I heard that you can change Yoshi into so many colours rather than the Purple, Pink and Orange colours, do any of you know how to get him into other colours? I did hear that it can be done! A friend of mine got his to be brown once, but didnt know how he did it!

yellow, there is a yellow color. you must lick up a big, not small pineapple, and yoshi turns yellow.

Mario turns brown from the sludge so maybe that is how you get yoshi brown.

I think there's something about getting Yoshi in the water to turn him green, then getting him out again before he dies/dematerialises/whatever. I'm not sure, though, and I never managed it myself.

As far as I know, the only "real" colours in the game are Purple Orange and Pink.
Its probably impossible to get Green, as you instantly fall of as Yoshi poofs away anyway. Although, with some creative Action Replaying you could probably do it... but most likely not thorugh any "proper" methods.

The only other color i have gotten was green. But it wasn't like you could play with it. You wait for yoshi to run low on juice so he starts to blink green. Then you can either talk to someone and he'll stay green WHILE YOU ARE TALKING or you can get him blinking away again and get a shine sprite or blue coin and he'll stay green DURING THE SCENE WHEN YOU GET THE SPRITE or he'll stay green WHILE THE MESSAGE ON THE BLUE COIN IS STILL THERE. Those are the only ways you can (temporarily) have a green yoshi. (unless there's some sort of game shark cheat for it) I foung getting there rather easy if you're patient.... but beating the mimi-game is a whole other thing.

if youve seen screen shots, i could be people just faking it, and coloring the yoshi a different color
