Before I rush off and buy it, I want to know what it's like and if it's worth it. I just made a little list of the questions I'd most like answered.
What's the Wi-Fi like? Can you team up or something using Wi-Fi? Can you change your class or anyone in your party change their class? After you've beaten it, is there any replay value? If there are Chocobos, can you ride them at will or what? How many Classes can you choose from?
That's about it. And if you can tell me any other interesting stuff about it, thanks a ton. After my questions've been answered, the mods can do whatever with the topic. Lock it, leave it up, it doesn't matter. Oh yeah. Happy New Year, YC! ^_^

Well, my cousin has it, and I've played mostly through it. (was on final boss) Sad to say though, i've never played the Wi-Fi....i'll answer the things I can...which is like... 3 of them
Yes, you can change your class. Anytime you want, except in a battle.
There are only a few places to get a chocobo, but sadly, the only place you can ride them is around the land. (because you need to get on ship most of the time)
There are about... 22 Classes, and 23 if you count the secret one.

It's really a hit or miss experience. If you're a fan of the classic, old school FF games, you'll love it. If it's your first venture into the FF series, you probably wouldn't like it so much.
As for some of your questions... The Wi-Fi, I'm afraid to say, can't be used for battles or anything. All it does is allow you to trade items and get optional bosses on your files. Aaand I found that kind of lame and a bit of a shock.
There is little to no replay value after you've beaten it.
