Hey, I played Stadium 2 and went to the school. It mentioned Normal-types being a good battle starter because of it's few weaknesses. I personally, though, prefer Water and Flying types. Of course, all types are good. I take some out of the PC thingy just to try training different types.

That's true too, and I know, I played through Pokémon Stadium 2 too, yes they say that, but again, there's a lot of goood starters out there that aren't normal types. Of course, I could be just ranting about not liking normal types since I do find most are not good enough.. but there's a few that are nice. Raticate with super fang... it's great to get rid of lots of HP in one turn against a pokémon that could take a long time to take down (Shuckle, Blissey, any legendaries) Blissey, very nice to have against a Pokémon using lots of special attacks, and lots ot HP plus softboiled = good. |

all of that is true, but i really woundnt consider taking a normal pokemon into an elite four battle, even a jym battle i wouldnt consider. nomal/flying types like pidgey are a different story. im talking about the jiggly pufish ones.

Yeah, they don't have very high stats. I usually explode into battle with my lvl 54 Swellow. Attacks too fast to take much damage, and has a high Attack stat.

the thing about swellow is that hes not only a normal type, but a normal/flying. this gives him a great advatage over a normal pokemon. for example, he is good against bug types like scyther.

You know what a good match would be? Suddowoodo. He's rock and plant-type, I think... No weaknesses, because of all the different resistances.

even though sudowoodo looks like a tree dosent mean hes a plant i think. are you sure he is? i know hes defentaly rock type. i dont know, i havent played in jhoto for some time now, same with orre.

I haven't played that game in a while... oh yeah! It was one of the fossils in Sapphire/Ruby. There's a plant/rock-type, I'm, sure. It's a good combination.

ok, heres mine...(all have crystal & yellow version...leave me alone...) Zigg, Lv. 98 raichu swifto, Lv 70 typhlosion izzy, Lv 70 dragonite raihako, Lv 73 raikou slyix, lv 71 arcanine edd, Lv 70 bayleaf (yes, bayleaf! shuddaap about my bayleaf thing, i think hes better than meganium...sorta (bayleef gets faster than maganium! my lv70 maganium is wayyyyy lower than edd...) adn i love nicknames...so yeah... im trying to not get them to Lv 100, or else it wont be anyfun to play anymore... note to random people: all my pkmn were hand raised, not traided...(i traded pikachu from yellow ver, adn got an egg=zigg) and i did the same with edd...and only 2 rare candie were used (at max) ton each pkmn, and it was kinda hard to train all of em...(heh, i think i let zigg out too much...) lol!! hold your tongue =P my squad =D Ampharos 100 Feraligator 100 Ninetales 100 Lapras 100 Pigeot 97 Dragonite 98 Hey what's wrong with yellow and crystal..i really ain't too fond of many of the new pokemon..some of them are pretty ugly.. |

i think the one your thinking of, yoshee, is lileep, or cradily. i think they are grass/rock types too. i aggree, i think it would make a great addition to anyones team.

Yeah, those are the ones. The only thing is, they're kind of slow. But yeah, they are a great addition to a team.
