Caption Contest!

Finally, this is to replace the stale Word Association threads.
Anyway, welcome to the first and unofficial Yoshi's Corner's contest brought to you by Joshi and me. ;D This is a Caption Contest. What you'll be doing is that you will receive a picture courtesy of Joshi, and you will all post humorous captions on it. The picture with the funniest captions on it wins and will have the honor of selecting the next picture.

Rules:
1. Nothing too vulgar. No extreme violence or containing sexplicit content .
2. You must host or find someone to host up your own images. Your captions must be written on the actual picture itself.
3. Art submissions by winners are welcome. Please be aware of the things that might be written on your own piece of art in case you choose to make one solely for this contest.
4. Picture submissions must have living things in it with a background. It's very possible to give funny captions to inanimate objects, but you must first go over it with Joshi and me to see if it seems possible.
5. Submitted pictures need not to be Yoshi, Nintendo, or gaming related. In fact, I encourage goofy, random real life pictures of people or friends or yourself or pets or whatever.

Thanks to Joshi for bringing up this wonderful idea, finding the image, and allowing me to write the stupid rules . Well, I wish you all good luck, and try to be funny as hell/possible.

As for judging, well... uh... Joshi and I will be the judges. Maybe sooner or later, we'll be choosing new judges depending on the direction the series of this contest may be heading in. Anyway, judges are allowed to goof off and post their own submissions, but they won't be counted.

Deadlines are every Saturday at 11:59 P.M. Judging will take place on Sundays. This is a weekly contest, just so you know, until this gets stale as well...

Bribes can be accepted via PayPal.

Some possible tips:
Have really funny fonts or something. Be sure the caption emphasizes the speaker's face and/or surroundings. Blah blah blah...

Yoshi: It means you will let yoshi go to sleep.

Yoshi calls the cops and Peach goes to jail for bugging him.

PEach:" All right... Ahem... A... Aardvark, Noun, mammel... *yawns* mammel lives deep within.. rows of counters and beads.. Wait...*continues* *YAWN* *Snore*
Yoshi: *opens one eye.. Quietly gets out of bed, and tip toes out of the room while mission impossible theme plays... And then raides the cookie jar*

P.S I think actually writing on the picture is a bad idea...its a bit too tedious, and people may not have hosts to use. Plus, if you get the picture from Google or something, the person who created the image may not be entirely thrilled with perhaps some of the captions plastered on their work. Could give a bad image to them, right? Just posting captions is much more quicker and effective too. n_n

Yes, Teh, Koshizu is right. In captions, you're not supposed to recreate the picture without the author's permission. In Caption Contest, you simply write humorous quotes you think the character might say. It has nothing to do with inserting quotes in the pictures. So, everyone is doing correctly, oh and only one caption per image. The second one will be invalid.

I KNEW IT! Somebody would come up and say something EXACTLY like that. I knew it right at the moment I wrote the rules. Bleh, oh well...

Okay, calm down everyone. Saturday is tomorrow, making it the deadline (sorry for the short time). Tomorrow we will choose the winner of the caption contest who will then pick the new image. Remember that if the work is a drawing, please include the artist's name, like the one I've posted. All captions must be turn in now please.
