Soul, it was never a matter of respect in my eyes when it came to the original issue.
I would still prefer the files be removed after all that has been said, however so long as my credit is in place, it is not an issue I have any desire to pursue or make trouble over. I do appreciate your decision in this regard and have to give you credit and respect for that.
The important thing is that the younger people who didn't get to see these shows when they were originally aired can now do so and us old timers can also view them with our rose tinted glasses on.
I do feel happy to know people can enjoy what I put a lot of time and effort into and that they have a rough idea who is responsible for them.

Regarding a promise, I must be honest. I do not know what it is you want me to promise myself.
You do realise I had no part at all in the pictures being sent to Joshi?
All I did was try to help and defend my friend and I'm afraid I can't promise to never do that again. Generally I try to help people wherever I can, especially my friends.
So I can not make a promise when I do not know what it is you want from me.
If you want nothing more to be said about this issue, then I promise that I will not mention any of this again so long as my credit remains in place and this whole fiasco is put behind us.

I cannot speak for Koshi, but I suspect it depends what the promise is.
If it is the original promise you asked for in the emails, that she does not show such images to anyone she has had contact with/met through this site, I suspect the answer will still be no.
However, if the promise is as you have said in this thread:
"that she was not going to show adult stuff anymore to people that she met through my site without warning them first"
Then this may be acceptable to her.
But please bear in mind that an awful lot of things were said, especially about her that she may just not be able to forgive. I know you don't really think you have been very insulting or offensive yourself but most feel there was no justification for it to be so personal.

I am willing to forget being called immature, childish, stupid, pathetic, whiney, worthless, arrogant and the rest throughout of this.
But please remember that you said all that and a lot more about Koshi which cannot be dismissed so easily.

Sorry if that isn't everything you want to hear, but I don't know what else to say. =/

That surprises me. It was an issue with respect because I was requiring Koshizu to respect my visitor's peace of mind by warning them of the content of her links before giving them out. I first became aware of Koshizu's tendency to not respect others (and her short temper) when I requested the people of this board not to say that their own art sucked, which I did long ago. She refused to follow that suggestion and even scolded me for it. That time I swallowed my anger completely because I was very grateful of her previous support. But her frequent negative criticism (and very infrequent true praising) of other user's artworks suggested the same thing. So it really was of no surprise that she didn't want to change her ways a little, for the sake of others.

I only require you (Bryan) to drop the issue. But Koshizu is required to promise this:

"She must promise to never show images with sexual/mature/yiff content to any current users of my site against their will or without warning them first".

I originally didn't specify the "against their will or without warning them first" part because I didn't think anyone in this site would want to see these things.

But please remember that you said all that and a lot more about Koshi which cannot be dismissed so easily

I know I did. I shouldn't have done that, but unfortunately my emotions took over because of the nature of this problem. I have an extreme hate for these things, and it was only natural that I couldn't write a nice-sounding email dealing with the issue, especially because of how responsible I felt towards Joshi because of what I had suggested to his parents about letting him use the internet more. I was extremely upset about this problem, but I was holding my anger as much as I could in the first email. But when I received Koshizu's first response, in which she said she wasn't going to promise anything, I broke loose. It was impossible for me to hold my anger any longer. In fact... I delayed my email to Koshizu on purpose by about 5 weeks because it took me that long to cool off enough to not yell my lungs out. I EVEN did some research about why some people like these horrible things, in an effort to understand her better and thus reduce my anger. And it did reduce my anger very significantly, but it was still not enough. Well, at least I tried. I'm not expecting her to promise anything, but I'm letting her know just in case she does. Bah, I'm almost sure she's not going to promise anything anyway.

I apologize to you Bry for all the things I said and for not respecting your credits. And I will apologize to Koshizu the day she makes her promise.

I'm not promising anything. Not after whats been said/done over the past few days. I still think I've been backed into a corner with all this and showered with lies, but I shan't repeat myself over and over.

Although, one thing I shall promise, is that you'll never see me around YoshiArt.com or these forums ever again. Not as if I was here in the first place, but...you can be at peace of mind knowing I'm gone forever.

Stupid I've had to say goodbye a total of three times already...so I'll just say this is the last message I'll ever write upon these boards, I hope everyone has a happy future, and whatnot. Now you can ensue the barrage of comments about me which I no longer can or will retaliate.
