A Thanksgiving Poem

Oy, I wrote this thing before I got sick, which explains why I didn't post it earlier, strep throat is evil!!!!!!!!!!! XD Anyway, I made this for five of my very good friends, who this poem is dedicated to. (Oh, and the word "love", the way I used it, doesn't mean kissy kissy, it's the family love you experience during the holidays, especially apparent during Christmas.)

Well it's finally November,
it's getting cold but warm with love.
This is a time you should remember
what you have, be pure as a dove.

Now Johanan, Happy Holidays!
I'm glad we're friends, you're great.
I'm thankful to know you, my spirits you raise.
Have a good Thanksgiving, Joshi of Y.A.T.E.

David, I can't forget you, you're much too important.
I hope that your holidays are happy as well.
Happiness for you is all I want,
and for that I am thankful, you are swell.

But wait, John I must include you!
You're my reason for knowing all these guys!
Anyway, Happy Holidays! Hope they're in a colorful hue.
I'm thankful for knowing ya, you're friendly and wise.

But I have another friend, Luke I mean you!
I'm hoping your holidays are enjoyable and fun.
So Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful to know you too.
Now just one person left, this poem is not yet done.

Now one more friend, and I now know your name.
And you go by Kurtis, so Happy Holidays!
Enjoy yourself, I hope your family will do the same.
I'm thankful to be friends, after all those days.

(Wait, I forgot two people who deserve to be included.)

How could I forget Rage? Another good friend.
Happy Thanksgiving, hope it's great!
Family time is great to spend,
I'm thankful. Each other we could never hate.

And I forgot Nick, what's wrong with me?
Anyway, to be friends I am thankful.
Now enjoy yourself and be free.
Happy Thanksgiving, it shan't be dull!

Good job! I have strep throat too LEVEL UP ! ! I've been gone alot. Plus my laptop died.
The rhyming is awesome, it really reminds me of the holidays! Your poetry is always nice to hear Dragon! And you included your friends, people to be thankful for!
