Sleeping might be necessary, if he was going to do anything, Charon realized. Of course, he was on the Dark side this time, and Champ was clearly on the Light, so that created difficulties. He would have to lure them to somewhere, after they helped him out. That sounded right, he might pass the test. But... that would make him a traitor, and he didn't like that idea. He senced what... concern in that light blue Yoshi? Loss of one.. no, two others? Champ and... Nate. He knew of a Nate. Maybe he wouldn't have to be a traitor after all... <Take a nap... Enrique.> Yeah, that was his name.

What was that now? Distrust? How could he have forgotten the one simple things everything from above wanted: Trust. Charon scuffed a blue vulture talon on the ground, paws behind his back. Maybe the "cute' look he had would work. It almost always did...

His eyes got a shade bluer, and his cheeks got a little red. He wasn't really trying, it was his most useful ability against whomever he was dealing with. He often used his cute look to get away from enemies before he fell down int othe Shadow World.
Oh, good. Enrique was starting to fall asleep. He also had something Champ didn't: His beautiful singing voice. He started purring, then humming a little.

I finally gave in and fell asleep. Hopefully, nothing bad happens... Maybe I can have dreams that will help me get out of here...

Charon stopped humming. The other ones that came still seemed unconsious, so he was safe. That was the first time in a while he had had contact with some one else in a while, and it had startled him. Well, now he can do his evil plotting to escape and somehow help everyone out. A brick fell out of nowhere and hit Charon on the head. He scratched the spot where it hit and tried to think... maybe that brick had given him the brilliant idea he had, or maybe it was being related to Champ, he didn't know. At least he had the idea now...
