Looks alright. Not a lotta interesting content, but it has potential. Also, your link on the side is linking to a preview page or something.. which isn't right.

I hope you're ready for some constructive critisism.
Before I continue, what I say here is my absolute honest opinion, so I can lie, and not help you improve, or say what I feel and tell you what you can improve on.
You're a beginner to making sites as I can see and your knowledge of HTML is fairly limited. Honestly, your site does look quite bad, but hopefully, this will help you improve on that. There's the number one thing is you have to avoid and it's using the default fonts. You're currently using 'Times new roman' as your font. This in all honesty makes any site look quite bad because it's such a standardised font. If you've seen with my own personal site, 'Super PinkFloydYoshi World', I've used a slightly more attractive 'Arial', and created graphics for the entire site using a package called Adobe Photoshop. The official artwork is found using a press company I currently pay for content. Also, your grey background image. Yoshi fansites need to be bright and catch the visitors attention. My layout's a stripy blue. I've also been told it's a good clean and tidy layout by the only other staff member (YoshiWannabe) and Toshi. A good layout goes far. Content is very limited too. Users like a lot of content, but you've gotta be careful where you get it from. Don't take it from another fansite. That will start all sorts of problems, but ask first and see what they say.
Also, there's not much point in having an 'enter' page for a link to your forum from your site unless the user needs to know information such as forum rules before entering and registering.
Tidy up your links too. Make the banners match the colour of the background, and avoid using grey for your background, especially if you use an image. images of just one colour are useless. Just add to your code:
<body background-color: #B4B4B4>
It will load up much faster and visitors like that, especially the poor peeps with 56k internet access.

uhm... yes, that attribute is correct, except for one little thing... it's a CSS attribute. It will not work by itself inside an html tag ( however, it will work like this: <body style="background-color: #B4B4B4"> ). The html attribute for the document background color is "bgcolor". i.e.,: <body bgcolor=#B4B4B4> Poor girl, she was just happy that her site was back, and she received improvement suggestions instead ;

uhm... yes, that attribute is correct, except for one little thing... it's a CSS attribute. eugh, Thats playing with too many IPB skins that is. All those background-color: whatever's. Yeah, I was trying to give this topic some purpose. I think Tempest was trying to do the same. I've seen a lot worse. Miss Ching's is perfect compared to some I've seen.

I'm not saying it's perfect... I just thought it was a little bit harsh to say it that way, especially since she didn't even ask to have her site graded... But that's just me, never mind...
