I really only get one or two things these days.
I'd really like a laptop, because I can't read my own notes that I take during lectures, and Advance Wars DS.

I would really like a DS. Hopefully, by Christmas, my parents can distinguish one from an iPod.
After that, a new set of encyclopedia volumes would be nice.

Theres something wholesomely appetizing about watching Bowser bust an array of breakdancing moves against Mario.
Damn, my love for that character has been rekindled.
On a side note, I assume that it has difficulty setting, yes...? Most of the stages look extremely easy (just judging from my experiences of Dancing Stage Party)...but so far I haven't seen any videos of the levels being...well, harder. I would chalk it down to it being a Mario game, of course Nintendo is going to make it easy for the kids, but uhh...it would be a bit of a waste of a game if it doesn't even have any challenge, eh. Just out of sheer wonderment.

Sure, the vids are all just on Normal mode Ontop of that you have Hard and Very Hard (and possibly another one). There's quite a sharp difference between each mode. Ontop of that you can turn on 'mush mode' where as well as hitting the arrows you have to activate fireflowers, stomp enemies, avoid fireballs etc.
It probably is easier than some of the others but a glance at boards says some of the later levels on the harder modes are "9/10 footers" whatever that means.

Those were NORMAL mode? D:
Damn. I just read on GameFAQs that the Very Hard mode is just like Standard on a normal DDR game. Oh well, for £30 I guess I shouldn't complain...

I'm not very good at Dance Dance Revolution... however I'd love to be able to play France France Revolution, which I don't suck at.
In France France Revolution you beat your oppenent with a baugette 'till they're unconscious before they do the same to you. You must execute the pummelings to the beat of techno music. It's nothing short of glorious. You can even use your existing Dance Dance Revolution equipment!

Yeah, but Bowser does has some sweet moves. Too bad you can only play as Mario or Luigi. But it does get harder each level. In other to play new songs, you have to play Story mode, you only start with one song in Free Play which is good remix of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" The Music are really good. Mush mode is a little harder. The wierd thing is... Well, one Bowser didn't start this problem and two, what Bowser wanted with them. It's really messed up, but I don't want to Spoil anymore stuff. You also use items while dancing so it'll help alot. The next problem...You can't pause while dancing. You have to finish or stop and Fail or cut off your Gamecube.

Well, yeah. That's how it is for all DDR games. Mario Mix looks like some kind of beginners DDR for kids. Especially now that I know that Very Hard = Standard. I guess that's good for my friend whose getting it for Christmas, since she kind of needs... help with the game in Beginner mode whenever she plays with me and my brothers. Is there at least an Edit Mode in Mario Mix?
