You aren't getting my point.
Fox has been in several games where he shoots the crap out of things, Arwing or otherwise. so its not really a "omfg Fox has got a gun" situation.
Whereas Sonic games are more about speed then shooting guys, so its more out of the ordinary.

Then you're not making your statements clear enough.
It seems that when Yoshee said she wouldn't be allowed to buy a game like that, it's not because of the existance of shooting weapons, it's from the atmosphere. Starfox is cartoony, with weapons and apparently that's okay. It would seem that the problems would come from games similar to GTA San Andreas and company.
From what I've seen, they're trying to make Shadow the "ultimate bad boy" in the Sonic plane, the guy with the Rotary Autocannon. This probably leads to a darker atmosphere, which gives the parents a reason to refuse to buy the game.

Hmmm looks like the others (Sonic Knuckles Rouge ect.) are just following him  it still looks cool not exactly what i was looking for but meh -_- im sure itll get boring after a week (like all the other games <_<) and yet we still spend our money on them  |

Except for Zelda, *Gasp*, you NEVER get tired of those, if I feel mad, I'll just go and kill a couple of Enimies then I feel better. Despite the loss of my hand-eye coordination, I'm still pretty talented at painting words onto grains of rice.
