SMS stands for Super Mario Sunshine. Technically, I know how to get a yoshi, a choice of a fruit, but how do I make him into a green yoshi? I heard that he exists as a green yoshi.

Only if you run out of juice.
Then he only lasts for a few seconds before he vanishes.
If you had an Action Replay, you could probably hack it so he stays green...

wasnt this question already asked? i think someone replyed that you have to jump in and out of water very quickly, altho that dosent sound like it would work. check here before anything: www.gamefaqs.com |

as soon as you get deepenough in the water, you get thrown off and yoshi vanishes...
theres probably no way to do this other than an Action Replay

yes, your probably right. i dont trust those though. even when i used the one made for zelda, windwaker, ooc, and oocmq, i never use my memory card

There are two (maybe three) ways to get Yoshi green without Action Replay, but it isn't really much.
First method- Get next to a shine sprite with yoshi. When he starts to lose his color and flash green, get the shine sprite. Mario and Yoshi will then do their thing when they get a shine sprite, and yoshi will be green. And he wont just be flashing. But when you end up at Isl Delfino, yoshi won't be there,
Second Method- Get next to a person with yoshi. When he starts to loose his color and turn green, talk to the person. Yoshi will be green, and not just flashing, while you talk to the person. And, you know how Yoshi can spray his colored juice at someone when you talk to them? Well, if you spray juice at the person, it won't be colored. It will just be water.
(possibly) third method- Same as first method, except with a blue coin.
I found out about all these, so I garantee the first two will work. (unless your game is messed up or something) I don't know about the third one though. I can't really test it out either since I've found all the blue coins.
