Unfortunately, It’s still snowing here, even today in April. Ah, but that is the curse of being a citizen of New England. You may ask, why in the world is this a curse, when some of the members here have never even experienced snow? And yes, I am quite well aware of thet fact that this piece is lousy. It was more of a spur of the moment thing when it started snowing here today:
----------------------------------------------
Think of a world where white cotton falls,
Thick blankets protect, not a bird calls,
The flow of life stopped, balances awry,
The motionless giants bare and left to cry,
Not a figure stirring at all.
Picture a moment where silence abounds,
Broken only by the voice of the winds as they sound,
Where children may frolic and play,
And hope that these days will stay,
In this land, where everything’s bound.
Many may yearn for a world such as this,
Though I yearn for days gone that I miss.
Days that seem forbidden and gone,
As the merciless clock shows me just how long,
It has been since these the world was bliss.
Now imagine a world where colors abound,
The greens wave was the winds move around,
Where the crystal waters flow,
And where life is left free to grow,
Where everything is warm and nothing is bound.
So just do me a favor and think of a space,
Where everything can act at it’s own pace.
Some people prefer a blanket of snow,
The relax and to comfort, and to cover them so,
Though I’d much rather prefer, that warm summer’s place.
----------------------------------------------
So to put it bluntly, yeah. People may want winter and snow, and all of that, but to tell you the truth, I am beginning to get tired of it when it snows for 6 darned months now. Seriously, enough is enough. If some of you want snow, then seriously, think out when people get so darned sick of the stuff. About now, I really envy anyone with temperatures over 40 degrees. …Uh… yeah.
