Hey, on Paper Mario 2 : The Thousand-Year-Door, does anybody have any tips on defeating the boss on the island level. I can not remember his name, but he is nothing but a skull with four weapons. Any tips or tricks?

Yo mean Cortez
Well He has a 20 hp but he can regain his HP and transform. Well Equip the Spike Badge and Power Bounce Badge to jump on Cortez's Bone pile, dealing more damage. When he charges, use Vivian's Veil to hide. When he has the four swords, use Art Attack to dispose the swords for a few turns. Then Keep Attacking.
I recommend using Power Lift on your first turn to get a good power-up. And don't forgot to use any Plus Badges. I haven't played the game in a while so this is all I can give. I forgot to ask, what is your HP and FP. try to get them at least over 25 or higher and have a bunch of Mushrooms and Syrups. You can get a Wacka Bump by going where the water is and go up. You'll see him, hit him with a hammer. It's a must have. That's it. Try it and tell me how did it go.

Thanks for your advice! I am really sorry it took so long to reply, I've been quite busy. Well I was able to use Flurrie's Gale Force to rid the weapons and just finished him off with Art Attack and several other various attacks. Now I am on Day 3 of the Train... fighting that weird, black boss.
