And here. Pokemon XD, get or no get? Also, does Mawile make an appearance on there? I pwned Ruby with Mawile and I want to leave the same trail of destruction in this one.
Worth it?

Well, it's not the best to choose from..it's alright, though, buying I wouldn't recommend. It also takes a huge amount of memory to save, so unless you got a large memory card. Also, most of the pokemon are Shadow Pokemon, meaning you'll have to try and catch them soon. Miss your chance, and well..good bye. And yes, Mawile is there, but you only get one shot at catching him/her.
Like I said, best not to buy this game...maybe rent or not.

I got it, but my brother's the one that played it all the way through. Well, me and him on his game file, haha.
Yes, you can get Mawile. And since it's right near the middle of the game (unless I counted wrong), it's not horribly complicated to catch.
Now, would it be worth it? I had a lot of fun- Poke'mon is quite entertaining in 3-D. The moves aren't all that creative, and the storyline is a complete copy off of the old one, but you can get almost any Poke'mon you want eventually. Either that or you can trade from your Ruby or Sapphire version for the one you couldn't find.

Honestly, unless you're wanting to get every Pokemon, and the elusive Lucky Egg for your 3rd Gen games, then I'd pass on the purchase of this one. The story is fun, but at the same time mediocre, and the capturing is, as others have said, limited to Shadow Pokemon. I found it fun that my selection was limited, but I'm also a bit of a masochist when it comes to Pokemon. It's definitely a fun little distraction though -- better than Colosseum IMO.
tl;dr version: play it some other way first. If you like it, pick it up, if it's a low price.

I think XD sucked, and Diamond or Pearl would be a better choice. I only got XD because it was the only legit way to get Lugia without going to an event. There are some other special Pokemon you can get, like Moltres with extrasensory (which can be helpful, since Moltres's movepool is crap), but I don't really think its worth it.
