Hit a writting craze and wrote two poems this weekend.
Shadow in the night
In the night
When the moon is full
And silver fog is broad
When twilight reveals from the darkness
A beast from the shadows shall spring
Fleeing from spirit and soul
Trying to escape doomed imprisonment
Of soul and Body
Of sprit and will
Succumb to the power
Of bloodlust and midnight moon
All of the anger
Of the rage
Tearing out of shape and form
Shredding away fear
Sorrow seeping from the soul
And terror awake
Like a blazing torch
To fear itself
Of being burnt
Of losing truth
Of being striped
Of body mind
And soul
Bloodlust awaking
Sharp teeth of feral fear
Uncanny willpower from evil deeds
Of Death and dark
Where there is light the is shadow
Where there is darkness there is deceit
Where there is shade there is a watcher
No where to fly
That death isn’t nigh
No where to leap
Where sorrow may sleep
No where to go
Trapped in side the soul
No Haven to escape
The evil of hate
Doomed to die
Every Night
When the moon is high
And sorrow is nigh
When twilight is full
And night has no hole
To escape into the heavens
Trapped under a cloak
Of death and darkness
Swallowing you whole
Covering all in darkness
Freeing self of shape and form
To break away from mortal plane
To break away from worry
And turn to some dark craze
Of pain and terror
So where does truth lie?
Light has shadows
Dark has deceit
There is no haven
Where does the shadowless light lie?
Where do the shades fly?
Doomed to die
Even full twilight
Reborn Moon and star
Running from you soul
Running from your self
Running from the curse that you bear
Running into twilight
Hiding from the moon
Hiding from the world
To love and hate yourself
To be trapped beneath the cloak
The so dark cloak
Of the twilight
Doomed to die
When twilight is nigh
And the moon is high
And full
But there is hope
At the dawn
Breaking red
Beyond the planes
Freeing from the shackles
Feeling the breeze on your face
Your soul is once your own
The darkness is pierced
To stand in freedoms peace
To find what you have sought
To rest till sun is naught
And twilight is nigh
Where do the shadows flee?
Where is darkness not
Is there a world free of sorrow?
Where thy can walk field and peace
And see the golden light
Is there a place where all is peace?
Where one can rest?
Forever Free
But shadows sneak
And steal the day
Evening give way to Dusk
And dusk gives way to night
And when twilight is nigh
And the moon is high
Doomed to die
With immortal soul
To flee from the unavoidable
To run from your own shadow
Watching it change before your eyes
While fearing your own deadly eyes
And yet again
It steals your soul way
Forcing you to watch
With blind eyes
Awaking of a deeper dark
Awaking the bloodlust
To hunt while moon is high
Till dawn is nigh

For everywhere is death and deceit
