Yoshi's Island~
Yinky-oshi looked up at the sky, it was very clouded over, almost eerie. Fog was up and about in every way you looked.
"Looks like today's gonna be nice and cheerful...heh," said Yinky-oshi and she rolled her eyes. "As if this place is beautiful anymore...it looks like life died years ago, and it did!"
She walked around, her sandels getting dirty by the mud in the ground. She noticed something in the distance. It was a bright light.
"What is THAT," she said as she walked twords it. "It looks...like a big white light...?" She put her hand in it, it disappeared. "Hmm..."

Enrique had just finished typing an essay about the Western Hemisphere warm pool. "What a day..." He sighed and looked out the window... and sighed again. What a depressing place his homeland of Yoshi's Island turned out to be. He heard it was caused by a political corruption, but the sources were either not credible or undetailed.
About the only thing that kept him going was his research of oceanic climatology and his companions, Ishathod and Hugo. His stingray, Ishathod, spent most of his days at home. His newborn Chao, Hugo, was just acquired by him.
Hugo lept into Enrique's lap to see what Enrique was working on. However, Hugo didn't understand Enrique's essay; he could barely even read at this point in time. <I'm bored, Enrique.> "So am I, Hugo." No sense in going outside to play; everyone was so afraid of the alleged corrupt government that they barely came out into public anymore; they were all scared that they get arrested for unrealistic reasons.

"And tell me again, why are we here?"
"You SAID, I could chose, so I chose this place for a vacation."
"Right..."
Jay and Evan, being their usual selves. Jay chose the Dragon Realms to hang out and hopefully find some adventure.
"Something tells me..." Jay said.
"What?" Evan Responded.
"I should go and..."
"And..."
"Try to find the Elders, and find Spyro!"
Evan just fainted quickly, and got back up.
"You're such a idiot..."
Jay laughed a lot from that comment. He really wanted to see Spyro again, since it has been a while.
"Well, HOPEFULLY find Spyro, but I hope not to find Elder Titan." Jay said with a grin on his face.
"Why not Elder Titan?"
"1. He forgets 2. He talks to much 3. He gets upset for no reason, and will bop you."
"Right."
"Aw Shut up."

red stroked lumiere on the bright sunny day. he had a blank look on his face. they where sitting under a palm tree. they where on a beach. red didnt like the sun. he lay in the sand, and sighed. "another day lumiere." she just grunted.

Leoshi sighed. He was walking along the side of a road, looking for a place to stay. He left his town for a trip, and decided to find a hotel or something similiar.
However, his eyes suddenly spotted a very similar figure walking along the other side of the road.
Leoshi gasped. "No..."
The other figure began to approach him. It was his darker form, who would be simply called "Dark" Leoshi.
"If you have come to detsroy me again, you will have made the wrong choice!" Leoshi shouted, holding out his spell book.
"Don't flatter yourself. There is something that must be discussed." his darker version stated.
Leoshi looked at him suspsiously.

Ra and all the other grand Carniads left.They were off to Yoshi's Island.They were visiting thier hometown,for a vacation.`
Yoshi's Island-Night time-
Ra:"Wow,haven't been here for a long time."
Angela:"It looks......different!"
Angelo:"That's because........!"
Angela:"*Gasp!!!*"
Ra:"No!"
Koga:"Our hometown.........it's......destroyed!"
Ra:"Who could've done this!"
The town looks like a gigantic crator.The Carniads were devistated.
Angelo:"Whoever done this,will PAY!"
Ra:"First,we need to rest.We have been traveling for some time now.Come,let's find a place to stay for the night."

I picked up a handful of dark dirt, and let it run out from between my fingers. The land had been like this ever since the bad guys took over... I was resentful of them. Of course they had all the little bad guys, like Koopas or Goombas, under control, but they were the control. World peace was not all that it had cracked up to be... Champ came up next to me, followed by Charon. "Any sign of... well, anything?" <No,> Chamo started, <But we did find something shiny earlier. Should we go back and look for it?> "Of course. It's not like we're doing anything else. Lead me there." I pointed. Charon sighed, and turned around. <But we just got here! Why can't we at least rest for a while?> "Because, if we stop we could be arrested for being outside. We have to stay on the move."

I was walking around the near-deserted island. Fog and cold...all I had was a small hut I had made when all this cold suddenly came... in town, it was apparently a new government. Great, I came to yoshies island years back for peace and a good life, here I am freezing my tail off. If it wasn't for the fact I had quite a few friends here, I'd be out of here...it's not a tropical paradise anymore. I was in my hut, in front of a small fire. Any larger and something would catch. "I hope I'm not breaking another rule for bringing warmth in or something. Well, time to find more wood for the fire, and more bamboo and straw for the roof. Maybe I can make this place larger." I went outside and to my left was a bamboo forest, one of my most brilliant ideas. I always wanted to name moves, but it's ridiculous. none-the-less, I have coined this as the 'fire cutter'. I jumped forwards and bent low, breathing a flat stream of fire that cut a chunk of the forest down. I immedietaly went searching to see if I over burnt something.
As I did, something appeared in front of me! It was someone with the head of a dragon dressed in white and blue robes. He looked around and said: "Darn, I must have miss-teleported again." Then he turned and saw me, and continued saying: "You speak English?" I stood up offended. "You're the one sounding like the monkey." He looked at me giving a little chuckle, his teeth moving up and down. "Hey, would you happen to have a law rune for teleports? I didn't take a second in case." I looked at him a bit akwardly, then in a bit of suprise. No way, this is... heh, he decided to come STRAIGHT out of there then. "No, I don't have any law runes. In fact, you'll have a hard time finding any runes around here, or metals any stronger than steel. I think you'll have to do with what you have. You're stuck here!!"
He looked at me, the black eyes of the green mask just starring in disbelief after he realized who I was.

red mounted lumiere as the sky turned dark. "somthings wrong" he wispered as lumiere became nervious. "how about some ice skating?" "please" said lumiere into red's head. she couldnt talk like a normal human being. red pulled some bark off of the tree. it changed into a spell tag in his hands. ice formed under lumiere, who imidiatly slid fowards following the rapidly forming path. "come on lumiere, atleast you dont have to fly us to the village to warn others!"

I bear hugged my buddy, "Who! So glad we could finally meet!" He bear hugged back, saying: "How could I forget the one who made me? I've come a long way without you, but it didn't feel the same without you (insert my real name here)." I responded slowly, taking a step back, "Please, here, call me Theodore, or even Teo. Now, do you happen to have a spare MB and some arrows to do some target practise?" He put a grin on his mask/dragon face and out of his robes, pulled out two vividly green bows. "Short or long?" he asked. I took the long, I knew he prefered the short, and I'd need its unique power.
We went about a quarter mile from my hut and he handed me a small bag of twenty blue arrowheads which could be snapped on to your leg, which I did, the feathery sides of the arrows at my fingertips. I admited to him, "I haven't exactly used a bow in ages, I might need the 'special' power a few times," and on that note, we both thingyed an arrows and shot at a tree. His shot hit dead in the center, whereas mine trailed to the tree behind it. "Aw, close buddy!" he said friendly. I loaded another arrow and felt for its magic (if you haven't figured it out, MB means 'Magic Bow'). My blue arrow was surrounded by green and I shot, the arrow curving in the air and splitting "Who's" arrow in half. "Hey hey careful, you said there would be no materials harder than steel, I have a limited amount of those!" He said. "Sorry, maybe I should aim lower next time. In fact..." I loaded and fired another arrow, directly hitting underneath with the same green effect. I fired two more after that, the bow's magic allowing me to use stunning accuracy upon the tree, while my buddy was hitting the tree without any magic, until a few seconds. He too felt for his bows magic and his hand became amazingly quick, firing two shots in a split second, but both hitting the very sides of the tree. Better than me, I had expired my bows power for now and I was barely getting the tree at all!
After that, we went to get his arrows back to find that instead of having the fourty-count that we shot, five broke total, three from overly high speeds and landing in the trees akwardly, one we lost, and the one that snapped when the second arrow came down on it. "I haven't shot like this in ages!" I exclaimed. "Got any runes I could try out? I haven't used magic in so long, I've lost how to do your kinds of magic!" He smiled, taking out a staff with a red orb, but he thought again and brought one out with a brown orb. "Afraid I'll set something on fire? Oh well, I'll be careful not do crush trees instead." He pulled out a sack and out came roughly thirty very small stones. About twenty of them had a white wave of sorts on them and the ten others had a sun-like shape on them. I hadn't used these in ages, I thought I had a store of these somewhere. I graciously accepted and pointed towards a tree. I waved the staff in the air and three stones disappeared from my other hand, two with the white wave and one sun one, and a small brown ball formed from the air. I used both hands to push it towards a tree, and the ball streamed towards the tree like a comet. It hit the tree and exploded, sending bark everywhere as the energy was released. We both ducked and looked up when it was safe.
He spoke first after a while's pause...
"Nice. Try with Iban." Iban?? Was he nuts? Oh well, I always wanted to use it. He took his stones back and gave new ones, a lot less this time. Ten with a fire on it and two with a skull head on them, plus out from his robes, he pulled out the staff of Iban...a red staff with the end like...like...for lack of a better word, a dead sunflower facing down, red and yellow all over. I held the staff in the air, this shot I would have to be careful, very careful...Iban's power was not to be messed with. His staff was nearly unbreakable, his powers matched by only a few wizards, only two being able to defeat him, and I was standing next to one of them. I waved the staff as six stones, five with the fire symbol and one with the skull head. The end of the staff absorbed a red energy and temporarily glowed as I pointed it at a tree. No, that'll catch fire... I pointed at the open plain, No, that'll make a crater! I looked around, the ball was ready to launch, and no matter Iban's staff, the ball would launch soon. I did amond the worst possible mistakes...I pointed the ball upwards towards the sky.
A bright orange ball left the end of the staff and formed a comet shape. What was special of Iban, is that this could be controlled to some degree. I made it spin in the sky, and in less than two seconds, there were five koopa's in armor standing no less than three yards in front of us. "Koopatrol! Only one thing to do," I said. "Bring the spell down already!! See its power against them! They are your enemies, right?" He said, a bit daringly. He didn't fear anything, and I feared Koopatrol, but in the air, was their fate. I brought the staff down, as the end kept facing the orange ball, the motion on the staff restricted by wherever the ball was. Me and 'Who' jumped back as far as our legs could carry us as I let the ball do its thing without needing me. The red doom slammed right into the koopatrols, burrowing two feet underneath the soil before blowing up and sending the Koopatrol flying in the air, their armors consumed by the red explosion and melting it, leaving their flesh -nearly- intact as they landed several feet further, and a mini-mushroom forming where Iban's blast had landed. After nearly a minute's pause, I let out a small sound, barely heard in the now burnt land and the wind kicking up the dust...

"Enrique! Come here!," Yinky screamed. "I found something! It looks like some sort of portal to another world!"
She looked around. Anywhere had to be better then Yoshi's Island now.

Enrique heard my friend Yinky yell for me outside my house. "I'll be right out, Yinky!" Enrique quickly jumped out of his seat. Hugo closely followed. <I wanna come too!> The very young Chao was scared to be all alone; he didn't mind being with just Ishathod, but he felt more comfortable with Enrique. "Okay, Hugo. You can come too." Enrique turned toward Ishathod's room. "Ishathod, the house is all yours for a while."
Hugo jumped on Enrique's back as Enrique started his way toward the door. Yinky was there waiting for him. "Hey, Yinky! What's up?"

She shivered and pointed. "What IS that? Is it any harm to us at all?" She walked around it and stared. "Hmm...maybe it's a portal? Or maybe it's a one way ticket to death." She looked at Hugo. "Oh...I didn't mean to scare you if I did!" She hugged him.

red finally got to the town. "hang on lumiere!" red used a flame magic spell tag which did a huge drop. it immediatly turned to ice. red grabbed ahold of lumiere tightly. dispite lumieres stubborn attitude, red could feel excitement growing in her as they came closer and closer to the drop. they fell so fast that the ground under them split into a "v" shape. lumiere glided at the end of the fall, doing summersaults in the air. red jumped off lumiere at 15 feet, and landed swiftly, kneeling on one foot. lumiere pounded the ground behind him. red didnt see any people though, the houses where deserted. "where is everyone?" red's voice echoed. he went inside one of the houses. everything was in a messy fashion - the beds not made, unclean floors, dirty dishes.."must of known, and left in a hurry" red thought puzzled. he felt his neck tingling. red swiftly pulled two spell tags - the immidiate action one, and the plasma burst. he swished around, and aimed his attack at...a lamp? "what a waste" said red as his hands turned back to normal. then, someone from behind grabbed him, and used some kind of sleeping gas. red instantly feel asleep, and was draged away.

Hugo was a little scared at Yinky's comments to this black-colored hole-thing. He clinging to Enrique's shirt out of defense. He was a relieved a little bit when Yinky hugged him, but he was still a little terrified at the portal-thingy-whatchamacallit. "Yeah, you might want to be careful, Yinky. Hugo gets scared easily like that." Enrique pet Hugo on the head.
"I... don't... really... know..." Enrique didn't know what to think of the black hole. "Maybe, if we can find them, Champ and Charon might know."

Yinky sighed. "I am very sorry Hugo...I won't say it again." She nodded at Enrique. "That sounds like a pretty good idea to me." She smiled and grabbed her rod. "Well, let us be off then."

<Okay...> Hugo still looked terrified. He clung unto Enrique as tight as he possibly could. "It's okay, Hugo. She didn't mean to scare you." Enrique hugged Hugo in order to boost the Chao's esteem. "Let's go find them. Maybe we'll figure out what this thing is."

"Why should I trust you?" Leoshi asked.
"Do you want everyone you know to be overcome by darkness?" Dark Leoshi asked back.
"I don't trust you." Leoshi said. "You are evil, how do I know you aren't a traitor?"
"I am not evl. I am not good. I work alone." the darker one said.
"Fine. I'll believe you for now." Leoshi said. "But of you dare double cross me..." he reached for his spell book.
"Just help me. This power is becoming too evil to bear. We shall defeat it." his darker version said. "This is but a tempory truce."
"Agreed. We shoul try to find more assistance." Leoshi said. "Others can't be too far from here."

<Well, then, let's go.> Champ jumped on my shoulder and I started walking. Charon just stared at me.
"You don't want to stay here all alone, do you?" I turned around and asked him.
<No.> He hurried after us.
A large explosion was heard somewhere in the forest ahead of us, and I saw two dark objects get flung into the air. "What was that!?" I yelped in surprise.
<Whatever it was, it was over there. That means, we should go this way.> Charon said, frightened. "No, no, those were... Koopatrols! There's someone over there!"

Me and 'Who' were both lying on the ground when we looked up to see Yoshee and her Chao. "Hey Yoshee!" I said waving, then my friend started waving too. "Guess who I met?" I said, still clutching the staff of Iban. "And look what he brought!" I lifted myself with the staff, and turned to the side, launching another blast into the air, which attracted five more koopatrol. "Dang, they keep appearing. Oh well." I was about to point my staff at them, indicating the point of impact for my 'bomb' when my buddy held back. The ball nearly hit them, but gained altitude again. "I think that's quite enough of that," The bomb exploded in the air, creating quite a blast. The Koopatrol were still partly covering themselves from the near-hit. 'Who' took out another staff, this one with a swirly yellow end, waved it at them and all the koopatrols were paralyzed on the spot. I rubbed the back of my head and grinned a little, handing him back his staff. "You better not get over-exited by this magic again," he said warningly.
"So Yoshee, anything new on your side?" I said trying to change the topic from magic.
