So last night I tried picking up my reserve for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, you know, the whole reason why I got an Xbox 360 in the first place and all, and apparently the UPS plane or something exploded, so now I guess I have to wait another day.

Well, I have my copy of B to the K now, but I totally forgot to ask about that special preorder thing where I get some code to download the original Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA. Whoops.
I guess I'll be in for some 1,600 hours of gameplay.

So the building was on fire yesterday. That was fun.
It was mostly contained about eight floors higher than me so my stuff is alright. It's very frustrating because it happened during finals week and I have two tough tests monday and tuesday.
After all those fakes it finally happened.

To Lazo: Best of luck to ya on those tests! For me, I've got four tests and an essay coming up all in the next few days, so I know the feeling.
Life has been... well... chaotic. I am finally done with caroling gigs for my two groups, and just when I think I have time to sit back and relax, close friends have to bring their problems with me into the open for something I couldn't control... meh, a perfect christmas, eh? Oh well, at least I don't have to deal with problems once this week passes, then it's smooth sailing from here up until the new year, so I should be just fine... hopefully...

Working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the day after Christmas, and the Friday after Christmas.

My speakers stopped working. *Long Sigh* On another note...
I am sad. How long must it take to collect a reply for one's hard-thought-out piece of fan fiction? Dose it take a long time for everyone here? If my fan-fiction, "End" , is bad just say so, it's better than not knowing. Please comment, I'm looking forward to years of continuation.
Small edit: You have to say why it's bad.

Vampires are real, but not how you think.
You know that one really greasy guy who's always bumming drinks off you when you're all out with your friends? You remember that one really bad ex-boyfriend - the one who you got in that terrible codependent relationship with, where he abused you so much you were scared to leave? You remember that teacher who always knew just which buttons to push to make you feel small?
Those are vampires. They feed off of suffering. But it's harder to make someone's life miserable than you'd think. The human race is pretty resilient. You don't want to hit them with real pain, because then they'd just adapt. And that's like killing the golden goose.
So some vampires just sip away a little bit at a time, like that really weird guy who's always awkward around your female friends but not offensive enough to merit being told to screw off.
Some vampires will continue to pound away at you, like CIA interrogators or crooked cops or snarling bosses. They'll find every way they can to break you until your every reaction is misery and pain, feeding them like a steady IV drip.
And some vampires will spend months or years building you up, making you feel special and magical and loved. All that time, what you don't notice is that they're cutting you off from the support groups you'd normally rely on in a crisis - friends, family, coworkers, hobbyists, neighbors, etc. Then, once you're in the palm of their hand, they won't just let you fall. They'll crush you, drop you to the floor and laugh on the way down.
Why am I telling you this? Because I care about you, baby. I only want what's best for you. You've got something special about you, baby, and I'd hate to see you get hurt. I can take care of you. Better than any of your "friends" can ...
