Super Mario World. Just everything in that game game is perfect. I tried to find flaws in that game, but i couldn't.
Next, Zelda OoT. Travel around Hyrule, excellent dungeons, lots of equipment... amazing.
Star Fox 64. The most perfect shooter i've ever played. So many stages and routes... and has a sound test \o/
Zelda WW. Don't have many dungeons as OoT, but has something i love: A gicantic world. And with this, comes exploration. I just love this in game.
Tales of Symphonia. Has the best battle system that i've played (Though Abyss will surpass it), great character development, a great history, great graphics and sound. The best RPG i've ever played.
I can't pick just one.

Drakengard. An absolutely specifically dark game. I loved the storyline, characters, and just the gameplay. Drakengard the first was darker than the second. Pure death all around, basically, as the main character, Caim, was just entirely bent on killing every soldier in the opposing army. There was an ally that joined you, a woman, who quite freakishly enough, was a child-murdering cannibal. (Yes, it's true! SHE ATE LITTLE CHILDREN! D: ) And there was also a supposed pedophile. The Pact-Partner Dragon Angelus of the main character was... Simply bent on destroying all humans. The only reason she made a Pact with Caim was to save her life. She still got to kill a lotta humans though, and gladly--Caim rode her and burned the enemy army to ash. Inuart--the Lover and Jealous One. Caim's once best friend, who loved Caim's sister, Furiae, the Goddess who held the world together. As the Goddess, Furiae wasn't allowed to love. Inuart, however, still held her as his betrothed. He was jealous of Caim to have his sister always at his side--she always smiled at her brother, gave him the kindest looks. Incest? IDONTKNOWLEAVEMEALONE. But, yes, the two siblings had a close bond. Eventually, to have Furiae, Inuart turned to the Cult of the Watchers, a sinister cult that led the Empire's Army. He made a Pact with a Black Dragon to gain power, to kill Caim, to take Furiae. The plot delves much deeper, but I won't go on... I'm rambling. xD But, one more thing that made me all... Loveish to this game. Multiple endings. Yes. There was seven in Drakengard, but only three in Drakengard 2. Drakengard 2 had a wonderful twist to it, and I was sad during a few parts... And another made me mad. REEEEAAAAALLLL MAAAD. XD So, usually, if a game can change my emotions, I'm really into it and... Love it, basically. Tales of Symphonia's another one. The plot, gameplay, storyline... It enthralled me, to say the least. I literally could not stop playing without thinking about it. Every time something would happen, I would just have to keep playing to find out what happened next. And, in the end, it was quite amazing. I was so sad when the game actually ended. (Yeah, I thought it was going to, like, five different times. xD) I know there's gotta be more~ The original Crash Bandicoot. He's overcooked now. Ppsh. He's way overdone. Makes me wanna vomit. D: I loved Crash, just because I played it as a child, and I found it... Fun. Legend of Zelda. Particularly Ocarina of Time, considering it was the first I ever played. Dungeons. HOLY SHNYKIES LOTS OF DUNGEONS. I think it has the most of a Zelda game I've ever played. But, the graphics for their time were excellent, and still are pretty much something to be seen nowadays. In my own opinion, anyways. The plot... Hawhaw. There's a Ganondorf / Ganon in almost every Zelda game. I thikn the only exception so far is, like... Majora's Mask. And those GameBoy ones don't count. D:< They weren't anything special. Well, except for Link's Awakening. I loved that one. Oh, oh, I know! Fire Emblem. =D It's really only for those strategists. I haven't beaten Path of Radiance yet, because I'm being lazy and playing other games. But, the GameBoy Advanced ones... Oooh, yes. The plain Fire Emblem, and then Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. They were both awesome. Their storylines also captivated me and made me want to keep playing. (Poo on you Kurtis, POO ON YOU! Fire Emblem's awesome. XD) I betcha I have more, but I'm being REALLY LAZY AND IT'S LATE RIGHT NOW AND I WANT TO DIE AND LOTS OF STUFF IS GOING ON AT THREE FOURTY IN THE MORNING AND IT SOUNDS LIKE MY DOGS ARE FIGHTING RIGHT NOW. *Ahem* Now! I might edit this later, if I want to, and if I think of more. Ayus. Nighty night. *Collapses on keyboard*

The Mario Brothers.
Probably because this little guy ate a mushroom and became huge all of a sudden! Plus, most of the games have been so fun to play. With crazy plot twists, new items in just about every game, and because it is always fun for everyone to play. I played it when I was 3, and I still play it today, I even play the old NES Mario bros. I thought it was something different. There were no guns, no swords. Just a little Italian Man in red/brown (at the time anyways =P) jumping on everything or using a fireball, or getting the occasional Star. It was epic!

Mmm, indeed, I often return to a ROM or the original cartridge of that game, remembering my past 16 years ago as I first looked upon it and heard the music, the sounds, the gameplay that would remin and only grow in the time to come Double-scoop ice cream

Star Ocean 3 (Till the End of Time)
Oh yea! My personal favorite game. All I can say is WOW! An absolutely amazing game! I love everything about it, the music, the characters, the difficulty, the places, everything. I also enjoy the setting, it takes place way in the future (even though most of the game is on an underdeveloped planet). The game has tons of twists and turns and can stir up emotions in some people (yes, there are sad parts). I also love the battle between the demensions, really cool. The whole setting and story, I absolutely love, thats all I can say. There is never a dull moment in this game.
Another reason of my love for this game is that my favorite voice actress, Wendee Lee, (yes I have a favorite) plays the role of a major character. She plays as Nel Zelpher (my favorite character). Some of you may already be aware of her talents... she does the voices of Fay Valentine in Cowboy Bebop, Kei in the anime movie Akira, Yahiko in Rurouni Kenshin, and many more.

I couldn't agree with you more. God, I love that music. I've got the "Bridge to Gruntilda's Lair" as my userlookup music on neopets. It was original, great gameplay, the first thing like it in its time, and the many transformations were quite funny, as mentioned. And who doesn't love Kazooie's smart mouth? Cloud Cuckooland kept me busy when I was ten. I actually completely cleared Banjo-Tooie when I was ten. It only took a year. The mini-games were awesome too.
But my first game love was Yoshis Story. For a six year old, it was absolutely charming. My old friend Dylan would play it with Midnight and I as children and eat Nilla Wafers. Tch, Midnight could never beat Magma Castle, and she'd get all mad and throw the controller at me or the wall.xD
I bet you still couldn't beat it now, Midnight. >: )[/size]

I guess the first would be Super Mario World. I actually didn't own it, a friend of mine did and I loved it so much. It's still a really great game today. The levels where so cool, and riding Yoshi was a major plus.
Also I fell in love with a few N64 titles such as SM64 and Banjo-Kazooie, just because of how fun they where, and still are today.

Hmmm, well, though I've fallen in love with many a game (to include Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Story, MarioKart 64, Perfect Dark, Paper Mario, and of course Kindom Hearts and KH2) The very FIRST game I fell in love with was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars! There was just something mystifying about being able to 'control' multiple characters in battle (I think this was also my first RPG EVER.....) and thus I was hooked! The story was great because it detracted from the traditional, and sometimes annoying, idea that Peach (at this time still Princess Toadstool) was a helpless little girl with no chance to defend herself against the reptilian wiles of a certain spiked tortoise we know as Bowser. Plus the introduction of memorable cry-babys like Mallow, and kick-ass characters like Geno heightened my love of the game even more!!
Would I recommend this game?? Abso-freaking-lutely!!! It has great gameplay everytime I play it! Regardless of the fact that it's TEN YEAR OLD!!!! (Icelebrated by laying it through yet again! ^^)

Gensou Suikoden was the first game I ever fell in love with. My first RPG, I played it when I was about 6. It's a great RPG series that isn't about the typical 'save the world' RPG fare. It's about a war instead where you have to lead a rebellion and recruit an army (108 different characters you can recruit). Great fun, I still remember the first time a saw the game!
Also Metal Gear Solid. I played the first when it came out 8 years ago. As I was a RPG fanatic at the time I was getting sick of all the battles, a game where you try NOT to fight was great!! Great plot and characters, and I hadn't seen anything remotely similar at the time. I was playing though with my Dad and he made me get the good ending (I wanted the bad, you get a better item...).

If this isn't just limited to console games then I'd have to say that the first game I ever fell in love with was Quake III: Arena for PC. Back in the day it was so much fun, and so addictive. I would play it for days on end...and I still do on occasion. I'm also slowly falling in love with Battlefield 2 for PC, stunning and superb in all respects. As far as consoles go the only games I really fell in love with were the games in the Ty series with Ty2 being my favorite.
