I dont know how many topics we've had like this...but its getting stupid! If you want to make friends with someone, add them to your MSN or AIM buddy list and chat to them...usually it works wonders you know!

Well, it's what I did, add people and use my evil introduction XD, easy making friends, but not to spoil them, otherwise they won't get your trust. Wait... what?  |

Personally, If you think you've got no friends here, you're wrong. Posting topics like this isn't going to get you many though.
The best way is to talk to people across an instant messenger network such as MSN, AIM or Yahoo, but ask them before you add them to see if it's ok. If they reply "no", please appreciate their privacy. If they reply yes, then add them, and talk.
Talking to people more will get you everywhere, but put yourself in my positon when I first started here back in august last year. I didn't require the need to add anyone to my contact list.
Personally, you've just gotta get along with everyone on the site, and thats what I do. I don't add people to my MSN contact list, everyone seems to add me though...
I really don't want to see another thread like this because they scare some potential good members away.

By the way, for those who use school computers, you might find this helpful: webmessenger.msn.com/But, I don't condone it's usage in school since you're there to learn anyway, heh. No good asking friends on your contact list the answer to questions, because you're not learning yourself. I dunno wether anyone else had 'activity days' at school, but activity days happened not long before the 6 week holidays, and I had a full day of joy on the internet, so use it then. You're not learning anything on that day anyway. heh. Quoted from that very page: "Use it on any shared computer - at school, at work, at a friend's house or anywhere you can't install the MSN Messenger software." |
