I notice that my art in the art sections here hasn't got many replies. I'm not upset or freaking out about this, I'm just wondering what I could do that would spark everyone's interest more than I already have done. Please, I love suggests and even criticism. Fire away!

Hm, I would have replied, but I guess I haven't seen much of your art. But a few tips I have are- Don't use deviant art- many people find opening the links a waste of time because they take forever to load Make sure the picture is big and clear Write a short funny or long and descriptive caption above the picture to make the picture more enjoyable to look at And that's about it I guess.

i don't get much advice either. i don't really care though. if people don't look at your art, or don't like it, keep complaints to yourself please. some of the art i once posted got 0 replys. if you really like critisim, and suggestions, i say deviantart is the way to go.

The first and only art piece I posted here (I will post more btw) got a decent amount of replies, but I go to more forums than just here so I get a decent amount of C+C too. I say post it here and at other forums you go to with art boards, and DA isn't a bad idea either.

Comment to get comments. Well, it works in some cases. It pretty much depends on the community. *shrugs*
Also, don't post too many art threads in a short amount of time. People might not want to look at every single one of them.
It may help to give your pictures variance, too. Don't use basically the same pose, but with different colors, characters, etc. People might not find anything interesting to comment on. Or they may just give you the infamous one/two-word comments, like "Cute!" or "Great job!"... unless you don't mind those, of course. ;P

Best not to assume and/or declare it in public.
So, basically, popularity plays a lot into getting comments. But, short of drawing more well known people lots of fan art and trying to get all cozy with others, you can always just keep persisting with your own art. Just keep trying and try not to get discouraged by lack of coverage. Also, a lot of people don't like dA and a few don't even have an account there, so getting comments exclusively from there doesn't extend to everyone. I prefer looking at Photobucket (read: NOT IMAGESHACK or DEVIANTART) links. Also posting your art at a variety of places helps with exposure.
For the record, I think you do a lovely job with your Invader Zim art. It captures the mood and style nicely. That show is also awesome.

I notice there's a lot of diverse opinions over dA... XD
