Chaos Rising

intro

When Bowser returned again he threw a great darkness over the world that lasted for many years untill his own ambission caused his destruction of his empire. Now a number of factions are rising to take over the land and chaos is brewing. There is endless onslaught between factions and one by one they are falling. The land is being plunged into a world war and the only ones who can stop it are the yoshies.

You each recieve an SOS signal coming from a enemy faction's facility. The message tell you to meet on the 17th floor and be aware that there are gaurds of that faction patrolling the facility. It says everything will be explained then.

Gildayoshi crossed his fingers and pressed send. This was his last hope. He was sitting in a security room on the 17th floor which was by the most part, empty. He didn't have to worry about the gaurds finding him but if they caught just a single yoshi the plan would be ruined. He looked at the LCD moniters a gaurd was coming into the security room.

[Yoshee&Champ]

"?" I suddenly got an SOS from out of nowhere on my mini-computer. "Seventeenth floor, guards on patrol, sounds like fun!" I grabbed my backpack with many gadgets and a few supplies and headed out of my treehouse. I turned towards where the signal had come from, and trudged my way over. "Let's hope I don't get caught." I said to myslef, and snuck behind some bushes to see of anyone was coming.

[Teo]

I was just peacefully sleeping the day away...again. I'd like to fly around the world, but I always want to lie a few more minutes. *Sigh.* I starred up at the sky, then it took me five seconds to realize a raven was brushing up above me on a branch. I rolled out of the way as it 'let it drop' where I had been sitting. I looked at it in disgust as it flew away. I looked back in the sand to see if my spot was still sanitary...when I saw a message. An SOS, from guess who? Enemy headquarters. Heavily guarded...well, clearly I wasn't EXPECTED. They would have sent an invitation and said they'd be expecting us. Maybe a spy snuck in! Let's take a looky.

I suddenly realized I had no idea where in the world to go...so I saw the Raven, crossing the sea. I sprouted dragon wings and followed far behind it.

gildayoshi hid in a corner. The gaurd obviously realized the security room was in use and he was about to pull the alarm when gildayoshi put some extra spring into a punch. "oof" the gaurd fell to the floor and was unconsious. Hopefully no one would realize that he was gone. Gildayoshi dragged the gaurd into a supply room. He wouldn't wake up for a couple hours.

No one was around, except for the guards on the other side of the bush. "Let's try the old tricks." I said to myself. I tossed a rock that hit a tree a ways away from me. The guards all rushed to check it out, and I dashed towards a door. Running inside, it got darker. I waited for my eyes too adjust, then kept running. Were there elevators or did I have to take the stairs? Bingo! I saw an elevator around a corner. There were probably guards inside. I took a deep breath, and charged at the door, pressing the 'up' button and waiting for the guards inside to come out, if they did.

He needed more though. A lot more. The first mission was to infiltrate the lower facilty were the enemy faction known as "Koopa's Flame" was working on aa top secret project known as "Chaos Rising". The operation would throw the world into something far worse than a world war. It's effect would be so great that it would destroy all technology except for their own. Thus, the could easily take control of the land. In the end some balance would be restored but part of the operation was to destroy all threats. The yoshies were one of them.

Gildayoshi knew about the operation because he by chance or destiny, intersepted the orders and plans. The first operation was to elemanate the yoshies by using a newly developed bio bomb. The bio bomb targeted certain DNA forms and would infect them cause the host to die within seconds. Why not a normal bomb? Becuase the could whipe out all yoshies but it wouldn't harm even a single one of their own soldeirs.

Gildayoshi choose this minor facility because the plans for the bomb were hidden deep below in a underground vault. It was extremely top secret and probably none of the solders knew about it. Gildayoshi needed to replicate the plans and replace it with some plans for a bomb that would explode 1 hour after it was built. This was because the bomb would be stored at a large facility about 45 minutes after it was built. Not only would it slow the project, but it would destroy one of the fraction's core facilities.


This was only the begining of the plan.

[Moot]

British laid awake on his couch, having been unable to sleep all night, from thinking about... things. Nothing is particular, nothing too important. Just things...

The silence was broken as an alrm on his computer went off, signalling a new message had arrived. He pulled himself up from the couch, and dropped into the chair infront of the computer.

1 NEW MESSAGE

urgent

meet me at these gps coordinates [//encrypted s.342.j8*]

find me on the 17th floor of the complex

be prerpared for resistance

come alone

"...What the hell is that?" He was about to dismiss the entire thing until the coordinates in the message were decoded. "These seem familiar..." He opened up a map program, fed in the details and shortly a satellite image appered onscreen. "I knew it, I HAVE been there before... to the gate anyway. I got chased off, and left..." Now at least he had more of an incentive to check out this bizarre request.

British grabbed a holdall, threw on his trenchcoat and went outside to his garage.

"Lets see what I have left..." He pulled out a small card from an inside pocket, and pressed it into a thin crack in the wall. A buzzing sound was heard for a few second, and the card spat itself out of the wall. A moment later, the wall behind him opened revealing his personal armoury. "Its great what mercenary wages can buy you..."

He casually stepped inside, and pulled his ASMD from the wall, as well as a few extra charges, Ho also grabbed the FN P90 and a couple magazines and stuffed them into the holdall. Almost as an after thought, he also picked up the FN Five-seveN and placed it in the holster concealed on the inside of his jacket.

While stowing his sidearm, he also pulled out the keys to his motorcycle, slung the bag over the back, jumped on and set off to the location in the message. He pressed a couple of buttons on the dash of his bike, and the garage doors locked behind him.

"Man, I don't even know what the heck I'm going to be doing here, and here I am driving off anyways..."

Within an hour or so, he'd be at the destination.

red.yoshi appeared. a village. this was a strange new place to him, so he started sniffing. he bumped into a man, well a very tiny one. an elf. "why, hello there" said the elf with a smile. red.yoshi was so started, he almost fell to the ground. he started running away. a net surrounded him, and somthing sharp in his back. slowly...closing..his...eyes...

[Midnight]

Sitting on his couch at home was a Yoshi of about 21,garbed in a mage robe.The room had been eerily quiet,until the message suddenly popped up."Hrrmph!"he gave a strange growl,whipping out his sword at the odd sound.He then put it away,quite embarrased.Good thing no one was looking.He read over the message carefully,muttering a single sound."Hmm..."((He will come to say that a lot later XD))
He crawled underneath his couch,kicking a panel on the wall.It flung open,transporting him to the 17th floor in milliseconds.He flew out of the vent and into the room,saying nothing.

Gild sat down and thought. It was too simple. The plans were to easy to intercept it was almost as if...

A trap. It had to be. But why? Why not just blow the bomb instead of luring all the powerfull yoshies here?

It couldn't be to get a easier way into yoshi lands, that was no prob for an army. Why not just blow it up with all of them inside?

He just couldn't get his finger on it when it hit him. They never did develop a bio bomb...it was to complex to be real.

So it was a trap. But thats a chace to make the hunters the hunted. Trapping a trap can be an effective stratigy. He had to do something obvious. They would suspect them to do something unobvious to advoid attention.


It started to make sense why there weren't many gaurds. A squad would prob bust the door open any minute. He needed extra firepower- fast.

gild bashed open the door and ran to the supply room were the gaurd was laying. A set of guns was sitting on a rack. He took 2 magnums, 2 sub macgine guns, and a rifle. He had used guns before. He was deffinatly better at magic but he had to use his only resource. He tucked the sub machine guns in his cloak and slumg the rifle on his back. He hadn't used a gun as long as he could remember. Which was only a few years because of amnesia. He looked out a window." A squad of 4 was bustin down the first floor door". He took the stairs down.

The was one in the hall. He pick off a few shots and the...elf... fell to the ground. "Elves?"

Anouther memeber came running down "man down repeat man down"


He pick the rest of the round off at the second gaurd. "darn it" he had forgotten to get extra magasines. He pulled out the sub machines guns and shot down the remaining gaurds. He sighed.

Luck or was he a gunslinger?

Three guards... little human-looking things... stared up at me from the elevator. "What the heck!?" I exclaimed, and they all suddenly pointed odd-looking guns at me. Oh no, you don't. I thought and swung my tail around, knocking the guns from their hands. No one pointed a gun at me and got away with it! I punched one and quickly brought out my Tennis raquet, bashing one over the head and knocking it into the other guard. I jumped into the elevator and pressed the '17' button. I felt the elevator start to rise, and the unconcious guards slumped to the floor. The elevator came to a stop, and I leaped out, somersaulting over the floor and poising with my raquet over my head. Okay, I hope no one saw me do that... I sweatdropped and got up. Aha, the door! I sprinted over to the door that the SOS told me to go to, and threw open the door.

The raven was mecanical...I could smell no life. I had followed it to a building across the sea. Then it self destructed. I counted the floors. One... two... five... ten... seventeen! I simply took speed, eliminated my wings, rolled into a ball and smashed a window. I looked around, there was NOTHING on this floor! Oh wait a minute... I thought... I had counted all the floors... then I thought, I must be in an England type of place where they do count the ground floor as the first. I gave myself dragon weight and fell right through, spotting Yoshee with her tennis raquet poised above her like a sword. "Hello, you too?"

I stopped short hearing someone behind me. I whipped around to face my assailant. "? ... Oh." It was another Yoshi. "Yeah, I'm looking for a guy called Guildayoshi, I think. Oh, by the way, I'm Yoshee." I held out my hand to shake the other Yoshi's.

[Teo]

"I'm Teo, and I'm not sure why I'm here aside from some mechanical bird leading me here and having nooothing better to do." I said shaking the other's hands. For now, I was a totally normal looking person, I would save my other traits for later.

[Moot]

British had been driving for around an hour or, seemingly through the middle of nowhere, but eventually he noticed a building over the brow of a hill.

"This must be the place..."

He pulled up outside the gates, usually there would have been a guard in the gatehouse shouting at him to go away... there was no one in there, and no guards out in the yard, either...

British jumped off his bike, climbed over the gate and dropped into the compound. He took a step into the gatehouse to see if the security cameras were still functioning, maybe they could shed some light on what was going on here. Most of the monitors were showing static, but a few others were pointed at empty rooms, where it look like there should have been guards, but the place was deserted. He was about to leave when out of the corner of his eye he saw something move on the monitor labelled "Floor 17 East".

"Hello, what have we here...My contact is on the 17th floor, I wonder if this is the same guy. All the more reason for me to find out."

He stepped outside, and made his way over the the entrance doors. Looking around, there were a few spent bullet casings scattered around the place. Obviously someone was fighting here earlier... but how long ago, and where were they now? Walking up to the actual entrance doors, one door was slightly open. Usually places like this were locked down, and security was nowhere to be seen.

British shoved open the door and stepped inside. More empty shell casings... yet still no people. Just in case there was anyboy left inside, British pulled out his FN Five-seveN and screwed on a silencer. If there were angry guys in here, the whole place shouldn't have to know he was here if push came to shove.

There was a sound coming from somewhere, which took British by surprise, the whole area had been silent, save for a few spots of rain outside. He crept over to the source of the noise, and found an elevator, which hopefully was working. The sound turned out to be the door trying to close but there was something wedged in it, stopping the elevator from functioning. He walked up, to find there was a smallish body in there wedging the door open, definately not a full sized person, at least, but not a child either. He checked for any signs of life. "Hmm... Dead." Out of the corner of his eye he noticed some marks on the wall but thought nothing of them. "Obviously theres someone here... I wonder if the guy on the CCTV did this..."

Regardless, he shoved the body out of the door way, and pushed the button for the 17th floor. After a second or so, the elevator shook a little, then slowly crawled up the elevator shaft to the 17th floor.

[Midnight]

"Despite the many midgets outside,I have made a safe arrival.I should hope all is well?What is the trouble..."his voice was rough and cold,as if he had never spoken before.His hand rested on his swordhilt,proving that he was ready for the task at hand.But the only reason his sword was even withdrawn,was because of his one flaw,the reason he couldn't stand up straight.He was missing a leg.

[Teo]

"Friend or foe?" I said taking a fighting stance to the new arrival. "Well of course you'll say friend, wether you are or not, what am I saying?"

[Yoshee&Champ]

"It seems as if our new 'friend' is a Yoshi, so I'm guessing... friend." I turned to face the newcomer. "I'm Yoshee, who are you?" It was best if I knew my teammates, I guessed. Then, I heard something in the elevator I had come through.

Gilda returned to the 17th floor. He was feeling dizzy. His magic was really getting low. He needed to relinquish it. He checked the security cameras. He recognized one of the Yoshi's faces. A name came to mind. British...no not that British but his father... his head began to throb. It hurt to try and remember the past. There was a guard on the 16th floor coming up the stairs.

Gilda Yoshi took the Skull of shadows, his last source of magic he could use.

The guard was walking up the stairs when suddenly, he felt tired. Really tired. He suddenly fainted when he reached the top of the stairs.

Gilda had drain all the magical energy out of the elf. Elves had high magic even if they had never cast a spell in their life. He dragged the unconscious elf back to the supply room. Gilda could probably last a little bit now without having to drain someone. The only thing that could give use descent amount of magic was a spot were energy focuses. There were only 3 places left that he knew of like that. And they were far away. Close physically but far away from the chaos and suffering of the real world.

Nearly all the yoshies were here now, good.

[Midnight]

He turned to the others."If you are speaking to me,my name is Destruir..."He was having a much better time at keeping his balance,now that he was using his sword.He had a fake leg that he could use,he simply chose not to.It was such a hassle to put on.He then looked to Teo."If you are my friend,I am your friend.If you are my foe,I am your foe..."he said coldly.
