Everest
The night is still
The air is cold
The frost is old
As old as thy soul
And death itself
So cold of old
The thorns on your neck
As sharp as spin
The crystal spires
Give way to their sires
And all you admire
Swallowed in the night
The bone chilling cold
As frozen as time
Left to sit out in bitter winds
In the ever resting night
Death breathe
As cold as old marble
Black as demise
Smooth as time
End of eternity
Death of immortality
Forever lost
To watch from afar
As the land stands still
Ever resting
Ever sleeping
The cold dark slumber
All that fear
To wake again
By no means
Trapped in a crystal sigil
To look out upon the frozen ice
The desolate lands
Bare of life
The spires of ice and crystal
On which essence of time sleeps
To watch the world below
Waiting to awake
The never-ending slumber
Shadows of the past
Walk frozen mirrors of time
To look back and wish
To wish to see the green again
Trapped in a white world
Full of pearls and snow
But always wishing
Not of pearls or of silver
Not of diamonds or black jewels
But for nature’s jewels
Black as ebony
Cold as stone
Frozen to a halt
Never ending still
They say it walks these mountains
Hiding in the ever night
Breathing mists of death and ice
Liquid crystals in the air
Dancing like the stars
Breathe of death
Eyes of bitter ice
Dancing with ebony core
Its cloak masks all
Its breath chills all
But worse are his eyes
Cold as stone
To doom to Everest
End of eternity
Its darkness is never ending
The abyss of its mind
So deep so ever ending
The thing we all fear
It marks the end is near
The never-ending slumber
Of which we cannot awake
Doomed to fate
And when we seek it out
It slips through our so numb fingers
Like liquid crystal
Doomed to never see the day
Doomed to never awake
Doomed to never see
The crystal droplets of heaven’s tears
Doomed forever sleep
Doomed forever
Doomed all because
Of everesting slumber
The cold twilight
With day ever nigh
Stuck in the night
Lost to find your way
But one deep twilight
The same twilight
It will be slain
And all shall arise
All shall awake
The end of eternity
The End of immortality
The awakening of mortality
The dawn of ends
When the crystal spires
Give way to their sires
And the twilight begins to fade
And the stars begin to faint
And the sun awakes
Blasting all away
Sheets of every red and orange
Blasting all away
The crystal melts to green trees
The ebony gives way to gems
The diamonds turn to flowers
Of dawn of winters end
And the snow is melted
And the grass grows green
The cold wind fury
Gives way to whisper winds
And sweet songs of birds
And the world awakes
And comes out to play
In the pale dawn red
And the burst of the sunrise
Greater than the dawn
Ruler of the dusk
Blows the crimson horn
The moon has died
The sun has awaken
The endless slumber is over
For heaven has waken
And upon the crystal spire
No a lush green tree
The spirit of time opens its eyes
And burns away the spirit of slumber
And the sprit of the slumber
The spirit of the cold
Flees back to dusk
Awaiting the sleep of time
It waits in far away caverns
But to no avail
Eternity has given way to eternity
Ice given way to grass
Spires give way to trees
Sleep gives way to awakening
Sorrow gives way to hope
Death gives way to life
And ever it waits for rise of moon
But moon is dead
And stars are in the slumber
And leaf does not give way to frost
But instead
Leaf gives way to leaf
And the rainbow is broad
Marking the renewed
Stretching across mortal plane
Beyond the fields
Beyond the forest
Beyond the mountains
Beyond the sky
Sorrow sleeps today
And eternity has changed its tide
The sands of time now blow
Through desert
And the waves of eternity have ended
For the moon is dead
Ocean is so calm
Lush fields are so green
And upon the great tree
Time has awaken
The ice is melted
And the sun shows red
For the night has ended
And twilight is no more
They say it still wanders
Seeking the dread
But let it find it not
And let its soul slowly melt away
Even death dies
Even sleep sleeps
Even sorrow cries
And eternity can end
For Everest is no more
The night is still
The air is cold
The frost is old
As old as thy soul
And death itself
