The game definitely looks fun. I loved Paper Mario for 64, and this is just like a normal mario game with the paper mario art style, correct?

So it appears. But it also looks like an actual Paper Mario game. I wonder if Goombella makes a cameo? That would be cool. But why make it for the Gamecube when they're about to launch the Wii?

I guess they don't want to forget about the gamecube, even though the Wii plays Gamecube disks.

Shouldn't this belong in general gaming, not questions? XD
Anyways I think this game looks great! I loved Paper Mario for the 64, and I loved the Thousand Year Door for Gamecube. I also hope it's an actual Paper Mario game, not just a regular Mario game with Paper Mario style. I love rpgs.

Shouldn't this belong in general gaming, not questions? XD ... I knew that. My bad. It seems like the majority of the game will be side-scrolling... But the ray gun sounds cool XD Mario's ability means the game does have the paper-quality, at least.

*sigh* Too bad it's not going to be an RPG...Oh well, just because it's not, doesn't mean that it's not gonna be good.

You mean it's not an RPG? I thought it would be, and it's for Gamecube as well?

You mean it's not an RPG? I thought it would be, and it's for Gamecube as well? OOh, check the date :/ Last post was from June of last year! And I don't think It's fer the gamecube though. Only for Wii. It may be though, I'm not sure...well...I don't really understand how something is to be called a "Role Playing Game" so...I don't know. I just know that there are no turnbased battles.

Bumped, haha.
But while I'm at it, no, it's only for the Wii. My mom took me out today and we looked for one while we were out, and I checked about the game. I think you need the Wiimote in order to make the screen change from 2-D to 3-D. I can't see someone doing that with a Gamecube controller.

Well, pushing a button on the Wiimote does that, but there are a few parts which make use of the Wiimote, such as some items that require you to shake the Wiimote to activate them.
The game is really fun, though. Played it for 7 hours straight the day I got it, which is something I haven't done since Paper Mario 64. XD
