Okay, I've got nothing better to do right now, so let's see if anybody can do this.
In Yoshi's Story you need, of course, to eat thirty fruits to clear a level. And with a little more difficulty, it's possible to get thirty melons.
BUT... can you get thirty apples?
It's possible in some levels, with 1-1 being the easiest.
Can you figure out how? Can you pull it off?

I just played Yoshi's Story again since like over half a year, which was probably the first time I played it, but only very little. And I must say, I got scared to death while playing. I mean, I don't understand why Yoshi would sometimes sparkle and be on some spooky acid trip like state, and the collecting 30 melons scene quite scared me the most. There were freaky hearts... everywhere!  But all in all, after witnessing all that weirdness, I'm up to your challenge, Fifth, once I find time  . EDIT: Okay, I kind of gone by level 1-1 for the first time... ever, I think. I only found like 5 or 6 apples and accidently swallowed some grapes. 30 apples you say!?  |

That sparkly state I think is from eating a super-happy fruit. It's kind of an invincability +.
And there were probably only 5 apples. If the apple were selected as the lucky fruit, there'd have been 10 of them instead.

Then how do you propose it's bloody possible to obtain thirty if... oh, you know, there exists not that many apples in that level? There must be some trick to this that I don't know of, like changing the fruit or something. I don't know, I haven't dug well into this game before. And I still say that invincibility state represents a complete acid trip, plus the trippy music.  Well, not literally, it just really looks as if it were to represent one. |

I don't think there is that many amount of apples in any stages. Maybe melons (perhaps) but not the other fruits. I think you could change the fruits, yeah, I think you pound the ground while you have a super-happy thing and you could change the color of the enemies and the fruits! Give it a try! It may make your challenge possible to accomplish! |

well your not missing out that much....i mean sure the graphics are good and the gameplays not bad...and the songs are pretty kool...but it is reall really short and easy....no challenge at all

I could never get 30 apples but my sister could. And I know where the White Yoshi is! He is somewhere in the level Poochy and Nippy. I can't remember where though. I have heard that you can get a purple yoshi by getting all the coins in every level and you can get rainbow yoshi by getting everything in the fianal chapter and you can get gold yoshi but i don't know how. Please tell me if you really can get purple, rainbow, and gold yoshi!
