Ultima Stadium

I got the idea for this while reading Nintendoland Deathmatches. So, enjoy! ;D

Mecha Red Yoshi: Welcome to the newly built Ultima Stadium! Thanks to the Revival Machines donated by Zeromus, every battle will be to the death. But, don't worry, the losers will be revived after each match. Now, let me introduce my co-host, my alter-ego from Yoshilore.com/forums, Red Yoshi! ;D

Red Yoshi: I'm glad to be here, Mecha. Our first match will be between two friends. Each thinks the other has no chance. I had the opportunity to talk to them before the match started, and opponent #1 has told me he doesn't think it'll be a difficult match, but he's going to be careful anyway. The only thing I could get out of opponent #2 is that she's been studying the mystical ninja arts, and with the fact that her opponent rarely if ever thinks before he attacks, she thinks it'll be a cakewalk winning this battle. I also found out she has the Titan Mitts from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in her possession, so the fact that her strengh isn't as high as her opponent's won't be as much as a problem.

Mecha Red Yoshi: Ah! Here they are now! In the Red Corner, it's Stitch! He does have an obvious advantage of both brawn and brains, but will he be able to get past his feelings for his opponent enough to kill her? For, I found out, he's in love with his opponent!

Red Yoshi: Darn it! We're having technical difficulties. I knew I should have had Kamek install the wiring.

Mecha Red Yoshi: Don't worry. A review will fix things. I know it will.

Red Yoshi: Hmm, it seems that those views were just what we needed. We're back! Also, since Angel helped us fix the wiring, we're letting her be our special star co-host today.

Angel: Thanks, Red! ;D Anyway, where's Mecha?

Red Yoshi: Gone to get a can of Cola.

Angel: Oh.

Red Yoshi: By the way, who do you think will win, Lilo or Stitch?

Angel: Lilo will crush Stitch. I know this because I helped her train, and she has a few abilities now that give her the edge.

Mecha Red Yoshi finally returns...

Mecha Red Yoshi: Now to announce Stitch's opponent! She may be a 9 year old human girl, but don't underestimate her, Lilo!

Lilo enters the stadium to thunderous applause.

Stitch: Are you prepared to lose?

Lilo: Me, lose? You don't stand a chance!

Mecha Red Yoshi: Now, the battlefield will be Core of Auldrant! Players of Tales of the Abyss will recognize this one as where you battle Sync for the second and final time. It is deep in the core of the planet Auldrant in the hold of the battleship Tartarus. The hazards I put in are as follows:

1. There's a hole in the floor that leads to the core.

2. Every 5 minutes an alarm will sound. 15 seconds after that, the battlefield will be exposed to the pressure and heat of the core. There are 5 safe spots our fighters can stand in that aren't exposed.

Both are fatal.

Mecha Red Yoshi: Since the core's pressure and heat are so high, not even Stitch could survive it.

Red Yoshi: I have bad news. We're having more technical problems.

Mecha Red Yoshi: Darn it! Wh-

Angel: -ould do it.

Mecha: Finally we're back! The fighters are in position. Fight!

Both Lilo and Stitch start out by rushing at each other and grappling.

Red: Hmm, it seems Lilo and Stitch are evenly matched since Lilo has the Titan Mitts.

They break away after a while.

Lilo: Hmph, it seems I don't need these after all.*takes off the Titan Mitts and throws them away*

Stitch: Huh!?! Why'd you go and do that ?

Lilo: Because without them, I can use my ninja arts that I learned. Here's one I learned from Pikachu! Double Team!

Suddenly, there are at least 40 Lilos and things don't look good for Stitch. But, just then, the alarm sounds.

Lilo&Stitch: Uh-oh.

Luckily, both are able to make it to a safe spot, but unluckily for Lilo, only 3 of her copies are able to. When it passes, Lilo wastes no time in launching a couple Shadow Balls in Stitch's general direction.

Mecha: How many abilities did Lilo learn for this match anyway?

Angel: Five.

Unluckily, none of them hit. Stitch respondes to this by climbing up the side and leaping at one of the 4 lilos, but unluckily for him it turns out to be the wrong one.

Lilo quickly jumps at Stitch, but Stitch knocks her away, right into the hole in the floor.

Angel: Oh no! Lilo lost!

Mecha: Not quite. Based on her trajectory, she might have been able to grab on to the underhanging. A few minutes pass, then, all of a sudden, a burst of energy explodes out of the top hitting Stitch. Lilo also falls out of the hole made by the energy. Although, when she lands, since it is a drop of 45 feet, she ends up breaking a leg.

Mecha: That has got to hurt.

Red: Yes, and it seems that burst of energy paralyzed Stitch. Do you think either one of them can make it to a safe point in time?

Mecha: Lilo might, but Stitch is too far away from one, but if he moves fast enough, he might be able to get to Lilo quick enough to kill her before the energy from the core comes.

Lilo crawls in agony to a safe point while Stitch moves a little quicker to try to end the match before the energy can come.

Lilo makes it 5 seconds after the alarm starts, but Stitch doesn't make it in time.

The energy washes over the deck, ending Stitch's dreams of victory.

Red: And we have a winner! Lilo!

Back in the lockerroom...

Mecha: What's your view on the fight, Stitch?

Stitch: That was a pretty neat tactic she used at the end. I still can't believe I lost.

Mecha: What about you Lilo?

Lilo: Everything went according to plan. I'm glad I won.

Mecha: And there you have it! The end of the first match! Tune in next time when Ganondorf takes on his alter-ego, Ganon!
