It's a pretty good band but not the best in my opinion.

Old school Metallica is good, the newer stuff just doesn't appeal to me.
Apparently I think Rush is one of the best bands ever.

I don't listen to Metal Ica.
But I do listen to other stuff. Right now, the best band that ever wore away at my eardrums is the BeeGees. Or whoever did The Brave Little Toaster music.

The Brave Little Toaster owns. But yeah, Metallica is awesome. You must really think so to have One's lyrics in your signature. Personally, Metallica is my third favorite, Jack Johnson being at the top, and Godsmack in close second.[/size]

No no no it Crush 40 and Sum 41. Metallica is >'ONE'< of my favorite bands and i like their guitar solos but I still like da punk rock more!

I haven't heard Metallica music in a while. I think my 3rd Grade Teacher loved them, or was it The Beatles...?
Besides, I'm more of a System of a Down, Crush 40, Slipknot, Green Day, Gorillaz, Dragonforce, Mudvayne kind of Dragon(There's more).
Like what was repeated, I heard better.

Well, I've had a lot of Metallica exposure because of my dad. I like their softer stuff, like The Memory Remains, though.

I'm not sure exactly what Machinae you were listening to there. Their "trademark" of sorts is that distinctive sound that you incorrectly likened to "pac man". Out of everything of theirs I've heard, I've never heard that "wakka wakka wakka" sound, or anyhting even remotely close to it.
Either way, its still better than |Linkin Park. Laff~

Also to add, although Hammerfall and Dragonforce are both power metal, they are very different. And Machinae Supremecy ftw~ Well, I've had a lot of Metallica exposure because of my dad. Me and my cousin had a point of view about the band HIM. It would be weird if a new band called HER started out playing rock. Then if both of the bands got together, the band would be called THEM. Weird stuff huh? XD
