I'm thinking of buying Pikmin tomorrow, but I heard it's hard. Is it worth buying? What's it like?

It's a good game, Pikmin 2 is probably a better bet to get because it's easier and, in my opinion, more fun to play. Pikmin one is still a quaility game and worth the buy.

Well, it's a really fun game, the only problem is, when you beat it.It gets like...to a very minimal amout of fun.In Pikmin 2, it's pretty much more fun than one.Even if you think you've beaten it, it's still fun.Wow...I used the word fun to much...anyways.I'd suggest you'd get number one first.So you'd know the story.Sure, it explains a little on P2, but not much...

Pikmin is my favorite strategy game. And they keep referring to it in Nintendogs XD
Pikmin 2 is easier because there's no time limit, but you have to keep track of how many of each color Pikmin you have a lot more. And there's the holes, where you can't come out unless you entirely give up and want to leave.
The first Pikmin is strictly one-player, as well, unlike Pikmin 2. But you can just pick out your colors of Pikmin and know you'll probably be okay. Depends on which kind of strategy you like better.
