Wow, you make a rather lot of anime related topics...
I really only know one song from it: Obsession. I listen to it a lot, because it's an awesome song. Yes. And for anyone who is very interested in finding the songs, I belive all- or most- of them were done by See-Saw.

My favorite songs from .hack//SIGN would probably be Obsession, The World, and Aura (the original version). When I first heard Obsession, I didn't listen to it closely enough to know it was actually in English, and I assumed it was in Japanese. :3 This reminds me, I need to upload some .hack//SIGN songs to my computer.
And I personally don't have a problem with lots of anime topics, I love anime. I've never really been one for making my own topics, anyway, so I can't complain. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !

I don't have a problem with eet. Just pointing something out because I have spare time to spare.
Haha, yes. I used to think Obsession was in Japanese, too. But I never really pay too much attention to singing, anyway. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !;

Hmm,
I've never quite been a loyal blown fan to anime. Merely if the series has some value behind it then I try to take the time to watch the show. Value meaning an essence of a moral other than "Boom boom, take forever to kill the villian and watch them die." or something like, "I'm a child who goes to a school to become a ninja, like the twenty other shows like me". However, .Hack//Sign had some qualities to it that made it stronger. It was in its own way a bit of a drama more than action. Of course from time to time it had its nice scenes of a fight here and there, yet these were fast and rare during the middle and beginning episodes. The show had some supenseful moments and mystery behind the matters to make it even more of a drawing sense. It would pull you in and you couldn't help but watch the full thing until it was over for the day.
I agree that the beginning song of Obsession is likely one of the greatest songs to go for an Anime opening. Merely because of its nice upbeat sense and what it adds to the coming show at hand. It has a nice feel to it and the opening that was built to recognize with the song has a lovely aura. It pulls you in and makes you wonder of the events to come, as well as the characters that will be introduced to you over time. The main plot of this tale was also one that the viewer couldn't help but love. The whole main thing was so overworn and pulled that it did get a bit old at times.
Yet the series pulled it together throughout this nice little "show", if we can call it that. Song choice for the moments in it was well done. Something that makes a show, especially something so... overfadded and overpushed like Anime needs to have a good melody behind it. Paranoia Agent, Fooly Cooly, and .Hack seem to have pulled this off. As well as the game series of .Hack// which was an RPG. In the future I also hear they plan to release a version of an MMORPG of .Hack// taking place in "The World" which was explained throughout this large story. While it doesn't reel me in to much, it sounds interesting enough that they could take the global idea and make it into something for all to play together.
Of course though, the main story does take place in an online world as it is. Strange enough, it is as well an MMORPG inside of an RPG. So in reality, explaning this thing is harder than it seems. Yet, it was a wonderful placed together idea, and in the end it was constructed beautifully so that you could take it in with short breaths. There was no need to try to stuff it in your mind to anaylze. It came piece by little piece and each one helped dissolve things so much that you could recognize their factors.

All of the anime you listed there were ones that would make you think and try to figure things out, which was what I loved about them. Of course, Fooly Cooly made you think in a different way... but such is the nature of a show like that. Most of the good anime, these included, do not have very many episodes. Although .hack was expanded into video games and a second series. They already have Fragment out for the PS2. But unfortunately, it's only online multiplayer, not MASSIVE multiplayer. So you can only play with two other people, which are in your party. This is out in Japan, and I know a few people who have ordered it that live in the US. From what I've heard, the game includes a server that is nessisary for online multiplayer.
