Poem time! I'll start with a light one (in my favorite rhyme pattern, of course)... This was made for a school assignment some time back, wherein we had to come up with a muse for some sort of creative activity. So, I made up the Muse of Level Design. It was also accompanied by a picture, but you don't get to see that.
Muse: inspire! Lend a had To build this world, craft this land, A true adventure that will stand 'Gainst time and repetition.
Forge the traps and summon foes; Find the place where each one goes To keep the player on his toes: The gamer's true tradition,
Keep it to the vision, right Towards the end I see in sight; Ev'ry vertex, ev'ry sprite Shall find its proper place.
Stave off curses; keep it free Of ted'ious trials, odds, and see that "Yellow door needs yellow key" Shall never be the case.
Though reward's a great aside, The true adventure's in the ride; Know the pace that can preside Within the level's will.
Looking back, though it may be Forged with darkling fealty, Craftmanship's capacity For true regret it nil.

Wow Fifth, I love this poem all in all, I haven't seen you around much so I don't know what you've been up to, but this I must say was quite an entry! As usual, your writing is phenomenal, and I thank you for helping me improve a long time ago, I would expect no less from you.
If you don't mind me saying, I like the speech you used in this poem, such as "'gainst," "Ev'ry," and "Ted'ious." It's very creative and poetic, reminds me of William Shakespeare.
