LOOOOOONG Downtime

As some of you know, I haven't been able to connect for nearly a week now, bad cable stuffs were going on, so we couldn't get online. Here's the poem I wrote channeling my frustration of it out, and it's also the longest poem I've written.

LOOOOOONG Downtime

I am bored,
also mad,
I've lost my gourd,
I feel so bad.

I want to talk now,
as well as "surf",
that big fat cow,
stole my turf.

I am so sorry,
I've been gone so long,
I want my Ferrari,
this feels so ob-long.

It's like I'm banned,
or at least locked up,
the ship is un-manned,
I've lost my pup.

Come back to me,
my precious treasure,
this stings like a bee,
time is a blurr.

I can finally relate,
"So Lonely" is the song,
could it be fate?

I want to go,
to the future,
time's in slow-mo,
and it needs a cure.

Someone save me,
from this torment,
I want some glee,
in my heart's a dent.

Got a glimmer of hope,
but it quickly faded,
talking to a friend I cope,
this time's one I've hated,

If you're reading this,
then the worst is over,
I should be in bliss,
I should feel sober.

XD, thanks, that whole week was so frustrating, I really wanted to get on and see what all I've missed and stay active basically. Most of all though I missed talking to Contention, hey buddy! Lol, and as it is now, we're still having problems, it keeps disconnecting me, it was heck trying to talk to him last night. The day after tomorrow, that's when it should be fixed for good. Shoot, got disconnected, I'll have to save this to a draft real quick and restart my computer. Back, gawd I hate this, it's SO ANNOYING! Well, I better post this before it goes offline again. Two days, two more days, two more long days.

Very good way of writing the frustration into words. Some rhyming is a little clunky (but hey nothing is as bad as my poetry) and I'm such the picky critic anyways! I feel your pain...lol...good job, Dragon!

XD, thanks, and no worries, I suck with rhyming. Glad you like it though, and don't say your poetry stinks, I'm sure it's good! (If anything, mine naturally sucks, I just do it for fun.)

EDIT: Wow, apparently I did read them before, I posted there sometime in August. I barely remember reading them, but I just read them again and they're great, I'm going to go check to see if there's more, since I stopped at where I replied. They are nice, much better than mine, you're a great writer! (Then again A LOT of you are, Contention, YW, and you YC are just a few.)
