a majority of the teenagers are crack heads who deserve to die so their opinion doesn't count. I despise all those M rated games but a few. Nintendo is for for everyone,it's those crack heads who give it a bad name. The party games are getting old though. If your gonna diss nintendo and brag about the sony and microsoft being the best like all those "other" gamers,I have three words for people like those, get a life. sorry man, but if want to come to a yoshi board and say stuff like that, somone needs to stand up in on topicness: I havn't heard anything except about the controller and the downloas game thing. Whoah whoah whoah, slow down there blanko-neenyo. This kind of censorship is exactly the sort of thing that we're trying to prevent, and yet you perpetuate it through your shallow-minded censorship of their opinions while lording your views over others, claiming the views to be infallible. They have every right to apply their own ideas to a given piece of work and you can't wedge other people into your point of view by claiming that their point of view is wrong. Nintendo doesn't meet their notions of what is acceptable for them to use for one reason or another. Your generalizations are not going to cut it. Some new news today from the GDC. The Revolution virtual console will be somewhat like iTunes and will also have Hudson Turbografx and Sega Genesis games. Awesome news in my opinion, but everyone still wants game play videos! Turbografx? Does this mean... Military Madness? On the Revolution? With the Military Madness music? On top of being able to hold the controller like a shotgun and say "This... is my BOOMSTICK!"? Hot damn! Now I must posess one.

they can still leave those that do like nintendo alone. I really don't care what some ones opinion is,but I hate in when they bully others with their opinion.

Here's something for your opinions... tell me if I'm ranting or something, because I don't want to sound mad. I'm not.
The reasons I don't like the Xbox or the PS are because; A.) I'm not allowed to have it. B.) I can't possibly ever hope to hold those controllers.
I like Nintendo games because they're colorful and my brother can play them without too much trouble. I think they should make some easier games, so I don't have to play for my family all the time. I don't mind that they're easy for me, because then I can play them with nearly anyone, even if they've never played it before. Of course, I always enjoy a good, hard game. It's just that since I grew up with Nintendo, I don't understand the other kinds of controllers, and that therefore makes other games too hard for me to reach all the buttons. The small controllers let me reach all the buttons I need to at the same time, and lets me keep my eyes on the TV instead of looking at my controller, trying to figure out what they mean by "Circle button".
I know plenty of people who enjoy shooting games, and most of them are pretty nice. They just like a lot more action and red colors, which is why they don't choose Nintendo, I suppose. And I Double-scoop ice cream dinosaurs, and I don't think the other consoles have much of them.
... In other news, I've heard that you can flick the remote controller instead of analog, I think.

Same, I grew on Nintendo, I have nearly no idea how to work the others. I have played (and beat) friends at their Playstation games, Xbox not as often, but it takes me half an hour to get used to the controls enough to even consider becoming an opponent. For more info, a whole huge article about it, check out: entertainment.howstuffworks.com/nintendo-revolution.htm

Whee, I love How Stuff Works.
Okay, I had some doubts about the Revolution and the controllers, but I guess I could give it a try... a good, long one. Harhar. It sounds good, but I have a rock-hard wrist (or something) when I play the racing games and stuff. I'll have to get used to this "revolutionary" controller, haha.

They'regonna ride the hype plain out. Like with Zelda :TP. I once cared, a whole lot, the hype was intense, I was gonna fall all over it like a wet noodle... but they waited so bloody long I don't care anymore.

Here's my opinions, facts, and whatever. I've been hooked to Nintendo since as long as I could remember. I'm not gunna change anytime soon either. It's people like me and the majority, I suppose, of YC that keep Nintendo together. Their games are fine as far as I'm concerned, and those anti-Nintendo...things... yeah, I really don't care what they say. It's their opinion, and that's all. I'm fine with people not liking Nintendo as much as the PS or X-box or even not at all, but when they start flaming it, I just walk away unless I have an argument stopper.
But, about the Revo. At first I didn't really like it but it looks uber-leet compared to X-box. Nintendo indeed has the most originality of the three. You don't see an array of new games comming from a die-hard series on the other two console, sure they have jak and daxter and a bunch of FF and now two KH games, but when it comes down too it...it just doesn't beat Nintendo in my eyes. Oh, man I hope I can raise enough money to buy the Revo, I'll probably be able to since I can most likely get a descent small job now since I turned 15. Meh, time will tell. I'm bored so I'm gonna go play me some Zelda. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! ! (BTW, they moved Zelda:TP again to September. T_T)

This just in, the Revolution has been renamed to "Wii" revolution.nintendo.comI'm hoping that this is some sort of joke, because in my opinion, that name sucks and I think many will agree with that.

Pff, haha. I don't think it's a joke. My brother just told me about it earlier today, and I've been hearing it all over the place, too. At first, I thought someone had made a typo when trying to type "WiFi." XD
I don't like the name either. It just sounds... odd. It's pronounced "whee," right? I heard that it's supposed to stand for something, but I don't remember what.
Kind of like the Gamecube's early name being the Dolphin... except its changed name made more sense.

Oh, my gosh. No way. What are they thinking!? Revolution sounds wayyyy better. But "whee" is fun to say. =P

That would be the weirdest thing. "Wii?" That IS an odd sounding name. But hey! Its a Nintendo system so you gotta love it! XD

I just can't see myself asking, "Hey, mom, can I play the "whee"?" So strange. Gamecube at least made sense.

Well, I can't really say the name sucks, but I can say that it's odd nonetheless. It's just one of those stupid things that are so catchy, it sticks. You know, kind of like that same technique used before taking a test, such as "A pint is a pound, makes the world go round." Thanks to that, I now know that one pint of water is equivalent to one pound when taking a conversation test in cooking class. Oh well, the explanation they gave out why they gave it that name is just good enough for me. I'm not going to waste my time complaining on the name alone. I think it's just fine, really.

The pun sheild has been prepared, please stand by... Aww... Of course, that would've been better if it was activated earlier. (seriously, there was one website with so many puns about that, and they all got locked, all 3 pages) So I guessI can't make a pun now... Man... And I had a perfect one to, but I forgot it.

Still though, you can't say people are going to forget about it in a hurry.

Wii is a perfect name, imho. I like those names which hardly make any sense, like iPod and stuff... mmm. P:
