Before I start with the actual RP, I'd like to specify a few things.
Firstly, this RP is for anyone and everyone, good guys, bad guys, random guys, anything that fancy's you. You can tag along with me, you can try to hinder me, I don't care! The only thing I ask is that you keep it from becoming total randomness, say you make a character and never have contact with me at all, then it'd be odd. I have an idea for this RP, yet I'd like some twists from the RPers themselves, add some spice to the story. You know, if there's some new situation that demands immediate attention, then I'll probably end up going along with it, side-quests rock! So yeah, I'm invite one and all, good fellows and villains alike, to RP their hearts out in this.
Secondly, you can join at any time you desire, you don't need to ask permission, the more, the merrier.
Well, without further ado... here goes.

Warm summer breeze, very comfortable weather, just how I liked it. I was walking along through the trees with a good buddy of mine. We didn't talk much, only idle, daily talk. We were more enjoying the walk more than anything else. Then something, something vague yet shone bright appeared before us, I squinted, trying to identify what this was. No one else was around, only my friend and I.

KAra was in the city some wqays away doing her usual hiding and snatching food when she noticd the light over the horizen. she was curious about it but was to nervous to go out iin the day time when shew could be spoted so she stayed hidden waiting for dark to come hoping she could see whats going on

"I don't know..." I told him, and shortly after, the bright light faded away, and before us flew a white yoshi, as white as snow. It stayed in the air in front of both of us, and I couldn't help but to feel like this yoshi meant no threat to us. It looked at me, and signaled me to come forward. I looked at my friend, then back at the other yoshi, and I followed it. When we were off a bit, all alone, it flew down to me, and spoke up, "YW.. you have been chosen."
"Chosen? Chosen for what?"
"You have been chosen by us to rid the world of evil, for that evil is threatening the lives of all, and that evil is Bowser."
"Me? Why me?"
"You're special, and you don't know it, that is why you are the only one who can go."
"..." I couldn't find any words for this, I was still pretty taken away by all this.
"You must make your way to Bowser's Castle, and defeat Bowser once and for all, and your mission given upon you from us will succeed. Though beware, many hardships will crawl your way, new friends, new foes, be prepared to face a lot. But we have chosen you for one reason, we know you will succeed."
"But... who are you?"
"You must save everyone YW, before it's too late." At that, the entity disappeared. Something else appeared before me, and I looked at it, "Take this staff," I heard the entity's voice in my head, "It will be of help to you."
I stood there for a few minutes, none too sure of what to do really, I grasped the staff, and held it. It seemed like a normal staff to me, and I slowly made my way back to my friend.

I looked in amazement at what i saw, "Wow! That was so cool!" I moved closer to YW "the chosen eh? that reminds me of something but i cant put my finger on it." I looked at his staff he was holding, "Wonder what the staff is for though?" I scratched my head in thought...

"Then you heard what I have to do right?" I sighed slightly. "Guess I'll go pack my things and head off, I'll miss all you guys, and I hope that I'll come back someday." I slowly walked past Toshi, heading to get my things, clearly none too happy about leaving.

I looked at YW sharply "On your own?" I grabbed his shoulder "Oh no no no dude, i'm going with you, i heard what he said, but you are not doing this on your own!"

I was taken back by this, but retorted, "I can't let you get in trouble! It'll be dangerous out there, who knows what will happen! I'd rather know you're safe here rather than risk the possibility of getting hurt or even worse out there!" I looked to the side when I said that, "This was giving upon me and I have to do it, you my friend are in no obligation to."

"Dude, this may not be a safe journey, but you want it to be succesful dont you?" I looked at him for a bit, "The more of us there is, the easier it is to actually defeat Bowser!" I shook my head "One of us isnt gonna be able to do it, you need someone to help you and give you morale along the way, after all..." I pointed to my sword and shield "...I am a swordsman!"

"Toshi..... I.... .... thanks." I bowed my head to him in thanks, and looked at him. I think we shouldn't leave right away, take some time to prepare and absorb what's happening, I know I need that time.." And I motioned to him, and we walked off towards home, to preapre to meet my fate.

kara stayed hidden untill the night finaly came but by then the light was gone, sje sighed having missed her chance and snlunk off into the allyways and back streets trying to avoid being seenmn , she makes her way back to an large swer pipe and climbes in as it was her home and she wondered what the light was

"Oh, that. Someone gave it to me..." I trailed off, as I went over to get my stuff, clearly not all that happy in this situation. How am I supposed to tell him I'm leaving, and I may never make it back? How's he going to take that? I took provisions, I took knick-knacks here and there, and realized I should be travelling light, so I put them back. I let off a great sigh as I knew this was one of the last times I'd be here.

I was peeking in the window, careful that I wasn't seen and that my scent couldn't be picked up.
"YW has a quest huh..." I wispered.
When I saw the opportunity to quest, I took it. I had nothing to ready, my loot was all hidden, I had nothing to bring except that bag of coins in my stomach, what else? I no longer used staffs. It was settled, I would follow him. But quietly of course.
I ran to the beach and pretended I had layed there all day, which suddenly I found I lay over an hour. When I woke up... I was toast.
My underside was red and my blueish color turned gray, sunburn. I quickly went in the shade and touched the red. A white mark stayed, then slowly vanished. This would complicate things...

red.yoshi watched yw pack. he stood by his door leaning on the side with his arms folded, and leg crossed.
red.yoshi: ahh, sleeping over toshis again? dont forget to bring your bed this time! your packing everthing for goodness sakes!

What was the cure for sunburns here again? Honey? Fructose? It was something sugary... but there was none (although I forgot where fructose was found and it was abundant  ) so I would live with the sunburn. Now all I had to do was wait for the quest to start. |
