So many hours, lying there
Just knowing that you love me too
I dream and dream of fantasies
Of you and me and me and you
Together in a wave of love
I knew my thoughts would soon reviel
That as I've lain and drempt of you
The same way back is how you'd feel
My hope had brought me to a place
So free from fear of all rejection
I pushed aside the things i shouldn't
I tore down all of my protection
I let you know the way I feel
And now you've left me in the dust
My fantasies had not been real
My words had been abruptly hushed
My heart now fears where it has been
I'll never ask a boy again
my tears are dripping deep inside
For I am hurt too much to cry
I lift my head and try to smile
I ease the pain for just a while
He missed his chance, and that's okay
I'll find someone another day
Besides.
