Your Yoshi Story,

[Teo]

"Wah..?" There were now two figures in the air! Still far off to see them...probably a good distance for them to see a several thousand pound silver dragon...

Two other people...two other odd beings...they appear the same day I become a yoshi and a dragon...unless I've never noticed such things before. I let out a tongue of flames in the air to see how they would react to me.

[Wildfire the Dragon]

I saw that 'thing', it was a real Dragon! I was amazed but got scared, I mean just staring into a Dragon is bad enough, now one's right in front of me!
'Oh Boy! A Dragon is in front of me, what should I do!'

I never seen that one before. I read a lot about Dragons, I know silvers are rare, but are they dangerous?

I quickly jump back and held my hand in front of him.

"Li...Listen Dragon! I'm...n..not afraid to attack! Don't come any closer!"

I'm a big lair, I was so scared, I'm also just making the most dangerous bluff, I can't use my wind abilities, cause I never had them.
'What is it doing? I bet it's going to attack, or eat me, that's for sure!'
I didn't want to be a coward, I didn't care what that Dragon would do.

[Yoshiko]

Yoshiko blinked as he saw the large jet of flames erupt from one figure. He sighed, using his amazingly wonderful Yoshi eyesight, despite the fact he used to have to use glasses. Then he noticed it was truly -- a really, real Dragon. "Oh, I wish John was here..." He said to himself, referring back to his old Dragyn (my own spelling, if you don't mind) loving friend. And he noticed it was a Silver one as well, which brought back memories of one of his favorite PlayStation 2 games, Radiata Stories. "In the game that guy was uber... I don't even want to think about it." He said quietly as he soared through the air. "...I wonder if he's the same..." Yoshiko said, watching the Dragyn. This was trouble. If he was the REAL Yoshiko, he'd be able to conjure fire at his will, but he didn't think he'd have teh ability to do that now. It was impossible, creating fire from thin air! Yoshiko even knew that, no matter how dumb he was sometimes!
I wish I could... He thought. I could try... Ko clenched his fist, then released it, and felt the tiniest bit of heat in his hand. "It's only my body heat... It's gotta be..."

[Teo]

I looked at the two figures...would I approach any of them? Should I? One was saying he wasn't scared of me...which wasn't my first intention anyhow.

I decided it might be best to go over to the second figure, which at a closer look...was a black yoshi! Alright! Another yoshi! I flew over to it, seemingly quick for my massive body weight, and stopped a few feet in front of it. It was a black yoshi with wings alright. I just starred at him, not quite sure what to do right now. I wondered if I would even speak English...or if it would.

[Wildfire the Dragon]

I saw that Dragon near another Yoshi down below.
"Another Yoshi, but what is that Dragon doing?"
I didn't like the looks of this, I mean a Dragon staring at someone like that is just...wrong and scary. I got scared, but also upset.
"I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid."
I clenched my teeth and clutched my fist. I wasn't going to wait and see what happen. i held my fist up and threw it down, releasing Wind Energy at the Dragon. As soon as I look...

"Something tells me that was the worst thing to do...Aw crap."

[Enrique]

Tuesday was fun. After I woke up, I found a stray apple on the counter from halfway down the hall. I opened my mouth; a long, stretchy tongue shot out my mouth and stopped only to reach the apple. However, when it did stop, my tongue receded back rapidly, like a rubber band, into my mouth. That was an exciting sensation. The apple wasn't bad, too.

When I came into school, everyone who saw me was speechless. "Why is everyone staring at me?" But then it hit me... I'm not an ordinary kid anymore. But I think they knew who I was when I opened my own locker without hesitation. I wanted to start my day as normal as I would if I hadn't undergone my transformation. I was informed yesterday by the school that all of the staff members knew about my biological mismatch. I'm just interested to hear what my Biology teacher will say!

I arrived into English, and my teacher's jaw dropped. "Obviously, Mrs. Malone has never seen a Yoshi before..." I grinned at the thought. "And if she did, she probably hasn't seen one in real life." She had a hard time teaching the class that day, even though I did nothing... but simply walk into class.

Math was pretty much the same, except my Math teacher did have a better time relaying information. The next class, Health, wasn't normal Health class; I offered to explain to the class what had happened to me. "Now I think I know what I'll do for that project that I have to do by February!" I had study hall; didn't really do a whole lot.

Lunch was the best part of the day, probably because I ate my entire lunch in two minutes, sixteen seconds. Everyone who I normally eat lunch on Tuesdays witnessed it, and one guy actually recorded the time it took me to eat it. "I think that's record time for you, Jason." Someone commented. I just laughed in response.

After study hall was Biology; that was pretty much a repetition of what happened in English. The teacher was somewhat surprised. Obviously, that was the case since for half the class period, she couldn't teach. Repeat this process for the last period, Global, as well.

I had minimal homework for the night, most likely due to the fact that half the teachers had a hard time teaching after seeing me. I ended up playing computer games until it was time to go to bed, 11:00. I slept well... I wonder what tomorrow will bring...

[Leoshi]

The night before, when I was spotted, my quick agile moves allowed me to escape...

The sun arose the next day, but now I was in every danger to be spotted. Of course, I wasn't able to go to school, let alone public. I still remained hidden within the shadows.

"There must be someone." he thought. "That won't cower under my new present form... maybe I'm not alone."

"My family must be worried sick. But I'll scare them to death should I wander back home like this. I must find a solution." with that, he departed, headed away fom the city. As I walked, I found some woods, and beyond that, mountains. Sadly, I took one last view of my home, then turned back and proceeded into the wilderness...

It was hours afterwards that I knew I couldn't go on. I was merley walking for days without food or rest... this had to be the day I found assistance.

"Maybe I may be able to find some food in here." I thought. But as I continued to walk, I was interupted by the sound of large wings flapping. There was one thing on my mind: to hide and stay hidden.

There was a large tree that I was able to take shelter under. Above me, I noticed large shadows. They where menacing, like those of dragons.

"...wait, are they dragons?" I said quietly. I looked up into the sky and saw another...

Suddenly, I saw a flash, and the sound of a gale storm. I saw it: one was attacking another.

"What have I just stumbled onto?" I thought, remaining hidden.

[Voshee]

The news??? I thought, why would anything be on the news? I walked into my living room and turned on the TV. I flipped to channel 3 and watched. Nothing was on, exept a really good recipe for omletes ( which I wrote down). THen suddenly the news lady came on "their has been odd sightings of dragon like people" she said. THIs is so so so weird I thought again. " I 've gotto hide. I'll call~~~ again and tell her to come over." I called her and she picked up" Hurry come to my house we need to hide." "I don't know how to get there"she said "Hold on" I thought about using pixie magic but I wasn't sure how.

[Johnyoshi]

OOC: WHOA!!, I miss alot.

What am i suppose to do?, If he saw me, I don't think it would be good, I have to use my wits or my smart-alexness, "why?"I said. "Ok, just turn around Erick"He said. I look at the Portable T.V. that we had, It was on my bed, I slowly grab it..."come on Erick, It just one easy thing"he said."Sorry Hector...I got to go"I said then I kick jump the window next to my bed,The window shatter so I got out.

"What the heck?"he said. He just look out while I was just running as fast as i can."Weird I didn't know I could run this fast"I thought. Just kept running all I could do was run, Look like i have to go to the forest, Only place I could go,Good bye life.I got a tear in my eye. The Forest wasn't far from here, Which is good for now.

All I have to do I hide until I have a plan. I was almost to the forest, I was starting to lost grip on the T.V, Weird why did I get it? I finally got to the Forest. Not being notice for now, I just kept walking I found a good spot next to a lake. "This is my new home for now"I said

I Just kept thinking how this happen....After a few hours I started getting hungry so I got up and look for something to eat. "Weird I have a urge for fruit" I said. I kept walking and then saw a berry bush, My long tongue grab the whole bush...I eat the whole thing...werid.

It finally started getting dark so I went to sleep...The next day I don't know what time it was but I look up at the sky. Something was going on in the clouds, were they dragons?!?! I didn't know what to do so I just look up for now...

[Yoshiko]

Yoshiko stared right back at the silverish Dragyn, and he waved shyly. "Hi. I'm Yoshiko. Nice to meet yo--" He was about to put out his hand, but felt a massive amount of wind energy blasting down on him. Looking up, he saw another Yoshi, and sighed. "I'm trying to make friends with it! Don't piss it off!" He cried up at him, then turned back at the Dragyn. "Yeah -- I'm Yoshiko. It's nice to meet you." He said politely, holding out his black hand this time, waiting for a response.
"I dunno if I'm right here, but... You are a Silver Dragyn, right? I'm Yoshiko! Oh--already said that. Sorry. Mind if we land? Wings are getting tired." He said calmly, despite the fact there was a huge, monstrous beast in front of him. Heck, he was a Yoshi, there was another one above him -- why worry about a little Dragyn, right?

[red.yoshi]

lumiere flapped faster and faster. "were under attack, keep it cool and hide where ever theres shadows." flames shot out just shy of missing lumieres wing. "rocket launchers..." red thought. "they must be really out for us!" the duo kept flapping until they reached the mountians known as the poconoes, north of steve's hometown. "theres plenty of places to hide here, theres huge mountain tops!" red swished down out of sight. as small as they where, it would still be easy to spot the unknown features of a yoshi and a dragon. "maybe i could go seek comfort with rage." then, red thought better of it. the place where rage stayed was a city built on one of the mountains where he could be easily spotted. "i have to watch out for those too." red thought. homesickness was taking over. red couldnt find any food since he was so high up. "goodnight lumiere, goodnight world." red manage to choke out between tears

[Leoshi]

I, however, chose to remain hidden as the dragons interacted. The last thing I wanted was to be hit by one of those air blasts.

"Dragons... I would assume I'm dreaming, but after becoming a yoshi, then anything could happen. I wonder who they are, and why they have come here." I thought. By now, hunger was starting to dangerously deplete my energy. Nonetheless, I needed to stay hidden and discover what these dragons where upto.

But I was so exausted, I was unable to remain standing. Very slowly, I crouched down on the ground. As I turned myself to keep an eye on them, I accidently made a slight shifting noise.

Instantly, I realized my mistake. "Did they hear that?" I thought. At that moment, I just hoped they hadn't.

[Enrique]

If I thought Tuesday was fun, I must have forgot that the next day - Wednesday - I had PE... I ate my breakfast avidly, just like the day before. Except this time, my parents observed me, for the first time, use my super long, super stretchy tongue. I felt a satisfaction with my new eating device. Eating was now fun, but my parents had to go grocery shopping more often.

I could have slept through Spanish if I wanted. The class is getting more boring by the day, and even though I didn't do the homework for today, I answered the questions that I was asked from it perfectly, and my Spanish teacher assumed that I did the homework. The class has become easy enough for me to enjoy being a Yoshi to take place of doing my Spanish homework. I still constantly get 100's in that class.

Next period was PE. "I wonder what basketball will be like now..." While free shooting, I missed a shot from the free throw line, but when I went to rebound the ball, I jumped to get it... and leapt higher than I could ever jump before. I was exhilarated. Adrenaline flowed through me like water flowed through a river. I was a good foot and a half above the basket. On my descent, I crammed the ball through the hoop.

When I returned to the ground, everyone was looking at me in awe. Jaws were dropped on everyone that I saw. Even I was surprised at my new leaping ability. Someone said that I should join the basketball team. I laughed, then stopped to think about that. "What if I did...?" I think our school would be the first to have a Yoshi on their team.

[Johnyoshi]

I look up, Either way I better should stay hidden and just watch, but on the other hand, dragons should be more scarier than yoshies. But how am I suppose to get up there anyway?Wait if I am what I think I am, I am Commander John he can create fire, so I might have a chance.

I look up and then go backwards then go forwards and jump the highest I can. I was in mid-air for a few sec. then I clap my hands and then.....

[Teo]

OOC: No Enrique, your posts are not too long, don't worry.

I was trying to stay the same distance from the yoshi in front of me, but a gust of wind shook me and I wondered where it came from. I looked at the other yoshi who was above us...it seemed the air blast came from there. I looked back at the black yoshi who was now talking to the yoshi above us, but instead of moving, just put his hand out as a greeting. The yoshi asked if we could land...and frankly, that wasn't a bad idea. I nodded in agreement and stopped flapping my wings, glidding down towards the Earth...

The landing was alright, we were still over the mountain I had taken off of, and it wasn't too rowdy a landing. Just hope no one saw us. I was desperately wrong...by the highway, there was a TV camera in the emergency lane, filming us. Crap...what's the worst thing I could do to stop that? I didn't want to be known as an aggressive creature, I'd be sent air force one against me. I landed normally, the mountain now hidding me from the camera's and the black yoshi landed with. I concentrated again, my thoughts now back in place...yoshi was all that took up my mind, and the itchy and gooey feeling came back. I was turned into my light blue form again.

"Uh, nice to meet you," I said a bit shyly to the winged yoshi in front of me. "Just call me Teo..."

[Yoshiko]

"Teo, eh? All right, Teo, it's nice to meet you. If you want, you can just call me Ko." Yoshiko shook his hand, and smiled a big, Yoshi smile. "Well... I don't know what is going on, but I'm starting to get used to it... Kinda." He said sheepishly, as he had a bit of trouble maneuvering his wings back into their non-flying position.
"Well, you're a Yoshi slash Dragyn hybrid then, eh? Niiiiice." Ko said happily, sitting on the ground. "And... This is going to be hard. you know, staying out here like this. Got any bright ideas?" He asked Teo, looking up at him. "If we went back to my house, we'd get shot. What about your home?" Yoshiko asked, now playing with a few rocks on the ground. He tossed one up in the air, caught it in his palm, and tossed it up again, letting gravity pull it back to the dirt. "Well... We could try talking to Mr. Windy up there."

[Teo]

"Alright, I'll just call you Ko then," I said shaking his hand back. "I know what's going on though...we've been turned into...well, the yoshies we've always wanted to be. I guess I'm not the only yoshi fan!" I muttered.

"Yes, it'll probably be hard staying here...it's a mountain, and the only way to get the army here is by plane or taking a small road up to here. Heh...good thing we've never had a fire, it would take a while if they only sent a truck."

Ko talked about how he had to leave because...well...you know what I'm talking about. "Shot eh? Well here...I guess I'm a bit shy to let my family know I'm a yoshi, so I kinda left. I really don't want them to know." I grabbed my things that were on the ground, trying to stick the tent into the bag. "It might be a good idea after all to talk to windy. Hang on...can you hold my bag a sec?" My third transformation attempt...much easier because I knew my exact form. I was a dragon again. Trying to speak english, I just growled instead. I motioned to Ko to climb on my back. Maybe we would find somewhere...time to ask windy.

[Yoshiko]

"Heh." Ko almost laughed out loud, but tried keeping himself down. "Yeah, Teo, I'm glad I don't really have fire powers. If I did, that could've spelt trouble for us. I tried using them when I first saw you, just in case you were... You know... Unfriendly." He explained to his newfound friend, as he stood back and and stretched his wings. They refolded, and he then stretched his other limbs. "I didn't get much sleep. I had dreams -- well, nightmares, really -- all night long. I need some z's, or I might just keel over soon. But then arises the problem again -- where to sleep? If we try sleeping here, someone, anyone could just waltz right up to us and... Do anything. I vote we try sneaking out from the mountains, then take to the sky again, going as high as we can."
Ko watched in amazement as Teo changed his forms. Nodding as he asked ot hold his bag, Yoshiko gripped it tightly with his -- four!? fingers? That was weird, but he knew they'd always originally had four on Yoshis, so why not now? Shaking it off, the young Yoshi leapt up on to Teo's back, using his wings for extra height, but not exactly flying.

[Johnyoshi]

I fell down on the ground, "I don't think I have the power to create fire, Or so I think so"I said getting up.The only thing I could is to wait, Or just keep trying use my powers. I clapped my hand and tried to create fire again.Nope of course not. He went back to the lake and just waited on what those yoshies will do."Well this answer my question of other dragons and yoshies"
