I don't know how many people have heard, but of late I have been working on a game for Joshi based off his old YATE story. So far during its production, it is still in its very early stages, and its due date is somewhere scheduled for August. 12, 2005, Joshi's birthday. Aniki and Joshi have so far helped me with all their hearts. Joshi has given me the best ideas for the game and Aniki has given me the sprites, which are now implemented in the game. The sprites work, and they all run, shoot, jump, etc. So, I have tested out the sprites and the characters and enemies. Unforutuantly, I can not put in the YATE enemies until the near end of the game, so in place I did have to use ShyGuys. I'm not a fan of using something thats already been used in other games. So far I have a wide variety of them and they are spaced out in types. Flying, Running, Walking, Swimming, etc enemies.
All in all the game is a platformer like the old Mario games on the SNES, I like the retro feel of it. Platformers are also one of the more interesting types. I have tried to add diffrent styles of games into the mix along with the platform scenario and so far it all seems to fit in. I have an opening screen, which I wish could be far more original. I have a scrolling beginning of the story, and then a little version of the Level Opening. Of course all of this is likely to change and most likely will. So far my plans are to wind this thing all the way through the YATE story along with my best friend Joshi's help. I couldnt do it without him. The game itself starts about midway through chapter one, with Joshi in his dream of the characters and events to come later in the game.
I plan to end the game, and Joshi has filled me in on what will happen. I am making the game with a registered version of Game Maker 6.1 which allows me to use a partical system, sound effects, and CD music. Of course the fire particals, because of "certain" characters XD, are needed. Mailtroid, and Yoshiken along with everyone else in the story will be placed in the game. You can also use those two characters in the game at diffrent times when the story ask for it.
The weapons have been placed in the game, all of them will be used in a diffrent way. The Water Gun, Shield Generator, Stealth Disguise, ETC are going to be used in the game. I am doing this game for Joshi and have been, but he would love to give it to you all when it is done. Once the game is in his hands, he can do whatever he likes with it, since I am making it for him. This is why I posted this topic. Any ideas you all have, or any questions surrounding the games creation are heavily needed. This would be my second game made, and I have done lots of studying for it and have been working on it since late December. I had to rebuild it up again earlier this spring. One thing I am searching for very much is a flash movie of how to get the parts to Connect, adding a movie to the game would be a real pleasure, and make it better for Joshi.
So comments, concerns, ideas, or any help you could possibly give me I would enjoy. I need as much help as I can get for this and Aniki has done A LOT for me, and Joshi has done just as much during the creation of this.
I promised Joshi this game, and I wish to make it the best for him! So please, any help would be useful to me, I would love to make this the best for him, and when he gives it to you, I would enjoy that you like it.

for other object: change the instance into object Dead, yes performing events

set the health relative to -30
I program for it, and so you know thats how you kill a ShyGuy or any monster in any type of Nintendo game when you jump on its head. Ok, now please give me ideas if you have any, I am all ears.
