Man, I HATE these emoticons, I see them on almost every site I visit... And they're very, very fugly!!:  Anybody have a similar opinion? Feel free to post in this thread any other ugly/ridiculous/stupid or otherwise notorious ads that you've come across (just don't post anything inappropriate please). Here's another stupid ad that I came across on eBay (Say hello to HULKwoman):  The sofa in the back makes her look like she has HUGE arms!! LOL! |

Yes, I find that emo banner the worst of them all. Makes me want to crawl up into a corner and shrivel up. There's animated ones too.

Boy, I'm glad I switched to Firefox.
Don't like an ad?
Just right-click and block all images from its server!
That combined with the fact that I don't have the Flash plugin installed has made surfing the web so much more enjoyable.

I found the adblock extension more effective than that, actually. Unless I can find a way to block iframes and other such things without it  |
