked for about 45 minutes until they reached a spot that was familiar to her. A toy ball was by a tree neat a pond. The same one she had when she first met him and after the death of her parents. "Wh-Why did y-you take me h-here?" She asked, very confused. A split second later she was being pinned against the tree, by Korik. She screamed out of fear. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Korik looked at her, as if he thought that she would like this. "I'm getting rid of your pain."

Moshi froze at his words. Fire felt like it was burning through her stomach, and it sort of was, in a way. She kicked and screamed, trying to break free, but he grabbed her tighter. What seemed like forever, he pulled back one of his hands, and stuck it where her heart was. This, did not cause physical damage, it was more like he was taking a part of her soul away, like the light inside of her. Then she felt something, calling out almost. While Korik got a grab on her 'heart' something was happening to her. Her nose grew long, into a snout. Her body grew long, claws grew on her hands and feet. Her tail has became long, tipped with fur. Korik had not expected this, and immediately threw his had out.

In his hand, was a part of her heart.

Part 1: Past
Chapter 4: Who am I?

Moshi wasn't used to dragon like powers, so everything was dizzy and confusing. She saw a purple blob, that she figured was Korik, and roared of anger. She attacked with claws, but clumsily missed and fell into the lake, as Korik made a run for it. As cold water hit her face, everything came back to her and turned back to a Yoshi. Moshi climbed out and fell on the ground. She was cold, not because of the water, but on the inside, like her body was being frozen inside out. She wanted to cry, but couldn't. Tears refused to form. She knew that this was Korik's fault. She wondered if he did anything to what she looks like, so took a glance in the lake. She looked the same. She had the same pink heart shirt she had on this morning and jeans. Well, she looks the same now...

Now, with no home to go to, Moshi went back to the house, hoping Korik wasn't there. He wasn't, so she took some of her belongings and left. She also stole Koriks map of Yoshi Island. She decided to go there since it was only a half a mile journey from Animaga Island. She flew there without a problem, but when she got there, she didn't know how expensive it was to build a house, live in it, or even how to survive in the city. (I want Yoshi Island to be a city. Got a problem with that?) So she has no home, no food, or water. So she did the only thing she can do to survive there...

"AHH!" A young Yoshi, around the age of 15, was pulled into a dark ally, finding himself only a few feet away of a fist, and then being beat up by, a tiger? A green tiger. Moshi reached in a pocket with her hand and pulled out all of his coins. "Now, what to do with you. We can't have you going around telling others, now would we?" Moshi was shocked at how scary she sounded. She has never sounded like that before. The Yoshi did not answer, and he never will answer anyone again.

He was dead in seconds...

Wow, pretty extreme. Now I'm very intrested, and must know what happens next!

Yu gi oh? You know when Yami Yugi uses his mind crush power to remove part of a person's soul its a bit like when Korik does it.

Part 2: Present
Chapter 5: Transformation

Over the past few years, Moshi has been stealing and killing all throughout Yoshi Island. She has became one of the most wanted people for killing about 37 Yoshi's on Yoshi Island, almost never to be caught. If she had got caught, which has happened once or twice, it meant death to the ones who had caught her. How? Well, over the years her heart has been vanishing, a little at a time. Six months after her birthday, she had accidentally discovered shadow like powers coming from her hand when she was mad.

The shadow was so cold, her hand was feeling as if it would fall off. She threw it at the ground, only to find it create a puddle of darkness on the ground. After that she created special gloves to protect her hands, and use it as a weapon, for it hand sharp claws at the tips of her fingers. She tried to master the powers, getting hurt several times. Once she discovered the shadow whip, she accidentally hit herself, causing a weird effect. Her heart shirt had turned black, the heart changed its look. It looked like the heart Korik had on him.

On her 11^th birthday, she woke up in pain. Her back was sore and she couldn't get up. She felt something under her back, so she reached to touch it to see what it was. She felt something flat, and pinched it. "EEP!" She said, not so quietly, just to find out that she had wings. They were big, and heavy. They felt weird to her. Sure, she turned into a bird, bat, and other animals like that, but the wings weren't as big and they were attached to their arms. She had learned to live with it, and it doesn't hurt as bad. She couldn't fly with them, but glide or stop her from falling...

Moshi walked on the roofs on Yoshi Island at night. The cool breeze blown against her. It was almost her birthday, and she expected another transformation to happen. Her heart is almost gone, she will look different or have a different power. Maybe she'll die. All she really knew was that her story will not have a happy ending. Her birthday will change her life completely.

She was right.

Part 2: Present:
Chapter 6: Another day

It was another day on Yoshi Island. Another day being hunted down by police. Another day closer to her birthday. She ran down the streets, pocket full of stolen munny (Using the KH type of money), being chased by a couple of police Yoshies. She easily got away and slipped into the shadows. But now the shadows didn't only belong to her, but Nobodies did too. Nobodies (they are shells that lack hearts) are one of the Heartlesses main enemies. When Moshi dived into the shdows, a Nobody was there but Moshi easily destroyed it. They were nothing but an anoyance but some aren't that easy.

"Dang Nobodies! Those creeps are everywhere! If I ever get my claws on whoever is responsible, they'll never see the light of day!" Moshi pounded the wall out of anger. She may of hated them, but she was kind of jealous, though she would never admit it. "At least they still know what it feels like to have a heart, but nooooo, they want more than that. Heartless don't feel anything, so why are they complaining!" Moshi sat on the ground, thinking, while someone else thinks differently...

"Stupid Heartless!" A young Yoshi said as he pounded the wall in his room. "They go around just stealing peoples hearts, like it was perfectly okay!" He was a Yoshi, but also part Nobody, who wasn't meant to exist appearently. "Why can't they all just go away! They have no idea how hard it is, having to try and find their true form, and then just dissapearing! At least the Heartless still exist, but of corse they want more! In fact, all they ever do is want and take!" This Yoshi, too lived on Yoshi Island. He had a grey shirt, with this[ftp]http://img506.imageshack.us/img506/4881/xiiiorderlogo6co.png[/ftp] sign on him. He had large, angel wings too. What he didn't know is that a Heartless;

Lived right next to him.

Good chapter but I still don't quite understand the Nobodies thing.
So let me get this straight, Nobodies are enemies with the Heartless and the Heartless go around stealing people's hearts/souls? Could you explain this to me?
