Prelude:
Gary, an interesting boy, was going into his Sophomore year of high school. He was in a phase of his, he was obsessed with the Mintendo character Boshi from the Maria and Luis games. Well, he had a friend on a forum whose username was Teeh Boshi, Teeh was purposfully mispellt, it's actually Thee Boshi. Anyway, one week his class was making little coat hanger boards, and he makes a Boshi one for Thee, and hides it in a box to keep people from seeing it and messing it up. He also painted a seashell and put "Boshi's Island" on it. Well, not too long into the year, he notices a guy named Norbert drawing none other than Boshi! He had also made a Boshi themed board too. So, Gary wants to befriend him, and this is where the story takes place, close to the end of the year.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week One
During a normal week, Gary decides to try and make contact with Norbert. Now, because Gary stutters and is both very shy and nervous when it comes to people that he doesn't quite know, he wrote a note telling someone to have Gary and Norbert play pool. You see, there was a pool table in the cafeteria, and he hid it in one of the pockets. No one knows if Norbert ever saw it though.
Well, the next day his school's founder, Mrs. Ada, decided to hold a breakfast for everyone that donated to the school. Gary was going to it because he was trying to raise money for a friend of his named Jorge, who had lost some family in a fire not too long ago. Well, one of the speakers there was doing activities, and even the attending high schooler's had to participate. Various activities were done, and in each one, people would have to sit with a different person. Well, towards the end, Norbert came and sat next to Gary for the activity. Gary thought this was because of the note in the pool table, but would later on doubt that. Anyway, the activity was to keep asking what the other person was afraid of over and over again for about five minutes, then it'd switch. The next activity ruined it for Norbert and Gary though. The two people had to hold hands and look into each other's eyes for five minutes. Norbert basically left and Gary's friend, Angie, did it with him. They ended up crossing their eyes and had a good laugh, while everyone else was serious. This day would spark a chain of events, good or bad, no one quite yet knows.
The day after, Gary decided to write a note to Norbert telling him the location of Teeh's gift, hoping that Norbert would see Gary liked Boshi too and would want to become friends. Gary wrote it with his left hand, to cover up his own handwriting, and left it at the table during break where Norbert had been sitting. Now, before break had even come, Gary wrote a note with his right hand explaining what everything was and put it in the box, just for Norbert to see when he looked. Turns out, Norbert's brother, Miran, is the one who looks, and eventually finds the box. A friend of their's who Gary knew from Youth Group, Bill, looks at the note and shows it to Gary. Of course, Gary stages it and makes it look like he just noticed that they were "snooping through his stuff", pretends to panick, and goes outside "for air". He later finds out from his teacher, Ms. Aluka, that Norbert's nickname was Boshi and that he drew it because of the relation. Gary felt very embarassed and left home a bit dissapointed that day.
Day after, Gary writes a note explaining everything, Teeh's gift, the fake handwriting, the act... everything. And gives it to a friend of Norbert and Miran's named Roma. She gives it to them soon after. Later on during break, Gary thinks he hears his name being called, but shrugs it off. He, two teachers, and his friend Chelsea hear it again, they all look up. Gary hears a slight, "You wanna play?" coming from the basketball court where Miran and Norbert are. Gary asks outloud if they were calling him, everyone says yes. So he stands up and throws away his trash, and asks again. They say yes louder so he decides to walk up to the court. Normally, Gary would wave and walk inside, since he isn't athletic and hates all sports, except for Tennis, which Teeh likes. He gets up there and basically stands there stiff as a tree, nervous as could be. The ball, at one point, comes at him and, by spontanious reflex, pushes it away from him. For some reason, they still encourage him, that alone is what kept him playing rather than giving up and sitting on the bench. But something happened, he developed a strange liking for this strange, yet stupid, sport. This would escalade into more happenings. Later on during Aims Prep class, Bill invites Gary to sit at the table with Miran and Norbert. Gary is too shy to say anything, but is still really happy to be sitting with the people he had been wanting to notice him all year. Even though he first thought they were "Freaking druggies with no life and no brains that would pick on every single person, possibly even beat the tar out of them." Gary later become jealous of them until the breakfast day mentioned earlier. Also at lunch, he decided to eat lunch with them, but only if a friend of his, Sally, would join him, since he was still too shy.
Next day, not too much happened between them. In his photography class, he saw really HORRID pictures of himself, acting all goofy and whatnot... then again, we all hate out own pictures most of the time right? He was however going to play basketball after lunch, but his mom picked him up early.
Day after was the beginning of the weekend, and it was going by SO slowly since he wanted to play basketball. But since he doesn't have a hoop at home, it was impossible. He ended up going to Youth Group with his cousin, Nate. They handed out flyers telling people about the church. Gary isn't religious, he just went to the Youth Group to have fun and to get out of the house. When he got back to the church though, he did practice playing basketball with Nate for about an hour, which really helped him out. He later on spent the night at Nate's house, where some funny stuff happened. For instance, Gary got soaked in rain water! You see, Nate's house has holes in the roof, and he was under of the holes. All at once at least 10 drops poured right into him. He later borrowed the clothes of Nate's younger brother, Jake. He left the next morning when his cousins were making a video called Zetto Group, basically a small ripoff of the Buttjack movies. Gary went home and impatiently waited until tomorrow.

Week Two
The new week had begun, and Gary was invited to play basketball by another friend, Ally. He was of course still ridiculously shy and felt embarrased the entire time he was on the court. So he wrote a note explaining why he was so shy to Miran and Norbert. It explained that he was an only child, didn't have many friends growing up, his stuttering, overprotective parents, ect. The idea of this would help him tomorrow.
The next day, Gary was too shy to play basketball, and was a bit dissapointed they hadn't called him out to play, and it showed. A teacher asked him if he was sad, Gary quickly covered it up by saying he was very tired. Towards the middle of break, something happened that made Gary happy about not playing and the decision to bring in his own ball. What happened was that Norbert, Miran, Bill, all of them had accidentally kicked the ball onto the roof! Gary couldn't help but smile, but felt guilty doing it since he thought they might be confused that he didn't play. When Gary walked into the cafeteria to get a drink, he saw Bill in there. Bill asked him why he didn't play, Gary surprisingly told the truth about the shyness.
Day after, Gary wrote a note, similar to one of his previous ones, and explained the whole shyness/stuttering/only child story. Gary trusted Bill since Bill went to the Youth Group too every now and then. Soon before school ended, Gary asked Sally to ask Miran and Jemima (friend from Youth Group) if they could help teach him basketball during break. They both said yes and Gary was happy. Later on, Gary was on the internet after school and found an mp3 of one of his favorite shows, Regdassi, a type of teen soap opera. He was of course very excited about this find, since he had been searching for at least the lyrics to it for a LONG time. A couple minutes later, his wish was granted however as he found nothing less than the lyrics! He literally screamed in class out of sheer impulse. His friend, Angie, who was right next to him, started laughing. This made Gary crack up at his best, into a very high pitched laugh, it lasted for about a minute or two.
Next day, instead of practicing basketball with them, they decided to have a water balloon fight. But since Gary didn't want to get soaked, he stayed out of it. He was of course dissapointed that they forgot, but thought it all for the best since it was Summer after all. After school however, he made up for it when he played basketball for a half hour with his two friends, Angie and Ashton, Angie even said he was getting better! Later that night, Gary bought some hot cheetohs at Tree of Dollars for the people who would practice with him.
Day after, Wrote note in the morning asking Miran and Jemima to practice again after lunch, they say yes. But, when time rolls around, the shyness kicks in... BIG TIME. Gary ends up hiding under the desks in the classroom, until some kids come in. He then goes and hides under the teacher's desk... but they find him there. The teachers notice all the commotion and call everyone out. Gary leaves out of the farthest away door possible and makes a beeline to the bathrooms, and hides there for the remainder of the half hour. He later goes home with a guilty consiounce.
Next day, Gary decided to call him up and explains things to him verbally, easier said than done. He ended up calling a messload of people. First it was Tammy, friend from Youth Group, who gave him Sally's number. Sally gave him Miran, Bill, Marilyn (friend), and Jenny/Jemima's numbers. Ultimatly he ended up called Miran every hour on the hour, hoping he'd answer, but all he got was answering machine. He did eventually get Miran's girlfriend, and she told Gary that Miran was out partying. Gary ended up staying all the way to 4am all for nothing. The entire day he was calling, his parents were on a road trip up north. Gary ended up leaving his phone number and email on the voice messaging system, hoping Miran or Norbert would either call or email him.
Day after, Gary conitnued his relentless calling, determined to talk to Miran before the weekend was over. Gary missed out on going to see Hitchhiking to the Universe, a recent movie that had come out that looked interesting. But Gary's priority was to talk to Miron about what had happened on Friday, about his shyness, and to see if they could become friends. Gary isn't gay of course, he's just a bit eager to rid himself of his shyness and have a type of metamorphosis. (I had to use that word!) At around 8pm, Gary decided to leave a type of joke message to spice things up, "Miran, answer the freaking phone you butthole!". Of course, he said it was a joke right afterwords, just so Miran wouldn't be offended.

Next two days
Next day, Gary having been so unsuccessful at being able to talk to Miran, decided to write a note basically to call him, since he wanted to say everything verbally rather than write it out, since it was getting kind of old. But, on perfect timing as lady luck would have it, both Norbert and Miran didn't show up. Miran was looking for a job and Norbert tagged along. So, thinking that they might come later that day, Gary starts asking people if they'd be staying until 5pm. Sandy, one of his classmates, ended up saying that she lives right next to Miran, and that she'd give him the note. She also said that she had talked to Miran earlier and told Gary that Miran said Gary could call him around 5pmish. Later on that day, Lori, the teachersf aid, walked into the cafeteria while Gary and his friend, Amy, were having a drink. Gary started talking to her and she eventually tickled him in the stomach, combed his hair with her hands, and flung a few drops of water on him just to play around. Lori was notorious for doing things like this, she even asked him if he was gay earlier in the year. He, having Amy as a witness, went and told the principal Ms. Poosh. Before lunch, the student who helped in the office asked Gary if there was a problem between him and Lori. He asked because Lori had just left the school and that she might be fired! Well, when time came, Gary called the number, and got the answering machine. A few other times he called, he got busy signals and someone even said he called the wrong number... even though he pressed redial. Finally at 6pm, he got Miran's girlfriend. She said that Miran was out at a friend's house and that he probably wouldn't be back until 9-10pmish. Earlier he had called Marilyn and she said that Miran thinks that Gary is gay since he calls so much and yada yada yada. And that the next day, she would go and get Gary and bring him to the crowd, she'd even try to get him to talk to Miran in person. This of course freaked Gary out, but thought to himself it'd be for the best. Later on he called Miran again and somebody kept picking up the phone, and then turning it off after about 5 seconds. Gary kept calling and ended up leaving a few messages basically stating that he wasn't gay and all he wants is to talk to him over the phone, ect.
Day after, Gary decides to tell Ashton and Sally about it. He was asking Ashton for advice on what he should do if ga friend thinks hefs gayh. Her advice was to just go up and talk to him, his response was "easier said than done". He let Sally know about it so he could ask her if she could talk to Miran about it and let him know that Gary wasnft gay and that he was just eager to call him. Later that day, the Jr. High teacher Ms. Pelee and Ms. Poosh called Gary into the office to talk to him. It was about him hiding under desks last week and the fact that he had called Miran so many times over the weekend. They told him that it wasnft appropiate behavior for a 15 year old, but theyfd help him talk to them. Basically, Gary had to completely stop writing notes and calling, since it was bothering Miran. Now, Ms. Pelee, Gary, Ms. Poosh, and Miran would be in the same room talking. To start off, Gary would tell Ms. Pelee what he wants to say to Miran, then Ms. Pelee would say it for him, hefd just be in the room with them. After leaving, Gary finds out from Ashton that Miran and Norbert are mad about the joke message he left two days earlier, they apparently didnft take it as a joke and didnft listen to it all the way through to find out it was a joke. Gary goes home a bit bewildered and dissapointed with the way things were currently going. He even felt like giving up on the whole thing, but, against better judgement, decided not to, since he had given up on far too many things in the short time that he had been alive. For the past few days, hefd been talking to a friend of his, Jowshi, he was telling him everything that was going on. So this made him feel a little better, heck, he even posted a type of non-fiction story on the forum they go to!
There will be more, I'll add daily.

^Heheh, thanks, I hope you enjoy it, and here's some more with more to come. -------------------------------------------------------
Next day, Gary comes to school, a bit nervous about the meetings that could take place. Anyway, he decided to write down everything he wanted to say to Miran. He wrote down that everything he wanted to tell Miran he wanted to say to Norbert, that way, he wouldn't be hiding anything. Anyway, he gives it to Ms. Pelee and she tells him that they'll do it tomorrow. Anyway, Miran and Norbert show up and Gary just about sinks into his chair. So, to get it out of his system, he decides to draw, to draw a picture of how he felt the day before when he found out that Miran was ticked. So he makes a mistake, he draws him small and crying in nothing less than a graveyard. The graveyard was basically to show how depressed he had been and how depressed he'd be if things continued going downhill. So break begins, and guess who asks to borrow Gary's ball? Who else but Norbert! Of course, Gary happily says yes. Bill then asks if Gary would like to play basketball. Gary surprisingly turned it down, he was still too mad at himself for everything that had been happening. Well, he finally finishes it, and gives it to Sandy. A couple minutes later, Sally comes in and tells Gary that Norbert took it the wrong way. He thought that he and Miran had been killed and Gary was crying about it, and they asked Sally to tell him "Not to be mean, but not to draw to them again." Gary asked Sally to tell them what it actually meant, and he was fine with not drawing them stuff anymore, especially if it freaked them out. Later on, just before lunch, the class went outside for a little Yoga class some visitors were teaching. Some of the areobics were easy, Gary was even able to do a few some people couldn't. But the hardest by far was the final excersize, they had to squat down and then balance themselves on their hands with their legs and feet slightly in the air kind of behind them, it was fun though. For lunch, he and some others got pizza, since they had perfect attendance all last month. After lunch, Gary went inside and started coloring stuff for a mural everyone was making. He help print and rip out pictures while other people would spray glue them onto the wall. After helping with actual pictures, he decided to color the famous green Boshi, and then another yoshi from another Maria game, Yashi, who was like a blue, punk yoshi who liked cupcakes and would bet them on races. So he went online and printed out a picture of Boshi and a picture of Yashi, got some crayons, and started coloring. Then he remembered about how earlier, Ashton told him that Miran likes Pyro the dragon, a purple dragon from some video games. So he printed it out too and colored it. He cut them out, handed them to Ms. Aluka, and she glued them up while he left for home. Gary got home and couldn't help getting on a treadmill they had just got for free from a neighbor. Gary went on the computer soon after. He talked to Jowshi for a while, had a good time, and just relaxed. Near the end of their conversation, Gary's dad came home from work and wanted him to clean up his room and do the laundry, so they had to stop for the time being. After he was done with his chores, Gary got himself a bowl of ice cream and pm'd another friend of his, Kenyoshi, and asked him for a little help on the matter. About 15 minutes later, Kenyoshi signs on to MSN and they start chatting. Kenyoshi gives Gary some really good tips, he plans to use them too once he's friends with Miran and Norbert, which he predicts could be next week... if all goes well. Gary impatiently awaits the next day, when he'd finally get to tell everything to Miran and Norbert, through Ms. Pelee.

The day after, Gary came to school, pretty sore from the Yoga classes yesterday... and from foolishly getting on the treadmill when he got home! Well he came in and remembered he had to do gardening, his gardening teacher Ms. Vedich, asked him to carry a rabbit she brought in named Part and Part to the gardening area. His friend Angie ended up doing that since he had to go and get a drink. At the gardening class, everyone had to hug Part and Part along with watering the garden, and eating a radish with salt! Which was actually pretty tastey! He later came back to the room where Ms. Pelee was waiting to call him, Miran, and Norbert out for the meeting. They were originally going to have it in the library, but since some people were already in it, they had to have it outside. Gary even brought a song by Hilda Dyff called Soar. It was supposed to give him encouragement, but he didn’t have time. He probably could’ve read a line or two, but Amy (Angie’s sister) wanted to read it. Well they had the meeting and all Gary could think of to say was that he was sorry for calling Miran so many times, Ms. Pelee explained that he had a panic attack last week, he said he didn’t really have alot of friends until High school, and that he was sorry for freaking them out with the notes and drawing. Surprisingly, they accepted the apology and Miran agreed to help him out with basketball when he had spare time, Gary also let them know he didn’t want to be a bother/annoying. However, being put on the spot and with how nervous he was, he forgot to say a few things. Like how he had some hot cheetohs and pop waiting for them, why he turned down playing basketball yesterday, and that it’d be easier for him if they would approach him and talk to him, since he probably couldn’t bring himself to that point for a good time to come. At break, he let Norbert know that he didn’t have to ask to use the ball, he could use it whenever. But Gary didn’t play basketball because his nervers were too shot, and he didn’t feel right if he wasn’t invited, so he continued his day both beating himself up over the meeting, but happy he got it off of his chest. Now, just before school was out, Gary asked Sally to him a favor. Tell Norbert and maybe Miran that they should walk up and talk to him, because if he had to do it himself, the process could take MUCH longer. Gary ended up going home with a good feeling about the future of things to come.

The next day would mark a small, but important, breakthrough for Gary. Now, about four weeks ago, Ms. Pelee offered to buy him lunch sometime if he cleaned out her rabbit cage. Well, the time had come, and Gary had an idea. He'd bring two dollars with him, despite the fact that Ms. Pelee was paying for him, and he'd ask Miran and Norbert if they'd want a Hot chicken soft taco from Taco Bing, all he had to do was muster up the courage to ask them! Well, while he was doing his work, Norbert was paining on a wall at the other side of the room. Miran was paining on a door just behind Gary. Gary kept on turning around, hoping to get a good chance to ask Miran, but it just would'nt come out. Lucky for him, Norbert walked behind him to ask Ms. Aluka something. Gary decided to ask Norbert right as he walked back. Time came, Norbert began walking, Gary kept thinking, "SAY IT! ASK NORBERT, BEFORE HE GETS TOO FAR AWAY!" And in a split second decision, he let out a slight, "Norbert". He heard it and walked over to him. Gary asked him, but Norbert was fine, despite the fact Gary was paying. So, Gary set his eyes on Miran, now with an extra buck in his pocket. About three times when Miran walked by, Gary would just slightly whisper his name. "BUT I'M YELLING AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!" he thought. Just as class ended, he panicked, "Mir.. an". He turned around, but it turns out that he doesn't like Taco Bing. Gary just laughed at the irony, "The ONE time I get the guts to VERBALLY ask something, they BOTH turn me down!". Gary ended up deciding to spend a buck on Sally instead. So, it came time for lunch. They were actually something good, curly fries! Gary ended up getting a bowl of them while he waited for Ms. Pelee to get back with the food. She finally deliveres it, two Hot chicken soft tacos and a Special Burrito. Sally walks over and makes a startling comment, "Sorry Gary, you can have it, I just found out my teacher is buying us all something from Zonic. ... Here's a dollar, sorry about it!" Gary excepted the dollar but shrugged it off with a smile, it wasn't a big deal in his mind. He ended up giving it to Amy, since two tacos would be enough. Gary couldn't finish the last one, he was too full, but didn't want to make everyone mad so he just said it was too spicy for him to eat. He also asked Angie and Ashton to help him practice before school was out, they both said yes. He went and got his ball out of the classroom, gave it to Ashton, and met her at the court. They started playing basketball, prefurably Around the Earth, as practice to get better. Halfway through, guess who comes out to watch, Norbert! He doesn't say anything, but Gary is just happy to have him out. Anyway, he, Angie, and Ashton begin playing. Ashton only gets two baskets, Angie gets four, and (believe it or not, I still don't) Gary got five. Angie gave up after that and school was soon out. Gary decided to play it by himself to get better when Ashton comes let him know that his dad is here. Gary goes home, a bit dissapointed for once that he couldn't stay after school! Later on, he went to Youth Group with Nate and Jake. They were going to spend the night at Ms. Mandy's (the youth group leader) house. Jake didn't want to, but Nate and Gary did. They stayed up late playing various games, like Pyro! He decided to get a good night's sleep, since the church was doing a yard sale the day after.
The day of the yard sale, they all had to wake up early to drive to the church and get everything ready. He, Nate, and some other youth friends went around putting up the signs. The sale was very profitable, making over two hundred dollars. Gary bought a teddy bear and a purple shirt for his mom since it was Mothers' Day Tomorrow, and he bought hismelf a virtually new camera. Gary slept for a few hours at the sale, since things did get a little boring. For the rest of the day, he stayed at Nate's house to get out of his own house. Before going however, they stopped at Spuds Marketplace to pick up some food. And guess who he saw working there bagging groceries, Sally! He waved "Hi." as she waved back. Nate asked him who he was waving to, since he thought he was waving at Jake, they hadn't even seen her there! Anyway, Gary ended up going home after being at Nate's house for the rest of the day. He was very eager for tomorrow to come, but more eager to see what the week ahead would bring him.

The day after was Mother's Day, and Gary was a bit eager to get on with it, mainly since he was eager to go back to school. His mom and him didn't leave to his grandma's house until about eleven, since his mom had a headache. She did like the gifts he got her though. He had gotten her a very nice, purple shirt for free at the yard sale, as well as a two dollar, red colored teddy bear sitting on a whicker chair holding a white heart with the word "Love" written on it. Due to the wrapping, she thought it was a vase, but was caught off guard with what it really was! At his grandma's house, they all began talking and eventually had lunch. For lunch, they had a spinach salad, egg and tuna salad with bread, and drinks of course. There would've been more food, but Gary's aunt and uncle couldn't come since the aunt was sick. They talked about various things, but the funniest conversation was on cussing! Gary's uncle, when he was young, thought "Stupid idiot" topped all the other cuss words, mainly because he got thrown out of church just for saying it. Gary's mom told about how Gary sometimes says, "Dang D*mn*t Dad" when they play around... she said it wrong though, it's actually "Dad D*mn*t". He also heard that his great aunt was thrilled when she heard her dad cuss. They were in a hotel and her dad was either packing or unpacking a suitcase, and was having very bad luck with it. He finally got so frustrated that he said the "D" word. She just layed in bed saying it over and over again to herself out loud, just thrilled by it. The whole conversation was just plain wierd, Gary even heard his own grandma cuss! And she's the "prim and proper" type! That day got that just more weirder, the salad his aunt had made was just delicious, and he let her know it. She then told him what was in it, "Dressing, mushrooms, bacon bits, and spinach"! All the little green leaves were spinach, which really surprised him, but he had about 8 servings anyway. For dessert, they had strawberry angelfood cake. Gary didn't care much for it, but ate it anyway to be polite, the only good part was the strawberries. Later on, they tried this chocolate asparagus which Gary's mom had bought at a really good food store called Traitor John's. It sounds disgusting, but it's in fact really good. The leafy part was made of chocolate, the stem was covered in white chocolate (to resemble Holendaise sauce), with an inside filling of chocolate. It was very, very rich and everyone seemed to like it. They all later went home and Gary impatiently waited for the weekdays to unwind.

The next day, Gary went to school with high expectations, but they were soon burned at break. Norbert went to get Gary's ball, but it was getting flat, like usual. So Miran, Norbert, Roma, Jemima, all of them decided to play Kickball instead. Roma asked Gary if we wanted to play it instead and he said "Yes". They all walked out to some picnic tables and let their teachers know what they were doing, then left for the field with one of the school's dingy balls. Gary chickened out of playing, but decided that if anyone asked, his excuse would be that he hadn't noticed they left until he saw them playing. Gary went inside and drew dragons for the remainder of break. However, some metamorphosis was beginning to take place, and about time too! He secretly felt that he could begin to play basketball with at least Norbert. Gary felt like he was warming up to the idea of verbally talking to him... which is a bit ironic since they were all playing Kickball! Will this all turn into a dejavu? I'm pretty curious myself!
The day after, Gary decided to bring in his old foot pump and donate it to the school. There were two reasons, it could revitalize his basketball, he already had a new electric one at home, and this one was slightly bent. He had pizza for breakfast, since it was easy and on the go. Later on, he told Ms. Aluka and ended up letting the cafeteria ladies stash in the storage, for safekeeping. Before that, he filled up his ball of course. Also, the unthinkable happened. Ms. Lori, who Amy witnessed tickeling Gary last week, was surprisingly back! She had more than likely been suspended from work for the week. But now she's back and ready to make life miserable, with her squeaky voice and all. Later on at break, the others decided to play Kickball again, Gary figured he'd have to tell them that they can play basketball again. His friend Angie said that it could be a phase, where Kickball will be the main sport for a week or two. Hopefully, that won't be the right answer, Gary will try telling Norbert about his ball tomorrow, let's just hope his courage stays high up!

The next day, things happened to be a dejavu. Break comes, they decide to play Kickball, Gary waits it out somewhere, in the cafeteria this time. Now, he didn't have the courage to ask Norbert anything, it was the thought of what Norbert might say that discouraged him. So, Gary took the old saying, "If you can't beat them, join them!" and used it to his advantage. He asked Marilyn to bring him with them when they go to play Kickball tomorrow, despite the fact that he SUCKS. The last time he played it, he got halfway to First Base, but the kids let him take it. Same thing happened for Second Base, but they didn't let him have it so he was out. He then swore that he'd never play it again, but now look what's happening! About an hour after asking Marilyn, Gary began wondering what he got himself into. He'd have to wear his dress shoes, since he doesn't have anything else other than sandals, and he can't run worth crap. But, life's an adventure, and he's going to charge into it at full speed since this time, he ain't giving up!

The day after, things went completely unexpectedly. Well, Gary decided he would play Kickball or Dodgeball with Miran, Norbert, and the group, so he staged an act yet again, and it was quite convincing too! He purposfully hid his sandals the last night and pretended to look for them in the morning. He then pretended to get frustrated and grabbed the only shoes he had, his dress shoes. He figured he'd wear these since they were closed toe, but forgot that they were just a little too small. Anyway, turns out, at break, he and few chosen students, Ashton, Angie, and Sally included, had to go to a meeting with Ms. Ada. Apparently, they were the best of the best students from the school. Ms. Ada let them know it was an honor, but there was more. There were two visitors, and they were inviting them to go to this dinner. At first, they'd greet all the guests who were coming, most of which had donated to the school. And then, they'd have dinner, but it wouldn't be any other old dinner. Most of the people there will be very wealthy, high class people that have been very successful. Now, in the meeting, each of the chosen students had to say why they thought they were chosen for this event. When it came to Gary's turn, he blushed. You see, he explained about the whole helping Jorge and donating to the fire incident (mentioned in the third paragraph of this story). The entire time, he felt as though he was bragging, therefore his face was red. I mean, "Well we raised 361 dollars with some change left over. I gave a speech in front of sixty people about it too." made him feel like he was bragging, and being naturally modest, just wanted to get out of there! So, moving on, school continued as usual, but more would happen after school. Gary stayed three and a half hours late, usually it's just an hour, but his mom had housework to do. After he left, he went to Taco Bing for a little midnoon lunch, since his mom gave him five bucks. Now, he goes in and orders two soft tacos and a small drink. Now, he asks if he's allowed to have free refills, and gets a surprise. The lady asks for the cup back, and gives him a large cup for the price of a small! All he could say was "Thanks!" and "Wow." He offered a tip, but she wouldn't take it, instead, she told him to call the 1-800 Taco Bing number and let know, it'd be better, so he did just that when he got home... and he felt like a somebody. Later on at home, he and Jowshi began talking and Jowshi gives Gary an old forum that isn't currently active, called NintendoUniverse. Gary is made admin and is given the password and everything. So yeah, his day was pretty much made. So, next week, Gary decides he'll just wear sandals and ask, perhaps Marilyn, if she would take him out there then. But for now, he has Friday to enjoy, because he has Photography!

The next day went by fairly smoothly, and Gary did get an answer to a question he's been asking himself. You see, for about the past week, Miran, Norbert, and all of them had been playing something other than basketball. He thought that they knew he liked it, so he thought that because he had made Miran mad, they were avoiding him. Well, come to find out, they're all playing basketball, and he later finds out that they'll play once in a while now since it was getting too hot for it. Photography was FUN! They basically took pictures of the little kids, mainly portrait pictures and stuff like that. Gary was later on picked up and driven home. That night at Youth Group, they all watched half of a movie on the Book of Matt. Ms. Mandy said that they'd be doing mostly Bible Study for a while. Right as she said this, Gary decided he probably wouldn't come anymore, since that was practically torture for him, but he did stay after a little while for pizza! The day after, Gary didn't really do much, it was a lazy, laid back day. However, there was a show coming on at night that he wanted to record, so he asked his mom and she took him down to a dollar store to buy a recording tape. They also stopped at Taco Bing and got some Chalupas. Anyway, Gary got home and ate with his mom out on the pool deck, it was her idea and it was something new after all. Anyway, Gary got back in the house and prepared to record it, but the VCR just spit the tape out, even when he pressed the Record button on the TV. After getting ten minutes into the show without being able to record anything, Gary gave up and went on the computer, where he pretty much talked to Jowshi about things like the forum Jowshi gave him, Nintendouniverse, and stuff like that.

The next day Gary did basically nothing. He surfed the internet, but was bored almost all day. His parents did however take a neighbor out to eat since it was his last day, he was moving out completely next morning.
The day after, Gary began another week of school. Nothing too excited happened. He, Sally, and Angie all worked on math together in the morning. And when it came time for break, no one played anything, it was too hot! Gary pretty much knows that things won't get too fired up until the end of Summer, when it starts getting cooler. It's wierd, usually every year, Gary doesn't want Summer to end, now, he's impatient for it to end! However, he and Angie did play some basketball, at a price. In the extra hour that Gary stays after, he and Angie practiced since he gave her a soda. He had two extras since he was saving two sodas for Miran and Norbert when they teach him how to play... which probably won't happen until after Summer Break, besides, he could bring another can of pop with him tomorrow anyway. So, Gary and Angie again played Around the World to hone in on their aiming skills. Gary came out the winner, again, which really boosted his confidence. Also, he and Angie made a deal. When it got cooler, they both knew that Miran, Norbert, and all of them would start playing basketball again. So, to make him feel a little more at ease, and a little less shy, on the court, Angie would play at break with them, she'd also try to get Ashton out there too, the more the better right? Now, after they were done practicing, they went in the shade to momentarily rest. Angie had put Gary's watch around her can, and it fit too. She also asked for a little more pop, since she was out. So, as Gary went to pour some from his can into hers, the two ends touched and they both got a static shock! Angie's hair was actually standing up! It was pretty funny. She then went to (playfully) slap Gary on top of the head, another electric shock! They ended the day with some laughs before he went home.

The next day wasn't too bad. No one played outside during break because of the heat, just like the day before. However, Gary did make a joke with two of his classmates, Lisa and Jake. Gary was simply walking into the cafeteria when Jake asked if he had any girlfriends. Gary responded that he didn't have any nor wanted any... yet. He then turned around and told Jake (as a joke) that he should've asked if Gary had any boyfriends, and that his was sitting on that bench (where Jake was.) He then turned into the cafeteria, each of them laughing. Angie came in too also to get a drink, she followed him out and back to class, but he was stopped by Lisa. She asked if Gary wanted Jake's phone number. So Gary turns to Jake, kneels down, folds his hands, and asks if he can have an email and a house address too, with a please! All four of them start cracking up, it made his day. Now, mentioned a few days earlier, Gary and a select few were chosen to go to a fancy banquet with over 100 rich people by Ms. Ada. Anyway, they all wore their school ID's as well as school shirts. The dinner, more of a banquet, was being held at Dry Botanical Fields, Ms. Pelee and Ms. Aluka drove them all up. Angie and Gary would greet the guests as they came in for pretty much the duration they were there, which was about an hour. Now for the interesting/good news. They had to introduce themselves, welcome them, and let them know what their goal is, Gary's is an actor. (And earlier, when he was practicing with Ms. Ada, he accidentaly said actress!) But anyway, he told these two people his goal and they said that they have a son in Nitsau, Saxet who shoots movies as a career. They also donate to the school therefore directly know Ms. Ada, and they can keep in touch with her and maybe even work something out! After the dinner, Gary called his mom and told her they were going to the school to get picked up, and he also asks if she could take Angie and Ashton home, since they didn't quite have rides. But guess where they go first, Ice Cream Queen! Gary ends up having a large, Nilla Cone and then remembers his mom will be at the school waiting, so they all pile back into the car and drive to the school, where Gary's mom picks them up and takes them home.
The day after, wasn't anything too eventful. Again, no one played outside due to all the heat. But one thing a bit ironic did happen! Gary and Angie had been studying for a math test all day, and guess what happens, it's canceled until tomorrow! Other than that though, Gary's day was just a normal, go to school then home, kind of day.

Hey mods, you can lock this now. It virtually has no ending, mainly because I don't intend or care to end it anymore.

It's not that people weren't commenting, things happening in life just stopped my enthusiasm for it, I just don't care to finish it anymore, unless this works.
And the good fairy came down, using her magic wand, fixed all the evils and allowed everyone to live happily ever after.
XD, that's the best I'll willingly do.
