Hey, I'm back after my long hiatus. I was just wondering, on Paper Mario 2 I am at the very end. All I have to do is defeat Peach. Well she keeps killing off my parters just like that, and I can get rid of her first form, but NOTHING affects her second form. I have tried everything. Any advice?

as far as I can remember you just need to attack (NOT defend) and not get killed for a few turns.
after that there should be a long and unskipable cutscene, then you should be able to damage her.
after that, the Power Up special move is your best friend

This may sound weird but try to equip a few Power Jump, Power Smash, Attack Plus Badges. I did this and my Power Jump Attacks was at 20. If you have a lot equip, be careful, try to see how much FP you spend, practice on a easy enemy, because when I equiped like somewhere inbetween 7 and 10, I had to pay 120 FP. Try up to 5. Don't forget, HP Plus, Defend Plus, FP Plus, and Power Bounce. Be careful, use Power Jump or Smash Wisely because it can and will drain 10 - 20 FP so have alot of Jammin' Jellys or Maple Syrup, and Ultra Shrooms. How much HP, FP, and BP you have anyway?

For this startegy, it's mandatory you have Quick Change. You may also need Power Up, Power Up P, Defend Up, Defend Up P, Happy Heart, Happy Heart P, Happy Flower, Pretty Lucky, Pretty Lucky P, and Lucky Day(maybe). DON'T use Zap Tap. It never works here. OK, for Shadow Peach(first form), just attack, attack, attack. And let your first partner move be Goombella's Tattle, so you can keep an eye on the witch's Heart Points. I'd recommend using Art Attack at least, since she's small enough for about 5 full encasements. When she begins her actual form, she's immortal, thus impervious. Have the partner attack, and Mario use Sweet Treat if needed. DON'T USE FP HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. After 3 turns of attack on her, Shadow Queen will drain your audience. (She's really trapping them below the stage, stealing their snacks to restore HP, they return in the second phase) Now the big dramatic cutscene with the Crystal Stars. The shattering you see on Shadow Queen is that her "immortality" has been eliminated. Then Peach gives you the last of her power, thus restoring you completely. Start this phase with a Supernova, and do some Appeals later on, and then do Earth Tremor. After that, use normal moves. The 3 Bingo Icons will always be Shine Sprites, so your HP, FP, Star Points, and audience will all come back to the scene. Should Shadow Queen charge up, have Mario use an attack, then have Vivian use Veil. As for when Shadow Queen has both her hands up, use an attack, special move, or item that will deal at least 5 damage to every target. Earthquakes are potentially cheap. As for Dead Hands(the hand cluster), Hammers can't reach the stupid things. Have Mario do a good Jump on 'em. If you have a Power Up on, it'll do 4 damage per hit, KOing them for a while. There you have it. My fingers hurt.

That's funny? Then this is funny too: I beat her with 4 badges on my first try..and without using any items either. I'm begining to wonder now how I did it.

for this fight you need to have the doble item sack filled with 5ultra shrooms, 5life shrooms, 5jammin' jellys, and 5 super shrooms. you need to be lvevl 24 or higher and have 5 of your partners at 2 shines rank. now when she just turs in to her second form, you can't harm her, but after she eats the audiance your partner will talk and the battle will stop. now use these attacks, mario:spring jump, sweet feast,or supernova. goombella:heal with items or multibonk koops:heal, shell shield, power shell,or shell slam flurie:heal or body slam yoshi:ground pound, heal, mini egg,or stampead vivian:shade fist, heal,or firey jiynx bobery:bob-omb blast, heal,or bomb mrs.mouze:heal, tease,or love slap and with that you will beat her:)

Special moves! Special moves! XD
What I did: Just keep hitting her with the Power Smash (I only had one PS badge equipped), switch partners right before they get KO'd. Keep your Star power up, and use your Special moves often. ^^

What I did extended my battle a few turns, but I did win.
I put Koops in back and Mario in front. I shell shielded Mario and then let Mario attack, usually the shell would get destroyed every time the queen attacked, but sometimes it wouldn't. I eventually beat her but I had to cast some sweet treats to restore FP sometimes.

Alright, I think I have a pretty good strategy going on, some of these badges ARE hard to find though.
Around the stats needed: 30-40 health'll do ya. 25FP (I have a strat which uses nearly no FP) and a LOT of badge points (50+)
Equip three attack badges to Mario and if you can get them, three on your partner, then two defence badges on Mario (should take 44 badge points right there)
Power bounce (I think...the one which you may bounce until you miss...it has potential), Hammer throw (I highly recommend), charge P. Piercing blow (ANIHILATES through defence) These should take 4 badge points.
Happy heart and happy heart P (useful, takes 4BP total), FLOWER SAVER AND FLOWER SAVER P (I have two equipped on Mario and two P's right now, I use nearly NO fp). I think that comes down to...20BP for those.
So, you can slack off on a few badge points, but if you follow these, you use 68 badge points, this IS worth it in the end. Or at least I thik it's 68, maybe less.
First, you put Mario up front (he has the most defence badges and can stand his own for now).
Goombella is useful because: Her kiss allows Mario to attack twice, potentially being able to Sweat Treat and attack every turn, not taking damage really at all and being able to use LOTS of FP freely.
Koops's shell shield is useful too. Allow Mario to attack the shadow queen without being hit...only koops tends to flip, unless you guard well.
Vivian: Being able to burn comes in handy, and Veiling is useful!!
Yoshi: Combine it with Mario's powerlift and try to strike +3 attack and use ground pound...combining with a CHARGE attack totals you at +5...DEADLY ATTACKS!! Ground pound will damage like: 6,5,4,3,2,1 instead of 2,1,1,1,1,1...without the charge works too, but better with.
Bobery: the All stage attack is a deadly force...combined with FP savers, a nice combo!!
Flurrie: Good to shield Mario with, and keep kissing that queen for her health! Flurrie loses little, and Queen gets hit!
I like yoshi personally, but that's me.

I actually did this without partner's help, it was easier since she had less people to suck HP from for her own. Listen to what everyone else has said, I wish I would've read this, that fight would've been a lot easier! But I do suggest getting the item upgrade from the Pit of 100 Trials first. Basically, fifty levels down, after fighting enemy after enemie, you get this item that lets you carry 20 items instead of just 10. And also, if you're low on coins, just beat Rawk Hawk a bunch of times, he's pretty weak and you get 20 coins as well as star points every time you beat him, so you might just level up in the process. Hope this helps! (If you haven't beaten her already! ) And can someone help me? I've been wondering where you get Cake Mixes from, I've beaten the game and I can't find even a single one. Does that one lady make them? (Can't remember her name) The one who is basically a copy of Tayce T. If so, what do you make it with?

The Boo in the cage gives you prizes if you get a certain amount. I know it's confusing, but I haven't played it in a month XD. The first prize, for 6 coins, is Cake Mix, though. That's the only way I know of how to get it.

Definetaly a good one...there's a badge I know of that let's you suceed action commands easier, but reduces star power given. If you can get a hand on that badge and combine with power jump, you could jump a LOT longer!!
