I need to know how to get Celebi in Pokemon Crystal.

this question ever repeats itself! ok, heres what ive read: in the japinise game (i dont know about the american version) if you went to golden rod, if you went to golden rod and traded at the time machine, you would see a poster on the wall that said somthing about celebi. after you read the poster, and walked outside, the nurse would ask if you were interested in celebi, and give you a certain stone. you would take the stone to the forest (gosh its been awhile, someone help me out?) and to the misterious shrine. then you would have a battle with celebi. i also heard, (cj, correct me if im wrong) that if you catch all the unknowns in alphebitical order (each unkown represents a letter) and go to the labatory right outside of were you catch the unknows (someone help me again, like i said, its been awhile) and show the man inside your unknowns, then the machine will work or somthing, and you can climb inside, and find celebi. if all else fails, i suggest trying your luck here: www.gamefaqs.com |

Catching all the Unowns doesn't work. The machine will work but it only allows you to print the Unowns.

I never knew about collecting the Unknowns and being able to get Celibi. Anyways, if you want to keep the cheating to a minimum, use Gameshark, Action Replay ect. to get the GS ball, then put it into the shrine. And Red, you don't get a stone. you get the GS ball
