I dunno if that's a good title, but it'll do. Haven't written something in 1st person for a while... Told by Toshigau when he's a lot older than you all know him now. LEVEL UP ! ! Much later after the war of the elements. That won't be made until I make all my stories regarding the elemental Yosters. There's not many, but enough to take a few months or even years. Anyway. Hope you enjoy it. Double-scoop ice cream (If you read, it would be most appreciated if you commented, I worked hard on this fic and I'd like to hear all the peoples' comments. LEVEL UP ! !)

Sometimes, things can't be the way they used to. Sometimes...things will change for better, or for worse. Maybe a mix of the two depending on the situation. In my case, it would be the latter. A story of how I changed dramatically. Of course, my other siblings changed not long afterwards and the strange thing is that it went by age. Me, then Boshi, Trenshi...uhh...yeah. I'm rambling again. Hmm, it wasn't too long ago...I think it was sometime during the Snowing Season...
I woke up, yawned, stretched, and got up to do the average things most people do in the morning. Brush your teeth, eat breakfast...maybe take a shower...or just get Boshi to hose me down. But was cold and snowing, the fifth day in a row. The snow was stacked so high and a lot of people said it was my fault. "Just because I can make ice out of the water in the air and stuff, doesn't mean I can control the weather," I thought aloud to myself while kicking the snow. The wind started to pick up and blow to the south. I shivered, squinting my eyes while looking towards where the wind was blowing. "Brr...why am I cold?" I rubbed my shoulders, went inside to grab Boshi's sweater, and looked out the window. "That was a rather strong wind out there..." I picked up the kettle of Koopa Tea that was whistling and poured a glass. I sighed while looking out the window and took a sip, "Wait...is that a..." I quickly went outside, noticing the wind was blowing about sixty mph. I squinted through the blizzard once more and nearly screamed at what I saw. I rushed back inside and yelled for Yoshi. "Yoshi!! CYCLONE! Get out here!" I waited for him to come down the stairs. Nothing. "Yoshi!? Yo!" Still nothing. I ran up and slammed open the door. Yoshi was sitting on his bed, reading a book without a care in the world. "YOSHI!!!" He flipped a page and continued reading casually. "What're you doing??" I heard someone clearing their throught behind me and turned around. "I'm afraid he can't hear you dear boy." The white shyguy was standing there in the doorway. "He can't hear, or see you I'm afraid." He took a puff off his pipe and scratched his head. I gave him a weird look, "What're you talking about old man?" The shyguy sighed, "It seems it's time for your second test of the elements my boy," he replied as he parted the curtain revealing the ominous twister, "Noone can see that or feel its presence at the moment."
I scratched my head and snorted, "Get to the point." He let go of the curtain and mumbled, "Your never going to be able to join your parents in that war if you don't spiff up, whot." I sighed, rolling my eyes as he cleared his throught again. "It's time you learned to master your second element." He paced back and forth with a serious tone in his voice. "You wonder why there are so many storms ever since your birthday, whot?" I nodded, still confused. "Your new element is trying to tell you to master it, if you don't stop that storm with said element, the village will be destroyed...unfortunately." I snarled and pointed at the storm outside. "What kind of tests are these supposed to be!? What sort of maniac make these stupid so called 'tests,' we always have to go through huh!?" The old shyguy turned his back on me and sighed, "Your father. Now, Pay attention. I'm going to teach you the Secret of the Storm." I was shocked, "Our...father?"
Of course, I have to keep the secret to master the storms to me and me alone, I can tell noone. So what happened next is classified. After the old man was through with his lecture about the different techniques, he dissappeard as usual. I sighed and went outside to face up to the cyclone. "Okay...hmm. What was it..." I touched the ground to gather up a platform of snow and rode up over the clouds. "There it is, the eye." I rode over the twisting hole in the clouds and braced myself. "Ehh...ah...okay." I took a few deep breaths and pushed my arms forward. That's when it happened. It felt totally different from the first time I tried to master the element of Ice. It seemed as if I was being pushed away from the storm, like when you meet the same poles of a magnet with another. I saw two groups of lightning bolts rushing up to meet my hands and braced myself for the impact. I felt a tremendous force with a combination of heat push my arms back. I held it there for a while, measuring how much power I could take to send it back. There was thunder all around me and electricity flying everywhere, yet it seemed to recochet off of me. I felt two spheres of electricity forming in my palms. "Okay...it's time," I said as I closed my hands around the spheres of energy and breathed in deeply. The cyclone became faster and shrink in size, which only meant that it was reaching its limit. "I supposed this is what he meant when it gets 'angry'..." I took my chance and put excess amounts of energy from my own body into the spheres of electrifying energy. It felt as if I was being pulled into them because of the powerful magnetic force. I quickly threw them into the cyclone and watched from my platform to see the results as they spun around, sucking the storm inside them. I was exausted and amazed at how much energy it took me to stop the storm. I smiled, satisfied as the storm dissipated completely then pulled the spheres back into my grasp and let them fuse back into my body, feeling three times more lively than before I started. This was because of the extra energy of the storm, of course. I lowered myself back to the ground and crumbled the platform back into soft, white snow.
I fell back into the snow, panting, still exausted from the feat I had just achieved. Yoshi came running over, flailing his arms like a maniac. "Dude! What happened out here!? I heard a loud crack of thunder and looked out the window," he took a breath before continuing, "Dude, there was a freaking cyclone out here! I came out but it had already started to calm. Why are your clothes all burnt?" I burst out laughing, wallowing in the snow. Yoshi took a few steps back. "You've finally lost it haven't you? I knew it. No more late night marathons of Invader Zim for you." I sighed as my brother dragged me back to the house by my tail. I bent my head back and saw the old shy guy standing in the place where I was lying. He nodded and walked off into the distance, dissapearing again. I smiled and let my head drag in the soft snow until it hit a log burried in the snow. "OW!" "Your so pathetic." He dropped me there and I felt myself sink into the snow. I sat back up and rubbed my head, then headed for the porch to take a well deserved nap.
Not long after, my other siblings learned a secondary ability as well. The old man taught each one of us the secrets of the elements, then pit us against another test where we had to work together with our newfound abilities to overcome all the obstacles. But, that's a story for another time. For now, I'm going to go put on a kettle of Koopa Tea and look through some family photos. Ciao.
