No, I did not have a snow day today; I just wanted to make an RP and I just couldn't resist.
Anyone can join in at any time. Just don't start off immediately with a huge fight. We'll eventually get there though, but not right away.
I woke up in the morning and looked out the window to the sight of snow on the ground, and lots of it. I turned on the radio and heard that we had 14 inches of snow last night. Shortly thereafter came the school closings; all the schools in the area are closed. I leaped out of bed extremely excited. "Woohoo!!! No school today!" I was so excited that, without thinking, I ran outside and did a faceplant in the snow.

My role is a school train driver, a school train is like a school bus only it takes kids to an fro at the main school district, ed. county. the engine that usally pulls it is a steam engine.
Ultraloco: well, I won't have to work today.
(shows me walking outside with a coat)
let's just hope that the snowplow dosn't clear the route!

I woke up cold...personally, I didn't live in a house, the weather was always nice. Well, not today!! I lept up-or at least tried to-to find I couldn't get up...I was being weighed down by snow!!

OOC: I'm human in this one.
I woke up in my old home down in my workshop. I was working on a new invention, but I must've fell asleep. The next thing I knew, it was cold! I was about to freeze my tail off. I went upstairs and it was still cold. as soon as I opened my door, a pile of snow hit it in the head. I looked around and screamed "SNOW DAY!". I went outside on my Hover Shoes on so I won't freeze my feet or legs if I sunk.

Ishathod (for those of you who don't know who Ishathod is, he's my pet stingray) saw me act like a lunatic from the door of my house. <Oh my God, Enrique, are you some kind of moron or something?!> "No, Ishathod! I'm just excited that we don't have school today!" <Well, you don't have a jacket on!> This was true; I didn't bother to put on my ski jacket on before I ran outside. "Alright..." I brushed myself off and put on my ski jacket, followed by another faceplant in the snow. <You're crazy, Enrique.> "Why don't you join me?" Ishathod looks at the thermometer nearby. <It's too cold! It's only 15 out there!> "Only 15?! It's not that bad!" <Yes it is!> "You wimp."

Keroni was flying around the galaxy(Keroni is an alian green dog thing  ) when he spotted the planet Earth. He desided to stop there for a moment befor he went to galaxy school. Instead, he got a tad to close to a point where it was snowing. "What the?" The snow was damaging his UFO. He tryed pushing many buttons but it was no use. His ship lost controll and headed strait twords the ground. He injected out of his seat as the UFO headed twords an area of snow. "I guess there is no school for me...." |

<Ha ha!> Champ cheered from the window. <What, did you finally figure out what a Barbie is?> Charon asked Champ. Champ rolled his eyes. "Alright, settle down." I looked out the window. There was something rolling around... in a snowdrift! "Snow Day! Yippee!" I didn't have school, but this would mean my friends were probably celebrating. I slipped on a jacket, put on woolier socks than the ones I had on, and grabbed some gloves before heading out the door. <Hey, wait for us!> Champ leaped onto my shoulder and Charon stayed around the door. <I'll meet you guys... in a while...> He went back inside.
I went over to the snowdrift. "Hey, are you okay?" I saw something green and furry... <Let's hope it isn't a Martian.> The green furry thing muttered something and Champ fell backwards off my shoulder into the snow.

I dragged Ishathod outside, into the snow. <AH! Whadja do that for?!> "Why not?" <It's cold out here!> "Quit being a big baby!" Ishathod whined some more; I threw some snow on him and I swear he almost wanted to cry. He whined louder than ever. "Oh, it's not that bad." <Enrique, I'm supposed to live in tropical waters! Not Upstate New York!> "Upstate New York is not that bad all the time." <Well, it gets cold!> Ishathod and I continued to argue. Four minutes later, Ishathod gave up. <Fine. I'll play outside today.> "That's what I thought."

Nightfox and Rosa,the mouse Chao,had woken up only seconds ago,but were already pressed up against the window."Snow...?"Rosa tapped on the window with her tail,watching icicles fall."Quick,Rosa!Turn on the TV!School closures!"
Rosa rushed up to the TV,waiting.
"Come on,come on..."Nightfox's foot was tapping on the floor.
And now for our list of school closures...
"Ok Rosa,shut up for a second!"
Her school's name had been mentioned.
"YES!Let's go outside before it melts or something!"
Nightfox threw on the typical midriff blazer and shorts,without realizing how non-winter-appropriate it was,and ran outside,Rosa floating close behind.

red woke up at 10:00 am with a wierd feeling in his stomach. was it sickness? he didnt know. he opened his windowshade and found out that it was daylight! no one ever woke him up for school! "what the heck?" said red, as he pulled on his boots, and ran downstairs. he looked outside to see everything in a blanket of white! "wow, already! and its only november!" he pulled a scarf over his neck covering his precious collar, and ran outside.

Keroni looked twords Champ and helped him out of the snow and handed him to Yoshee. "I do believe this is yours." He then walked into his recked UFO and pulled out a small scanning like device. He scanned the ground below him and the sky. "Hmmmm, apparently I am in dimension 3rd Earth, Yoshi Island. Just perfect, I am 4 light years away from my school and my UFO will take forever to fix on this primitive planet."

"...Thanks." Was all I could bring myself to say. The thing seemed to know exactly where he was, although he said some words I didn't recognize. Champ stared at it suspiciously as he "scanned" the ground and sky. <UFO's are unidentified flying objects. You apparently know what it is, so you ship would be considered an IFO.> He finally stated.

red goes to the field. its a huge snow desert. he gathers snow together to start build a snow fort. the snow is almost up to his waist, and it keeps on falling! he packs the snow under where hes going to build with his feet.

The snow falls steadily, almost as if I'll be buried soon. I walk with the snow up to over my knees; Ishathod just glides over it, but he still complains constantly about the below-freezing temperature. As he rambles on, I just ignore him, wandering about the yard and embracing the falling snowflakes. With my mind lost in a winter wonderland feeling, I fall on my back into the snowflakes, staring at the sky, without a care in the world. <Uh, Enrique, you alive?> I absentmindedly ignore Ishathod, glazing into the cloudy sky. Ishathod jumps on me to grab my attention. <Hey, Enrique! Wake up!> "I am awake, Ishathod." Ishathod rolls his eyes as I smile, continuing to stare at the clouds and the falling snow.
