Mario Kart is very addicting and VERY frustrating at times. Especially certain tracks, at least until you get the hang of them.
Best DS game IMO is Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. It is one of my favorite games now.

And it's game forum time.
I got a DS back during Christmas. I oddly haven't felt compelled to really use it much. I have Mario Kart, although I don't really have too many tips ready for it. I do think is has a pretty cool design. I just need to feel compelled to play games again.

You just got it so you could hope to compete against me. XD
What color is it? That sexy red? Mine is white. It has scratches all over it ;_; I have to start playing Mario Kart DS again, though. We shall race sometime! As soon as I get the WFC adaptor...

Oh yeah, as for tips, on MKDS, Powerslide, Powerslide, Powerslide! (the instruction manual calls it mini turbos). It took me a while to master, but now that I have, races are 1000x easier. Heck, I lap half the racers in Baby Park all of the time because of it.

The only tip I have is for SM64DS.One, if there is water deep enough to swim in and you need health, dive in and go back to the surface.Health is replenished. Two, many many warp spots.PM me if it interests you.Three,If you come across the cool glitch to walk in the air,(which I will not reveal)do not go into water. If you do, you will drown, and not be able to get up.
Edit: Congrats on getting the DS!

I got a tip for Super Mario 64 DS, DON'T DIE, hope that was helpful. For MKDS, this might be considered a cheap tactic, but I'll just say that you should learn to snake. Basically, you powerslide all over the place, even on straight-ways, now it might be a bit difficult at first, but once you get it, you'll get it.

Alright, well the ? switch need about 12 stars to be accesable. After that, you'll see a glowing coming from the ceiling of the foyer. Stand in the middle of it and look up, and you'll teleport to a secret area. The switch is there. And which star in door 3 are you talking about?

For your Power Flower problem, you need no less than 11 stars. And you need Mario. Go back to the castle "lobby", and go to where the sun thing is. There should be a light shining from the ceiling. Zoom in with the camera, and look into it. Note: ONLY Mario can get through that area, as he is the only one that can wear the Wing Cap.
In the sunken ship, you need to drain the water. Find the treasure chest(s?) at the bottom of the boat. Swim up to it, and it should open. The water will drain, and you can work your way up the wall to get the "!" block. Remember, you can't jump to open blocks when you're underwater.
