I've never played assault, but today I finally managed to get a copy of Snes9x that supports Super FX2 emulation - so now I can play Star Fox 2. Pretty funky.
Star Fox 64 is still a great classic, though. I'm going with that one.

I like Star Fox Assult even though it was a bit short but it went back to the orignal Star Fox and Star Fox64 where you got to fly around in the arwing but it did have some points where you were on the ground like in Star Fox Adventures which was nice since you had some really cool weapons but Star Fox Adventures in my opinion was just evil and I really didnt like it because you were on foot all the time expect when you were going back in fourth between worlds but the most annoying part was the temples especially the test of fear I had to have a friend beat it for me and it even took him a good long time to beat it.

Slow down, there. use periods and commas and paragraphs, mon.
SF 64, because it's easy to see what's going on, and, you actually get to fly in it.

I say Starfix Adventures. I've only played it and SF64. SF64 got annoying at times because all you did was fly. I liked Adventures a bit better since I'm an RP fan. But from what I've heard, Assault is the best out of all of them, but I picked Adventures since I've never played Assault.

Meh... I voted for Star Fox 64. The original star fox for the the SNES (I got it off a flea sale for about 5$ along with Earthbound) Wasn't really that innovative, and kinda boring, because the game was a bit slow paced for me, and I kinda felt I was flying a triange rather than a ship. 64 is a huge improvement in every aspect... whether it was gameplay, graphics or sound.
Starfox adventures... was just plain annoying, and Assault I haven't touched yet. Not before Timesplitters : Future perfect. Its the LAW.

assault is like a combo of 64 and adventure. does any one remeber there star wolf team, they're in it too,but oikeny and pigma are no longer star wolf members(cause you blow them up during gameplay) and panther is the new member. they help you in corniera, orbital gate, and aparoid home world core

Star Fox 64 for me! It's one of my nostalgia games, where I remember and can quote almost if not all the quotes in the game, and almost in order too I used to play that one nonestop, trying to beat my score over and over again, got it up to 1836 on Normal mode, yay! ;D Another aspect that I loved so much in that game was the all-range mode, I love dogfights, much more action, saving friendlies, shooting friendlies (Katina) Don't get me wrong, the other Starfox games were great too, though Assault I barely touched yet, only multi, which I thought was all right, though from the hype, was expecting much more than that. Still good though. Starfox Adventures was great, a nice change in genre compared to the other games of the series, and the only one of the series made by Rare I believe (correct me if I'm wrong). It was amusing throughout the game, yet I felt like it was too easy, and had me wanting for more, though I'm always like that... heh. The original Starfox was good too. I remember passing my childhood on that game (and other games of course). It was fun to fly through the stages, and when I finished the game for the first time, by was I happy. Nowadays, it's simplistic, and getting 100% on all stages is pretty easy to attain.

Not played SF:A yet... just Lylat Wars
Man, that was aweosme though. The only bad part of the game was Slippy. I mean, 12 seconds into a level and he's already being tailed by enemies? I just shot him down myself >_>

Ha, I got -just- over 2,000 points on Expert mode... something like 2,011... needless to say, I went through Area 6, but not Sector Z, and got the medals on every last course. Took a while though!

Nice! I'm aiming for that 2000 mark myself. Corneria > Meteo > Katina > Sector X > MacBeth > Area 6 > Venom ... right?

Star Fox 64 was definitely the best one out of the series. the one for Super Nintendo actually wasnt that bad but just didnt have that addicting feel to it. Star Fox Adventures was annoying except for all the voice-overs for many of the people in the game which was just hilarious at times.
i play Star Fox Assault for the first time last night at my friends house and it wasnt that bad. it could of been better if they added more levels (because we beat it in like 5 hours)
