As someone who has never played through the original GCN game (shame on me), this is news to me, because it'll give me a chance to enjoy the game without having to go back a generation. Let's just hope that they can get the Wii FPS controls right, unlike some of the earlier examples we've seen. I would thoroughly enjoy an FPS game on the Wii as I'm used to the PC control scheme, but I'm not really hearing good things about the ones currently out on the Wii so far.

I highly look forward to the Wii version! I even reserved it! and its only 30 dollars! ^^

I would get the Wii Edition, but I already have the Gamecube version of it. I cant decide, really. XD

Well, the Wii version has the extra content from the PS2 version, has controls that take advantage of the remote and nunchuk, and is at a reduced price LEVEL UP ! ! So I'd say that's your choice, but you'd likely still enjoy playing it..
..And perhaps the alternate costumes will actually be rendered in cutscenes again, unlike in the PS2 version LEVEL UP ! !
